08/07/2025: Nice and welcoming atmosphere, very good pizza.

30/06/2025: Trovandoci a Polcenigo e volendo mangiare una pizza, ci siamo ricordati di questo locale in quante altre volte in passato ci eravamo trovati bene e non era male. Memori di questo ci siamo ritornati. Ordiniamo due pizze di cui una alle verdure e una bufala. Quando arrivano notiamo subito che l'impasto trabordava abbondantemente dai piatti mentre il contenuto specialmente in quella alle verdure si limitava alla parte centrale. In pratica era più pasta che contenuto. Le verdure lasciamo perdere. Solitamente si mettono verdure grigliate di stagione tipo zucchine, melanzane etc. etc.. Ci troviamo, invece, verdure tipo sottolio tra cui mais (da quando mai si mette il mais in una pizza. Il mais può andare bene per gli americani che non sanno cosa si mette in una pizza. Per loro se al posto del pomodoro si mette il Ketchap va bene lo stesso). Per la prima volta ci ritroviamo a non finire entrambi la pizza. Chiediamo cortesemente se si può mettere ciò che resta in un cartone. Di solito detta operazione per motivi pratici e igienici viene fatta in cucina dal personale e non dal cliente al tavolo. Vabbe'. Ci viene portato il contenitore richiesto (chiuso) che al cameriere cade per terra. Lo recupera e con un modo tipo "cjapa ed arrangiati" ce lo consegna. Lo apriamo e poniamo quello che rimane delle rispettive pizze. Ci rechiamo a pagare. La compagna appoggia la carta al pos per procedere al pagamento e forse perché non lo ha appoggiato nel posto giusto non avviene la transazione. La cassiera senza chiedere se poteva prendere la carta o meno la toglie repentinamente di mano alla compagna e procede al pagamento. Non sei mica una nostra parente o conoscente per fare questo. Rilascio i miei commenti sulla nostra insoddisfazione delle pizze e ce ne andiamo. Dispiace. Avevamo un bel ricordo del locale. Indubbiamente un corso accelerato di buone maniere al personale non guasterebbe. Per noi mai più.

25/08/2025: The products are excellent, but it's a very busy place, so the atmosphere and service can be chaotic at times. It's definitely worth it!

20/08/2025: Terrible reception from the staff. There are many ways to interact with customers. It's incredibly hot inside. As soon as we entered, we left.

28/08/2025: The meat is highly recommended because it's cooked to perfection. I also recommend the cured meats and homemade wine, which are another highlight.

22/08/2025: A very simple place, but the food is truly home-cooked and fantastic. Silvia, the owner and chef, is truly kind and available to accommodate our requests, even preparing us a Lubyanka at short notice. What can I say? A must-visit when you're passing through Trieste and want to eat well without spending a fortune. Keep it up!

22/08/2025: A pleasant surprise. A classic osteria where Silvia welcomes you like a true host with a smile and warmth, preparing fresh dishes with quality ingredients. Excellent homemade desserts. Super price! There were 11 of us and we only spent 90 euros!

15/06/2025: Every time you pass by it is a must to stop and get a scoop. Super helpful and kind staff. Excellent ice cream and honest price! My daughter would like to move to San Daniele just for this ice cream shop ☺️ super!!!!!! ❤️

30/08/2025: Fresh fish. Followed the kitchen's instructions.

23/08/2025: We liked the freshness of the fish and the very young and nice waiter, the mini terrace was also nice. Overall, good even if a few more side dishes besides the polenta could have been included.

14/06/2025: Although the owner was welcoming and friendly, the portions of the main courses were miserable and the dishes arrived within a couple of minutes suggesting that they were reheated on the spot. Roast beef was not of the best quality. In addition, the food was excessively salty as was the bill, given the rather ridiculous portions. We finished eating within 5 minutes. Premise: there is no menu so it is not possible to consult the price list. Super disappointing!

21/05/2025: There is no price list / menu, so you don't know the price of the dish. We ate a first course that was very poor in quantity and mediocre in taste, water and coffee, paid a lot😱

30/07/2025: World's best pizza. This is how I imagine pizza in paradise. Great atmosphere, no frills. Staff was friendly. This taste experience, a dream, together with my favorite Cuginettis, made it an unforgettable evening. Pizza da Franco love forever 🥹🥰👌🥳

30/07/2025: We’ve been in Italy for a week now and have had great food but this place was very disappointing. Ordered a mozzarella and sausage pizza that had absolutely no flavor. We were starving and only ate one piece each. Waste of money and I’m super disappointed for the amount of reviews this place gets.

16/07/2025: Everything was very good 😋 I notice that there are reviews (both positive and negative) about other places. Before writing, make sure you're at least talking about the right place!

10/07/2025: From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally rude, unfriendly, and completely lacked basic manners. Their behavior made us feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable that we ultimately decided to leave before even ordering any food. We've never encountered such unprofessionalism in a restaurant, and it completely ruined our evening. We will not be returning and strongly advise others to consider dining elsewhere.😤😤😤

26/04/2025: Questa hostaria è veramente molto simpatica. Ci siamo andati due volte e eravamo contentissimi. Cibo buono, bevande tremende : (il vino bianco friulano è ottimo). I prezzi sono nella media. I ragazzi e le ragazze del personale sono molto affabili. Possiamo consigliare questo posto senza esitazione.

03/08/2025: A guarantee, it's the fourth time we've been here and they've never missed a beat. The grilled meat, the house specialty, is phenomenal, the traditional meatballs are also good, the service is attentive... the outdoor space is a pleasant and quiet corner. We'll definitely be back. 👏
