14/12/2025: I showed up at 12:30 without a reservation. I was on my bike, and I asked if they could serve me something to eat. They very kindly sat me down and took my reservation right away (ten other people had arrived). I had lunch in half an hour. Strozzapreti with crab (good but not exceptional) and fried Paranza (I think the best I've ever eaten).
I recommend it to anyone who happens to be near the valley.
I'll definitely be back.

01/11/2025: The problem with this restaurant is the person at the cash register trying to make ends meet.
Let me explain: 1 carbonara, 1 grilled turkey, 1 mixed salad, 2 quartini, and 2 coffees from the daily menu = €40.
The cashier manages to turn a (half-daily menu) into a full à la carte menu. He should be thankful that I was distracted and on an international conference call while I was paying, but I'll definitely never return. Always be wary of the midday scammers.

05/11/2025: I stayed on the outdoor veranda and didn't see the restaurant. I ate a delicious pizza with friends I hadn't seen in a while. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill!

12/09/2025: Wide variety of excellent quality food, super fast service, I love having an aperitif in the evening or even dinner, excellent value.
I love going there at sunset, but keep in mind that cargo ships occasionally pass through, with pros and cons.

06/12/2025: Renovated and welcoming place, service is disappointing. I walked in at 5:15 PM and grabbed a table, only to be immediately told I had to vacate it by 6:30 PM because it was booked. I just wanted a hot chocolate. I waited a whopping 20 minutes for one. At least it was good, and I was on time to free up the table. I highly recommend changing some of the staff's methods; the rest of the place is very nice and welcoming.
05/12/2025: The place is clean, spacious, pleasant, and well-heated.
Fast service, quality food.
Prices are above average. The staff lack empathy. They're short on smiles and are intolerant of any questions.
Failed for courtesy in a welcoming city like Parma.

28/09/2025: We went to this place last night for dinner. We wanted passatelli, but they were out of stock, so the waiter offered us sea bass-filled ravioli. We accepted, but the quality was poor and the price was decidedly exorbitant. I pointed this out, and the waiter himself admitted that they were, in fact, mass-produced. They offered us coffee to make up for the poor quality, but we won't be returning. Today we had lunch with generously sized first courses of excellent-quality fish for the same price at another place...

My only complaint: during our visit, the anchovies at the "Bella Napoletana" were unfortunately full of tough bones, so much so that we had to leave them on our plate. We hope this was an isolated incident, as overall the experience was positive.
