08/05/2025: We went to the restaurant as a group of 7 people but ended up not eating there. As soon as we were to sit down, we were told that since we were taking up about half the restaurant, we would be required to leave a minimum 20% tip. This demand felt completely unreasonable, especially considering we hadn’t even received any service yet, and considering this, it feels like they were going to give us the food for free and the prices were relatively high. Ironically, each of us was planning to order a full meal plus wine and drinks— we were ready to eat — and we were filling the restaurant at 2:30 PM. Instead of appreciating that, we were met with excessive conditions. Good luck filling the place at that time with this kind of attitude.

08/05/2025: Words don't do justice to the wonderful vibe Antonio and Brigid have created at Posides. They display a contagious passion for food (Antonio is the chef), wine (Brigid is the sommelier), and atmosphere (they are the most welcoming hosts). The restaurant offers panoramic views of Positano and rewards the ascent from the town square below. We enjoyed fresh local seafood, a refreshing salad, and a nicely paired local Campania wine (thanks, Brigid). Positano has many riches to attract visitors and Posides is one of the top for me.

24/04/2025: Honestly, this was an amazing find for dinner. The staff here were so incredibly friendly and helpful. We were blown away by the food. The spaghetti sauce was so delicious. We had an amazing non-traditional tiramisu dessert. I would definitely come back. The atmosphere was very upscale modern, with indoor and outdoor seating.

27/01/2025: The most amazing hotel in Positano, Italy. Its location is absolutely perfect. It’s in the heart of Positano, and the direct walkway to the beach. But when you walk into the gardens of hotel, you can no longer hear the noise or see the tourist. The rooms are gorgeous and their service is excellent. They have a morning buffet style breakfast. I am not someone who eats at buffets but this was one of the most magnificent spreads for breakfast. There are also staff to bring you drinks or anything else you may need during is time. There is a restaurant at the hotel. Food is great and easy to get seated at as well. We also rented a scooter, and they let us parking it in their private lot for free. We were able to access it whenever we needed and they always had a guard at the gate. I will only return to this hotel for future trips to Positano.

30/04/2025: We are pure vegetarians and visited this place because we were told they serve veg food. We had no idea that it comes with a side dish of rudeness. 1. The staff who was extremely friendly with the locals, treated us like we were asking to eat for free. They completely ignored us as we were indians and it was really evident 2. The food was below average, total of 3 vegetarian options. The best thing I tasted here was the water 3. The food and the service was super late, we missed our ferry to capri because they just wouldn’t bring our food -We were not rude, greeted everyone with a smile and well dressed so I couldn’t pinpoint why we were treated that way - All in all, I wish I rather ate raw lemons for lunch, would’ve been less bitter than this experience

27/04/2025: A wedding favor immersed in chaotic Positano. Good food, high price, but average for places in the town, we certainly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of the owners and the staff who served us. Four-legged friends are welcome.

21/04/2025: Comida muy normalita, precios muy elevados, el 4,7 de tripadvisor es mentira ,lo único bueno las vistas oero en Positano casi todos los restaurantes tienen buenas vistas .Caro carisimo para la comida , las copas un engaño Proseco normal 16 euros una media copa y un vino blanco 15 euros tambien muy normalito por no decir malo.Me he tomado un Club Sándwich pésima calidad para 26 euros, este sitio no es recomendable comida normal para un precio muy elevado yo diria una estafa

24/04/2025: I spent a whole day in Positano and wanted to find one of the most interesting restaurants possible. And I found this restaurant after the reviews on Google. I was very impressed by the view, and based on recommendations from people about the quality of the food, I said I'd give it a try. This location is absolutely sensational. You have a landscape that I have rarely seen. It is an absolute delight to have lunch or dinner in this location with a view over the whole of Positano. The location is strategic, the location is a 10 and the food is particularly good. I started with a grilled octopus and I can tell you very honestly that it was the best octopus I have eaten in my life. It actually melted in your mouth, it was so tender. Then we continued with seafood spaghetti, which was also a super tasty portion. And in the end, I was recommended a dessert, specific to the Neapolitan area. I don't remember the name, but it was some kind of cream combined with some croquettes and ice cream on top. The dessert was absolutely sensational. I also tasted a glass of local white wine, Italian production, which I really liked. I actually have no words to describe. Everything was wonderful. The service was top 10. The waiter Francesco, a very polite top 10 boy, presented me with all the requested information, made recommendations as per the book. Hats off! To make sure I get a good seat with a view, I had to book in advance on their website, because I didn't want to wait in case it was crowded at the time I was coming, and I was charged 40 euros to confirm the reservation. This amount is used as credit in the consumption at the table, so no money is lost. If you can't make it, you must notify at least 24 hours in advance to have it turned into a gift card, so don't waste your money by announcing at least 24 hours before your visit. For this reason, 40 euros were deducted from the invoice because an advance was paid. I recommend! TOP LOCATION! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍

27/04/2025: I went to Ristorante D’Aiello with my family in April 2025. Our dinner was excellent and the staff were great. The restaurant has an excellent location and atmosphere. My wife and son absolutely loved the Gnocchi special in a Genovese lamb ragu. We will definitely be going back next time we visit Positano. Sono stato al Ristorante D'Aiello con la mia famiglia nell'aprile del 2025. La cena è stata eccellente e il personale è stato fantastico. Il ristorante ha una posizione e un'atmosfera eccellenti. Mia moglie e mio figlio hanno adorato la specialità di gnocchi al ragù di agnello alla genovese. Torneremo sicuramente la prossima volta che visiteremo Positano.

01/05/2025: Great food and service here at Donna Rosa. Best truffle pasta we’ve ever had, cannoli was excellent, and the sea bass was also amazing. Only let down was the bag of bread. Would suggest to serve something that compliments the rest of the food in terms of quality.

01/05/2025: ALTAMENTE CONSIGLIATO DA ME CHE ABITO A POSITANO! La mia tappa fissa quasi ogni mattina dopo una rilassante passeggiata. Oltre alla bellezza, pulizia accurata del locale, lo staff è unico. La vista incantevole tra l’altro! Adoro Erika, la titolare e ha sempre un sorriso. Cappuccino con caffè alto livello e latte super buono. Ci sono molti tipi di lievitati eccellenti la mattina: Cornetto vuoto, marmellata, Nutella, Cinnamon rolls, fagottini di vari tipi, banana bread e biscotti vari. Sotto mezzogiorno adoro mangiare ( quando devo lavorare e non ho tempo ) un ottimo panino con i pomodori secchi, burrata e crudo. Non posso non menzionare i loro dolci inimitabili: Crostatina di frutta, profiteroles, tiramisù, delizia al limone e la loro mega galattica cheesecake! Un’altra cosa che mi piace da impazzire è la loro crema di caffè unica. Per chi ama l’aperitivo al tramonto, qui dovete venire e non ve ne pentirete! Che dire… non vedo l’ora di venirvi a trovare come sempre. Avanti sempre così ♥️

27/04/2025: The food was absolutely delicious. Our service was fantastic. We had that delicious pasta and a margarita pizza. We ordered the veggie plate and put that on the pizza and it was out of this world. I also had their house salad. It was huge and delicious. Their homemade bread was fantastic. We also shared one of their made in-house teramisu and it was so delicious .At the end of our meal they surprised us with a limoncello shot. It was so good and they told us they make it there. It's homemade. The cloth napkins and tablecloths and the beautiful view creates a beautiful ambiance. 5 stars, and a million! I also have to compliment the restaurant for providing a shuttle service that picked this up from our hotel. He was a marvelous driver navigating the narrow roads.

28/04/2025: Beautiful view! The service is also amazing. We were leaving late and planning to get a taxi to Praiano where we were staying but there were no taxis available, so we decided to walk to La sponda bus stop but when they heard us, they asked where we were headed and offered to drive us to the bus stop, complimentary of the restaurant! It was such a kind gesture and we really appreciated it after our long day! I would highly recommend!!!

22/04/2025: Highly recommended. Excellent food quality and service. Pizzas, pasta, and seafood were amazing. We went twice to this place. Very reasonable prices for Positano compared to restaurants close to the port area.

07/05/2025: Nice atmosphere. During our walk we went in for breakfast, and since we liked it we returned hours later. Variety on the menu. There is also a buffet at breakfast.
