17/08/2025: We found this wonderful rotisserie just steps from the hotel where we were staying in Cesenatico. It's a quiet, friendly place in a quiet area. We immediately had a great time; all the staff were very helpful and kind. We tried several dishes, and they all exceeded our expectations. As true Bolognese locals, we recommend the lasagna, which is truly delicious!

10/08/2025: The worst lasagna I've ever eaten. In fact, it wasn't lasagna but layers of pasta with béchamel sauce. I asked the person there why there was no meat? The answer was: "Romagnola lasagna has little ragu." A real feeling of being taken for an idiot. It wasn't little ragu that was on my plate, it wasn't at all. If you go there, forget the lasagna, it's a disaster and even a shame. €9 for a portion of pasta with béchamel sauce is well paid, plus the dish was just lukewarm (the béchamel sauce just lukewarm and set, it's awful). The Frito Misto wasn't bad. Very disappointed!

02/06/2026: My partner and I had a wonderful time at Locanda Michelacci! We were greeted with kindness and helpfulness by the owner, who proved to be the perfect hostess, always present, friendly but never intrusive, and truly committed to managing everything! We thank her for keeping us company when we were alone at breakfast and dinner, which we recommend trying, as it was excellent! The room was very spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, plenty of light, and a perfect temperature! (As we all know, at that altitude, you don't need air conditioning...in fact, thank goodness we had a blanket). We will keep this place in mind for future visits, but in the meantime, we recommend it as an excellent starting point for exploring the Casentino Forest Park and for feeling truly at home, without too many expectations, just relaxing in a family atmosphere and rediscovering the pleasure of being together.

10/01/2026: Extremely late, I'm finally taking a break and relaxing by writing this review, which dates back to New Year's Eve and January 1st and 2nd. Cristina, the owner, made us feel at home right away and took care of us with delicious food and great attention. The inn is a welcoming place with a large fireplace that warms the heart and soul as well as the body. It's a timeless place, ideal for a break from the routine, yet close to so many magical places to visit. The prices are also truly excellent! I recommend it to anyone looking for human warmth! 12/03/2026: This beautiful little Shabby Chic café offers a wide range of excellent products, both for breakfast and lunch. Many are organic and/or gluten-free. The barista is knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. 5 stars, well deserved!

09/11/2025: This family-run restaurant boasts excellent service, friendly, and courteous staff, fast service, and the option of a combo menu at a fairly reasonable price. (Photo) We went during our lunch break, so we were short on time. We pre-ordered, and when we arrived, the service was prompt. I liked the table setting with a placemat, the fresh bread, and various condiments. The table was neat and clean, and the atmosphere was also clean. We chose a menu combo of a first course, second course, side dish, and drink for €11, or a second course, side dish, and drink for €9. The quality of the food could be improved. Unfortunately, my veal with tuna sauce wasn't very good, and the fries were a little soft; perhaps they were reheated. I don't know, I didn't ask. So, it's recommended for lunch if you don't have any special requirements. However, if you're looking for flavor, this might not be the restaurant for you.

30/10/2025: Terrible, waiting 10 minutes for someone to come and get a table. No one came and I left!

15/05/2026: I usually read reviews of places, just to get an idea. This was an anomalous case, without half measures, either the minimum or the maximum, a strange situation, I think. Then I met Giovanni, Gigino's son, who welcomed us into his modest inn as if we were family, advised us on the best route to take, proudly told us about the peculiarities of the area, what happened in his historic place, with great detail, without neglecting the thorniest details, of a difficult area often abandoned by the institutions, capturing the attention and curiosity of all of us. He showed us his wonderful botanical creations, his bonsai, each more beautiful than the last, not for sale, never, but given as gifts to whoever can earn Giovanni's friendship and commit to caring for them for life. Always kind, and with a smile on his face, a genuine, sincere person is either loved or hated. I am part of the former. Thanks Giovanni, see you soon.

25/12/2025: Christmas lunch, welcoming place, delicious food.....it makes you feel like you're at home.

24/12/2025: We ate lunch for two. The food was very poor; the appetizers were salty and not very fresh. The pasta for the first course was overcooked and the seafood was raw. I hate to say it, but it ruined my day, and we even paid too much in my opinion. Not recommended.

05/01/2026: A place to forget, it's literally disgusting and I treated you shamefully. I will never go back there and I repeat never again. The morning waitress is totally incompetent and rude, she always seems pissed off, zero professionalism.

16/05/2026: A truly charming and elegant place, with an atmosphere almost reminiscent of a tea room. The atmosphere is refined and relaxing, perfect for enjoying breakfast or a leisurely break. The selection of pastries is extensive, and the quality is evident. I tried a special pastry with pear jam and mulled wine, and it was a truly excellent discovery—unusual yet well-balanced in flavor. The staff is friendly, fast, and efficient. The only small flaw I noticed was the freshly squeezed orange juice: freshly squeezed and very good, no complaints about the quality, but honestly, I didn't find it commensurate with the €4 I paid, especially considering the quantity. Otherwise, however, the prices seemed absolutely fair. Overall, it's a place you'll want to come in and leave wanting more.

19/04/2026: On the advice of a friend, I come for breakfast here. I get a croissant with chantilly cream and then 4 sweets. I get 2 boats with pistachio and hazelnuts and zabaglione, and then 2 small cakes always with pistachio and hazelnut and always this zabaglione. As soon as I eat 1 I understand the indecency. The various flavors of these 4 mignon were non-existent and the consistency was embarrassing. They didn't taste of hazelnut, pistachio or even zabaglione. After just 1, I wanted to go back and give them back because I was disgusted by these creams. I'm giving 2 stars only for the croissant with chantilly cream, which was the most edible and good, but I won't be going back again.

06/08/2025: We ordered four pizzas and I politely asked the waitress to have two middle ones, because I don't like the edges. Shortly afterward, the chef arrived and said it wasn't possible. We ate them anyway, but they were tough, like pizzas from four days ago. Unfortunately, they weren't good.

25/07/2025: The pizza was very tasty and was ready quickly, but the burger could be improved.

13/12/2025: An experience to forget. I ordered a Margherita pizza with black olives for a whopping €12.26, with free Deliveroo home delivery (!). The delivery driver delivered a pizza so small, barely enough for one person. The bottom was burnt. I called the restaurant to express my displeasure, but was treated rudely and with complete disrespect. NOT RECOMMENDED!

01/11/2025: Let me start by saying I'm pissed off because I had to wait an hour and a quarter for a pizza, but a good start is a good start. We follow the signs to enter and find ourselves in front of a closed door. We go back and realize that to get in, you had to go through the bar. The service is extremely slow, the pizza is passable. Two men were using vapes, and the staff didn't say anything to them. Prices are moderately high.
