25/07/2024: MY COMPANION AND I STOPPED THIS MORNING FOR THE FIRST TIME, EXCELLENT CAPPUCCINO, EXCELLENT SLICE OF RED PIZZA HE CUT IT AND SERVED IT TO ME ON THE CUTTING BOARD, VERY CLEAN AND SCENTED TOILET, BEAUTIFUL LOCATION, THE GIRL AT THE BAR VERY KIND AND SMILING, WE WILL BE BACK AND WE WILL BRING FRIENDS. WELL GOOD KEEP UP LIKE THIS.

24/08/2024: Abbiamo scoperto per caso questo ristorante nei pressi di Ferrara e subito siamo rimasti favorevolmente impressionati dalla cordialità con la quale il proprietario ci ha accolto pur essendo il locale molto affollato. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e competente, il cibo ottimo, cucinato con materie prime di qualità, è arrivato quasi subito e, dulcis in fundo, il conto sorprendentemente basso in confronto ad altri locali di tipologia simile. Bella la location. Locale consigliatissimo
24/08/2024: We discovered this restaurant near Ferrara by chance and were immediately impressed by the friendliness with which the owner welcomed us despite the place being very crowded. The staff was very kind and competent, the food was excellent, cooked with quality raw materials, it arrived almost immediately and, last but not least, the bill was surprisingly low compared to other places of a similar type. The location is beautiful. Highly recommended place

22/06/2024: We went to this historic restaurant in Ferrara for the first time with our little poodle
The reception staff were very kind while the owner, who was also present, struggled to say hello
After us, 4 people arrive, evidently loyal customers, very well received also by the owner this time, who after the pleasantries is quick to bring a bowl of water for the dog
Small lapse in style dear my owner because, given the heat, most likely the little poodle was thirsty too
As for the food, the two first courses, pasticcio Ferrarese (they make it without truffles and I like it with) and passatelli are sufficient
Good cut with a side of potatoes
While charging two, and I mean two slices of aubergine, a slice of tomato, half a spring onion and a spoonful of courgettes, I find it to say the least "exaggerated"
First and last time if nothing else due to the inhospitability

16/08/2024: Today for lunch, 16 August 2024, my wife and I had two pizzas, and I must say that I hadn't eaten such a good pizza in years, a perfect dough, perfectly cooked with its beautiful crust, truly beautiful and delicious.
Well done...I recommend it to everyone.
16/08/2024: I think that catering is a particular job but I found a lack of care towards customers, mostly tourists who they will never see again and therefore "expendable", a very negative experience

22/08/2024: We returned to this restaurant for dinner, but unfortunately the quality of the dishes we ordered was far below our expectations compared to past experiences. Tiny, tasteless, unpresentable mussels, mixed fried calamari and prawns with only 4 prawns (exact number, not approximate). Prices in line with other places on the avenue, but the quality is really poor. The service is good, fast and courteous, but I think it is really necessary to review the quality of the products brought to the table. Very sorry.

07/07/2024: I went with friends and I can say that we ate very well!
We took two platters of cold cuts with cut piadina, really excellent and a generous quantity for only 13 euros.
Then 2 grills at 18 euros each already including side dishes which were special, meat cooked well and of high quality, very tasty.
I would say that the quality/price ratio is top, I will be back to try the pizza by the meter!

For lunch, a fixed price business menu, but with the right quality
Also highly recommended for group lunches and dinners or for events such as confirmations/communions

Stopped for a working lunch, I ate a gramigna and a cutlet that have nothing to envy of a lunch in a restaurant with an à la carte menu... all pleasantly paid for at very honest prices!

06/02/2024: Veramente una bella sorpresa il giro spunciotti. Cibo di qualità a prezzi onesti. La trovo una soluzione molto indovinata per fare assaggiare diverse pietanze ai clienti. Devo tornare molto presto.
21/01/2024: Il locale e' piacevole anche dall'esterno, facilmente rintracciabile perche' si trova nella piazza del paese (e probabilmente amato dai fan di Sgarbi perche' si trova vicinissimo alla casa natale del vate, ora sede della Fondazione Sgarbi) , mentre l'interno e' anche meglio: non grandissimo, ma ben arredato e confortevole, diviso in tre salette distinte. Conviene prenotare, ma, detto questo, l'accoglienza e' gentile e il servizio, come scopriremo poi, preciso e abbastanza veloce. Menu' interessante, che mescola piatti della tradizione locale (veneto-estense?) a classici della cucina del Sud, sia di carne che di pesce; inoltre, e' diviso tra primi, secondi e "spunciotti", cioe' tapas (per usare un termine ormai diffuso) , ovvero mini antipasti da assaggio sfizioso: volendo uno potrebbe sbizzarrirsi con quelli (sono una ventina) , mentre noi -in due- ci limitiamo a un paio di spunciotti a testa, validissimi, per poi passare a due secondi di pesce: baccala' in umido con polenta e polpo croccante con timballo di patate (quest'ultimo e' un prestito da altre zone, nella tradizione locale non c'e') : tutto buono e ben presentato. Con un solo dolce, una bottiglia di vino non ordinario e un amaro arriviamo poco sopra i 40 euro a testa: in altri casi direi caruccio, mentre qui considerando l'accoglienza, lo stile, la volonta' di unire cucina tradizionale e innovazione direi che il prezzo e' giusto.
Cani bene accolti: un valore aggiunto a un locale che gia' si propone bene.
