02/09/2025: We had dinner the first night we arrived at the residence next door. The staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately I can't say the same about the food... well-presented but a bit bland, and the biggest flaw was the place being infested with mosquitoes. Not only did we spend the evening killing them, but I even found them on my plate from how many there were... I didn't have a great first evening. Personally, I don't think we'll be back.

22/08/2025: The place itself isn't bad, but I certainly wouldn't choose it again. We ordered four pizzas and, while waiting for them, asked for two portions of fries to share. The fries arrived almost raw, having been eaten out of hunger. The pizza is considered as thick as a piadina. So, if you like heartier pizzas, look elsewhere. Two of the pizzas we ordered were seafood ones. Having had excellent ones elsewhere, we decided to try them. Never was a bigger mistake. The fish was still in its shell on the pizza, which, once removed, left a paltry amount of toppings, which, on mine (a white pizza with mozzarella), took away all the mozzarella. They were certainly beautiful to look at, but in reality, they weren't mediocre. The other two pizzas were decent, certainly better than the two with fish. They brought bitters to the neighboring tables at the end of the meal, except for us. I wouldn't have drunk them, but the service should be the same for everyone. To top it off, once we got back, we saw we'd been charged for another bottle of water we hadn't ordered or drunk. €2.50 for a 1-liter bottle of water, unnecessarily charged. We didn't go back because we would have spent it on gas, and honestly, it wasn't worth it. The night after dinner, three out of four people at the dinner felt sick. I don't think it's a coincidence. I'm not giving 1 or 0 stars only because I tried a small portion of the menu.

05/10/2025: We had the crazy idea of ​​ordering a pizza here. I urge anyone reading this review to stay away. We're not here to criticize the pizza's quality, because it's true, it's good, but there are a whole host of reasons why places like this shouldn't exist. First of all, we were warmly invited to pick up our pizzas at 8:00 PM because we'd have to wait after that, but we waited half an hour anyway. While waiting, we had the pleasure of seeing the ingredients being added to the pizzas by hand, without ever cleaning them up. The real surprise, however, came when we got the bill: five takeout pizzas for €71.50. I'm particularly interested in the two Margherita pizzas with their crusts filled with gorgonzola cheese (but can you tell me where the gorgonzola cheese is from the photo?) for €16 each. On the menu, a Margherita pizza costs €7, plus the gorgonzola cheese, which costs €1.50. According to the receipt, the Zola cheese was doubled, but I can't explain why, considering there wasn't even any Zola cheese. That would make us spend €8.50; how they got to €16 remains a mystery. When we asked for an explanation, we were told the stuffed crust costs €5, but I imagine the price is fickle since it's not listed anywhere. Finally, I'll add that the menu on their website isn't up to date; all the prices are higher. We truly felt ripped off...

05/10/2025: It was a pleasant discovery, we had lunch and dinner at this restaurant and it delighted us. It was the first time we went and in this period the food is good, fresh fish and well presented.

30/08/2025: A week ago I went to Bagno Jolly. For four aperitifs, four spaghetti with clams, a liter of wine, two liters of water, three sorbets, and two coffees, we spent €155... The spaghetti was average, good but nothing exceptional... But €22 for spaghetti with clams seems really excessive, considering that in Cervia and Marina Romea the same dish with more clams costs €16... I can't explain such a big difference...

16/08/2025: I was at this place yesterday. We rented sun loungers and an umbrella on the beach for 20 euros. Everything was fine. Then we went to lunch. It was truly awful. We sat in the bar area with two unset tables and dirty ashtrays. No problem for us. We had tagliolini, prosciutto with melon, and a container of chips. Three colas and two beers, and they charged me 78.50 euros. Ridiculous price. I was shocked by the price and went to check the receipt. They added 10% to everything. And to my surprise, they charged an extra 10 euros for table setting and service. Ridiculous!!!! The owner thought this was normal for tourists. I'm sure locals are treated fairly. As a result, we spent the rest of the afternoon buying drinks at the Bagno Onda Blu restaurant next door and went to the beach the next day and had a delicious meal at a reasonable price. Oh yes, the salmon at Jolly Bagno that was mixed with the tagliolini wasn't pink or orange, but dark brown. I didn't eat it. Never again at Jolly Bagno! Be careful with your money and check your bill carefully.

17/08/2025: We spent 3 days in Ferrara during the Ferragosto holiday and decided to enjoy a day at the swimming pool. When we paid for the swimming including chairs and an umbrella. We got to the changing room and realised that the lockers had no key. Went to the reception to ask for keys and were told that we had to buy the padlocks or come with ours. So we bought a padlock. After changing, we went to the swimming pool and were told we couldn't get into the water without swimming caps and we had to buy them at the reception. We had to walk back to the reception to buy. After swimming, I wanted to dry my hair and realised that to use the dryers we needed to have membership card ♦️ to activate the dryers. They fail to realise that not everyone that visits this location is a resident of Ferrara. Some of us are tourists who do not know the rules that apply. So it would have been more helpful if people are told all they need to be told at the reception immediately they come in, so that they can pay for it all, once and for all. Or they can decide not to use the service. In all, we really regretted the service and most especially, it is not an inclusive service.

28/03/2025: Impasto leggero e digeribile, sapore eccezionale fino all’ultimo boccone… una delle mie preferite in assoluto! Anche i dolci sono deliziosi, perfetto per concludere il pasto in bellezza. Il locale è ampio, ma nei momenti di punta può risultare un po’ rumoroso: se cercate un’atmosfera più tranquilla, meglio evitare il sabato sera. Personale gentile e disponibile, servizio attento. Il conto è in linea con la qualità offerta. Super consigliato!

12/10/2025: This place is wonderful. The staff are Neapolitan, and their influence shines through in the food and service. The price is reasonable, the food is excellent, and the portions are truly generous. It's a shame we discovered them on the last night of the season!

19/09/2025: Terrible experience. We paid for a mozzarella as if it were a piece of bread, three or four slices of prosciutto that melted in your mouth... the bill was very high. We ordered a water and paid for two, and we ordered a liqueur at the end of the meal and paid for two!!! I will never return to this place!!!!

12/10/2025: The staff are friendly and cheerful, despite the café being always crowded. A must-visit in Ferrara for a sweet or savory breakfast. Every croissant is fresh and delicious. They also have a wide selection of savory options. Don't miss the amberjack and risino!

Prices are hidden behind a sign, out of proportion (€16 for a sandwich, despite the supposed quality, is too much), and are only shown after you ask for food, with a distant and unfriendly welcome. A few steps away, however, in the nearby gallery, you'll find authentic delis: true quality, a friendly owner, and fair prices. An experience that demonstrates how hospitality always makes the difference. Good luck to the owners.
