22/03/2026: Sunday evening dinner, when you don't have anything at home. Farmhouse with home-made flavors, a perfect platter with sublime salami, cheese not up to par, accompanied by homemade bread. Delicate cotechino with excellent stewed cabbage, roast chicken with wild garlic and perfectly cooked sclopit, along with wild garlic potatoes. To finish, Refosco ice cream and a persimmon and pear tart, good quality wines! Lovely owners, we'll be back!!!

09/11/2025: In a warm mountain setting, with a lively dining room, Monday night showcased the vibrancy of one of the few active establishments in this beautiful mountain village. There were some pleasant surprises when choosing wines, including the magnificent Livio Felluga, Vértigo, which speaks of terroir and foreign grape varieties. Just a couple of pasta dishes with venison ragu, where the magic was diminished by the overuse of a heavy-handed knife that flattened the dish. The pasta was good, but the overall experience was underutilized by the presence of this harsh knife, which made everything seem even. A little cheese served as a fitting end to the meal. The next day we returned for lunch and found the same flaw in a goulash and a venison stew. The dishes fell short of their potential. Attentive service. Friendly atmosphere.

15/03/2026: A village trattoria with convenient parking in front, offering a seafood-focused menu with hot and cold appetizers, first and second courses. The menu isn't printed, but is described verbally when you order. The calamarata and grilled calamari are excellent, and the desserts are a bit limited but still good. The place has a slightly retro feel, but is very pleasant and clean. The service was quick and very friendly.

22/02/2026: I found it very good, both as a set menu for lunch during the week, and on Sunday for lunch. Excellent fish!

02/05/2026: Let me start by saying I don't like to leave negative reviews... but I hope it helps someone else, including the restaurant's managers. Slow service, half-empty restaurant, the Ljiublianske were not the ones I'm used to... non-existent meat (they said sliced) and the appearance was like industrially frozen food... Gnocchi definitely not handmade... house red wine not appreciated... mussels sent back to the kitchen... high price for the quality found. I paid for everything, including the mussels, without any fuss, but I definitely won't be returning.

12/04/2026: The first time I walked through Gigi's doors was in 1988, and since then I've had the pleasure of returning several times a year. Last night was the second disappointment... I wanted to try again, after having convinced myself the second-to-last time was a sad exception....but instead, the god of money has taken over even this historic place.... Small portions....unjustifiably increased prices....fast-food quality....food reheated from the previous lunch....a real shame....Too bad....

That evening, I chose the grilled fish, which was truly well executed and appreciated for its quality and flavor. Pleasant atmosphere, perfect location, and friendly, helpful staff. Recommended for grill lovers.

26/01/2026: Homemade tagliatelle and gnocchi, the meat is delicious. I recommend both the first and second courses, especially the gnocchi, the roast beef or rib-eye steak, and the frico. The mixed salad is also delicious!

01/05/2026: Elegant seafood restaurant in the center of Pordenone, with subtle marine-inspired décor and a well-curated wine list. The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming. The staff are consistently warm, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. It’s always a հաճer to return. We started with a focaccia served with butter and Cantabrian anchovies—simple and full of flavor. For mains, the carbonara with ricciola was a creative and well-balanced twist on the classic, and the lasagnetta with asparagus and prawns was delicate and very enjoyable. Desserts were also excellent: a light, crisp millefoglie and a tiramisù presented in a fun, original way. A great spot to relax and enjoy high-quality food in a calm setting. Would definitely come back.

25/04/2026: The food was good, but the service was terrible. We repeatedly pointed out that there was a very elderly person at the table, as the reservation had been made very early. Despite this, the meal took over two and a half hours to finish. Unacceptable. Catering isn't just about knowing how to cook, it's also about caring for people.

02/02/2026: Really good food. We were served pizzas although we arrived late in the evening. The place could use a little designers touch since it looks too Spartan.

05/05/2026: I came to Monfalcone for work, having stayed late, looking for a small seafood restaurant, and came across this one, the closest one in the guidebook, a simple establishment located inside a private dock for sailing boats and private vessels. I ordered grilled scallops as an appetizer, which were delicious. Then I ordered tagliolini with fresh baby octopus, cherry tomatoes, capers, and Tagalog olives. I must say, this is a triumphant dish for the place. It was delicious, exceptionally flavorful, and plentiful, so much so that it could have been a first or second course, with so many baby octopus and olives. I also have to compliment Miss Gloria for her kindness, who served us carefully, carefully putting on disposable bibs for fear of staining our shirts. We drank some wine by the glass and a sorbet. Excellent price, I recommend it.

14/04/2026: Family lunch. The flavors aren't explosive and don't convince you to consider a new experience. The creamed cod is flavorless. The wheat sauce is very salty. The scampi risotto is flavorless. The gnocchi are excellent. The battered cod is difficult to eat because it's served in a series of boats. The staff is polite.
