21/05/2026: Seafood lunch near the beach. Spectacular dishes... excellent quality fish, everything perfectly cooked, the fried fish melted in your mouth and was super crispy... very generous and satisfying portions. The dessert was also really good. Service was quite slow, but considering it's an open-air beach spot, it's nice to spend a little more time there.
13/05/2026: It's become a pleasant habit. Excellent food and great service. If the weather's nice, you can eat outside, right on the seafront.

12/04/2026: The pizzas are good; perhaps we would have appreciated a little more toppings and a slightly puffier crust. Otherwise, the delivery was on time and the delivery driver was polite.
08/04/2026: I ordered a pizza for delivery, it was delicious, well cooked, and I spent very little!!
I ordered for 8:45 PM and they arrived half an hour early!!!

02/06/2026: Practically a canteen. The marinades are impossible to mess up, and the rest is a total of eight. The mussels had the small muscles that weren't served, the sole was good, the fried fish was ordinary. The bulk wine was a fuel... if you know how to choose, you can get by... forewarned is forearmed.
01/06/2026: A quaint restaurant with impeccable service. Generous portions and absolutely flavorful dishes. An honorable mention goes to the roasted eel, a truly delicious local specialty. Overall, the price is fair.
Recommended.

28/04/2026: Arriving at a fairly busy time, I was served promptly and courteously. I ordered a Calcutta pizza, a fairly unpretentious flavor, worth trying. The dough and pizza were good, but I wouldn't make the same choice.
A message posted on the wall asks for cash payment, at least up to a certain amount.
23/02/2026: The pizzas are excellent, but the deli counter is also high-quality.
The mixed fried fish days are exceptional.
The Ferrarese-style pie is very good, with good pastry and a tasty filling.

04/03/2026: I'm speechless. I arrived at 12:10 and there were about 10 people. It took them 20 minutes to order... going first to the people who arrived after us. They brought us water and nothing else. After 20 minutes, I asked because I saw they were bringing the dishes to those who arrived after us. They told me... we'll be right there... well, it was 1:00 PM and still nothing. We left... a disgrace. I didn't even eat because I had to get back to work. I'll never set foot in there again.

Macaroni with mantis shrimp and belly pizzaiola style with baked potatoes.
It would have been 5 stars but...
Everything was too salty.
TOO BAD
I assume it was a bad day, but I'll definitely try again.

06/06/2026: A double Vasco concert and Ferrara's restaurants are in a tailspin. Tensions are sky-high and rudeness is everywhere. Not here. The Sophists, perhaps because of their name, keep their cool, manage to be kind, and find a table even for those who haven't booked. The pumpkin cappellacci are exquisite, the tagliata steak is well-done (rare), and the atmosphere in the internal garden is excellent. Kudos to everyone!
14/04/2026: Very spacious place. They welcomed us right away, despite the Easter Monday lunchtime chaos in the city center and the time around 2 PM. The thin, crispy pizza and the typical Ferrarese dishes were delicious; I tried the pasticcio ferrarese. The service was excellent and friendly, prompt, and even friendly. I would return, but I didn't give it a 5 because the pasticcio was perhaps a little on the small side.

14/04/2026: Two of us stopped here for lunch. We were very disappointed with the way the waitress served us. Her rude and arrogant attitude left us speechless. Furthermore, when it came time to pay, she didn't take the business menu price into account, but charged us as if we had ordered à la carte. Definitely a place we won't return to again.

09/04/2026: We witnessed a horrifying scene. We came for an afternoon coffee on the outdoor veranda, and suddenly the bartender approached and scattered large quantities of poisoned grain (a highly poisonous rodenticide, but used against pigeons) not only over the veranda fence but also inside it, where your dogs or children might be. Shocked and alarmed, we asked the bartender for an explanation, and he replied that it was just normal feed used to wean them off the food, so adding to the damage, he was also lying. One word: disgusting.
