17/08/2025: The waitress was very rude and completely uninterested. We asked for a few minutes to decide since we had just sat down. After putting down the menus, she began taking orders from other tables, ignoring us. When asked how the buffet worked, whether it included drinks or anything else, she rudely replied, "It works, you just go fill your plate," adding, "If you're ready to order, eh?" She only informed us when we were ordering that the fried food wasn't available during dinner time, as it was a request made at the restaurant. Nice atmosphere, shame about the customer service.

27/12/2025: I chose this bar because it's listed as one of the best in Ferrara. January, cold, I walk about a kilometer just to come here. I enter, say hello, and politely ask if I can use the restroom before breakfast. The calm reply: "We don't have a restroom." Now: I've worked in the restaurant business and I know that a business without restrooms for customers is substandard, to say the least. We're not talking about a detail or extra kindness, but a basic requirement, especially in the dead of winter. The result is that I couldn't even sit down, nor evaluate the breakfast, service, or quality: the lack of formality made it impossible to get to the substance. I'm giving it one star only because the experience stopped there. Too bad: when a place is called "among the best," you expect at least the bare minimum.

23/03/2026: Amed, the great head waiter, is kind and welcoming with everyone and makes you feel at home. Karim, on the other hand, is a great and experienced waiter.

18/10/2025: Currently under renovation due to a change of management, the previous manager never carried out any type of maintenance.

04/05/2025: Non è proprio un ristorante, ma è più di una gastronomia e di un negozio di alimentari. Pochi coperti - difficile trovare posto - ma con un po’ di attesa ci si riesce. Scopri così una cucina che non ti aspetti: curata, rispettosa della tradizione locale, ingredienti di prima qualità. Lo chef e tutto il personale ti fanno sentire come un amico da coccolare.

12/04/2025: Ho finalmente potuto mangiare il gustosissimo pasticcio alla ferrarese dopo aver visto questo locale vincere la puntata di un programma TV (Food Advisor). Erano anni che volevo passarci, ma non ce n’era mai stata l’occasione. Posso dire che ne è davvero valsa la pena.
