04/06/2024: I stopped during a bike trip for a sandwich, spectacular service, very nice owner and excellent products.

19/08/2024: The coffees aren't exactly great and are of lower quality than those found in the region. A rather cold welcome. We were also prevented from playing cards (!).

22/06/2024: Vagabondo Caffè is located in Ferrara in Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, 98. I visited it accompanied by my daughter, a student in Ferrara, and I really liked it. The young and well-trained managers make the difference in addition to the excellent coffee. Quality brioches and pastries. A point of note is the tastefully created environment as well as offering the possibility of purchasing books to read that can be consulted on site and on display... a really nice idea. Congratulations to the managers...

29/05/2024: Tanta simpatia, frittura un po' moscia... il posto è informale ma accogliente e ripeto la frittura era un po' grossolana e non croccante. Ho dato comunque 4 stelle per la simpatia del personale e per la freschezza del pesce. Prezzi corretti.

08/08/2024: It's not the first time I've come to this place, but it's the first time I've found such poor and unpleasant service. I received a terrible hugo that only tasted of lemon, but even worse was the bartender who doesn't give customers a greeting, a smile or a thank you but clearly demonstrates how much their presence bothers her. I won't be coming back again.

13/08/2024: We had a deplorable experience in this restaurant which turned out to be a real tourist trap. From the start, the tone was set: I asked for a pizza without cheese for my allergic son, and the waiter told me that it was impossible to remove it because the pizza was simply frozen. An aberration for an establishment that claims to be Italian! The tomato-mozzarella salad that I then ordered was simply infamous: a handful of hastily cut cherry tomatoes, four slices of dubious quality mozzarella, all served without a single drop of sauce. As for the octopus tentacles my husband ordered, it was even worse: no seasoning, no oil, just pieces thrown on the plate without care or flavor. It was dry, bland, and just plain unacceptable. Certainly, the prices are attractive, but that in no way justifies the mediocre quality of the dishes. Clearly, nothing homemade, no love of the craft, simply reheated industrial products. I would highly not recommend this place to anyone looking for a true Italian dining experience. A huge disappointment.

02/08/2024: Unique format in Alessandria: pizza and drink, ideal both for dining and for an aperitif sharing a few pizzas. Special mention for the pizzino. Thanks to Pino who has welcomed us for years now!

13/05/2024: I imagined an old-fashioned trattoria/tavern, with dishes that are not very elaborate but well made, in reality it is better to heat up one of those cans they sell in supermarkets. McDonald's hamburger is definitely much better. As someone had already said: school canteen quality! On the site they advertise a price but in reality it is obviously another higher one. One star 🌟 for the very kind waitress!

03/07/2024: oggi sono tornato da Caleffi cosicché non modifico la mia recensione di ieri, ne scrivo una nuova, allora, prima cosa: la recensione che mi segue non è affatto vera, è gratuita, cattiva, insolente, diffamatoria: ok? understand? la qualità di caleffi per quanto mi riguarda è perfetta, il locale è pulitissimo, non è affatto vero che gli abiti ecc. ecc., le ragazze hanno vestiti perfetti lo dico perchè le ho osservate molto-molto-molto bene, sono tutte dei pezzi stupendi di donna!!! vi ho fatto una semplice colazione (vedi foto: scattata alle 14:10 ora locale da mio smartphone): spremuta con ghiaccio - latte macchiato bianchissimo e macchia a parte - brioche ai frutti di bosco ripiena di squisita marmellata ai frutti di bosco; perché speciale? perché me l'hanno portata sul vassoio perché c'è un servizio di classe, la dolce fanciulla che me l'ha portato mi ha detto 'scusi il ritardo', era passato qualche minuto ma erano impegnate con altri clienti che pranzavano, il servizio si paga che scoperta quindi la qualità è in questo servizio, non come da n.u. dove uno si deve portare tutto da dentro a fuori e poi non ti puliscono il tavolo manco morti, o da r. dove ... lasciamo perdere leggi mia recensione se t'interessa; stavo bene oggi pomeriggio, non è già da eccellenza essere contenti? non è già speciale? nei posti di cui sopra sono uscito sempre scontento pentito d'esserci stato, commesse sgarbate gran ca... pardon confusione, il posto è molto bello in uno stile modernissimo, ampie sale, bei tavolini, dalle vetrate aperte entrava il profumo estivo dell'erba del grande parco Bassani di fronte, ho visto che fanno tanti altri piatti per il pranzo appena posso li proverò; per il momento per quanto mi riguarda qui siamo già ell'eccellenza, delle bambole che ci sono ho già detto; l'unica cosa: siccome la macchina si parcheggia dall'altra parte dove c'è sempre posto, occhio ad attraversare la strada: oggi ho iniziato ad attraversare sulle strisce, mentre due agenti di pl attraversavano dall'altra, a metà è sopraggiunto un furgone a tutta velocità, da investimento, i due pl hanno fatto finta di niente e io allora gli ho detto: 'ma non lo fermate quest'idiota??' ... niente ... prossima volta, quando ci lascia la pelle qualcuno.

21/07/2024: Historic Ferrara restaurant active since 1901, a destination for many Ferrara residents over the years and also VIPs. Excellent quality classic Ferrara cuisine.
