03/12/2024: GAVE ME FOOD FLASHBACKS. I am a picky eater and was hesitantly convinced into ordering the traditional 5 course meal though I am not a salad, soup, or desert person. When I tell you this was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in life?! For every single dish and course my partner and I ate every crumb and left empty dishes. The food was amazing and even with being very clearly young tourists the service was so nice and accommodating. Very fancy restaurant with a beautiful view into the kitchen. It’s been a few days and my partner and I are still talking about how delicious it was. We left completely full as well! Very much worth the €70pp. Can’t recommend enough to anyone in the area. Worth a long drive even!

08/12/2024: The restaurant is high up on the mountain, and our driver (not arranged by the restaurant as some of the reviews state) knew the roads well and got us there quickly and safely. We were seated in a smaller dining room off to the side where it was really quiet. Would’ve preferred to sit in the main dining area. White table cloth atmosphere. Food was delicious, standouts include the lavender panko crusted scallops, sea bass, black truffle tagliolini (a bit under seasoned for my preference, but great truffle flavor), sorbetto di limone. And for my night cap they poured a generous 4 finger pour of 15 year scotch! Service was attentive, but not overbearing.

17/08/2024: We had such a wonderful experience at Il Tridente Positano! Our view was unparalleled and our servers were very nice and professional, their wine and food recommendations were delicious! We celebrated our honeymoon there, and although I initially hadn’t been able to book the table I wanted, I signed up for the waitlist and got contacted immediately. I absolutely recommend this restaurant in your upcoming visit to Positano!

14/08/2024: It was quiet because it was close to the accommodation, so I went in, but perhaps because Koreans frequent it, the chef greeted me in Korean and the food was good :) Be sure to try the French toast👍

14/08/2024: Amazing restaurant. I had the rib eye steak and it was so good, balanced flavour + the best Tiramisu so far that I tried in Italy. 10/10

30/08/2024: Food was delicious and extremely fresh, I discovered new combinations of ingredients and finally surprising flavor. Service was excellent too, nicest people in the town. We came twice. Thanks for a beautiful experience and congratulations for doing great things that clearly you know to do very well.

30/08/2024: Hace años que he recorrido el mundo en busca de un buen restaurant, que te sorprenda con los platos y adicionalmente te atiendan como a un amigo. Sin duda he descubierto un lugar maravilloso con una carta impactante y un personal de primer nivel. Si vienes a Positano y no pruebas esta experiencia asombrosa, te arrepentirás. Gracias a una de la chef Susy por el mejor plato de pez que he probado en los últimos 44 años.( avocado forcito di pesce) lo máximo .

13/08/2024: The location is very central in Positano and the hotel has a parking garage with good guarded service. From the hotel you can easily reach the beach, shopping and many restaurants. When we checked in, the Guest Relations Manager gave us a very friendly welcome. While we were able to enjoy our welcome drink, check-in at reception was carried out very quickly. We were shown around the hotel by a very nice lady and everything important was explained to us. The room was very spacious and had a small garden. The air conditioning was a dream. The facilities left nothing to be desired and we really enjoyed our stay. The service at the bar was friendly and very accommodating. At breakfast we had a wide selection of sweets, sausage, cheese and egg dishes.

29/07/2024: Al Palazzo is set in a beautiful courtyard with greenery and flowers setting the perfect atmosphere for a lovely dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. All dishes were enjoyed. The smoked flavor of the tuna carpaccio was unlike any we have had. It was just what we hoped for to begin our meal. The eggplant main dish was tender and perfect for a lighter lunch option. My oldest son enjoyed the claims and pasta. My youngest raved about his burger. The lemon sorbet was a refreshing treat at the end of a delcious meal. One order of sorbet could easily be shared as it is three nice size scoops. Al Palazzo receives praise in all areas as the atmosphere, service, and food were all top notch.

06/08/2024: I visited a couple of nights ago for my first dinner in Italy and this restaurant has set a high standard. The staff's attentiveness to customise my requested dish made our experience an unforgettable dining visit. The service was incredible (special thank you to Mario and Roberto). Each dish was made to perfection.

01/08/2024: Next 2 is some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had, I may put it on my Mount Rushmore of restaurants. The presentation is immaculate, and Mario explained every dish with detail. This may be deserving of a Michelin star, and If google provided a 6 star option I would give it one!

25/08/2024: Great casual spot for dinner. They provided shuttle service was greatly appreciated. The food was tasty but don't expect fine dining. We were a little disappointed in the wine selection but ended up getting a nice price mid-ranged bottle of white that we enjoyed. I was expecting more child-friendly options on the menu, but they were able to make accommodations for us once we asked.

11/08/2024: Extraordinary! Highly recommended! I ate here with my daughters in 2022 and made certain our Italian driver Pasquale went out of our way to return, with my daughter Andrea and family. Once again we had a table next to a window with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Get there early if you want a table by a window. By the way Pasquale is also fantastic.:YourItaliandriver.com

27/08/2024: Wonderful, famil- run boutique hotel. Breakfast: served whenever you want, in your room - order the night before (large menu to choose from). Fresh baked croissants were amazing. Location: high up at street level, which also gives a jaw dropping view. You can take either the road or stairs to walk down to the beach etc. Taxis are also very easy to find for flat rate of 35-40 euro per ride. We were traveling with a baby and were impressed that they had both a pack and play and high chair in our room for us.

08/06/2024: 4 different hotels for us on this trip and this place has the most kind and genuine staff we encountered. Great location (it matters in this town), great views, extremely accommodating staff - highly recommended. Pro tip: the concierge are locals and are extremely knowledgeable with tours and best ways to get around so pick their brains before booking tours. Nitpick for the staff: our washroom smelled like a wet cloth, not sure where it came from.

03/11/2024: We had appetizers and pizzas and found everything excellent. The prices and the kindness of the staff are also excellent.

25/10/2024: The pizza is good and at a fair price. The mixed grill with swordfish and sea bass is also good. A little outside of Positano.

28/08/2024: "ohiamá" non è un semplice ristorante, ohimá è una filosofia ben precisa, è una storia che Giulia racconta sospinta dall' entusiasmo e dall' amore, lo stesso che nutre per il marito Chef, la maiuscola è d'obbligo in questi casi, Luigi. Forse la chiave di tutto sta proprio in una scelta a mio avviso inconscia ma che tutto racconta di questo splendido ristorante. Parto con il dire che ohimá precedente non era un ristorante ma era un atelier della madre dello chef che aveva al piano interrato il laboratorio dove cuciva, al pian terreno l' esposizione e la vendita ed aveva adibito il piano superiore a piccola abitazione poiché, trascorrendo gran parte del tempo in negozio, poteva cosi avere i figli sempre sotto controllo. E quale è il fulcro di una casa mediterranea se non la cucina? Così Luigi ha scelto di adibire il piano alto del ristorante a cucina, una cucina straordinaria, tutta in vetrata, dove con grazia e coordinazione si muove tutta la brigata. Meravigliosa dunque la vista dei commensali che siedono ai tavoli del piano superiore che possono così ammirare la maestria di Luigi. Al pian terreno il locale prosegue nel suo inconfondibile stile moderno ma senza risultare asettico, al contrario estremamente caldo ed elegante. Notevole anche il terrazzo esterno che affaccia sulla piazza dei Mulini. Giungendo alla cucina che dire ... Estasi... Scegliamo il menù degustazione, chiedendo se possibile stare su una linea di pesce e da lì inizia l' incanto. 5 portate più uno stuzzichino iniziale ed un sorbetto aventi come tratto comune la delicatezza. Una delicatezza di chi sa togliere il superfluo, lavorare sull'essenziale senza mai e poi mai rinunciare al gusto. La vera magia di Luigi è proprio questa, sa fare della delicatezza un tratto in grado di rimanere nella memoria, così a Bergamo sogneremo il fiore di zucca ripieno e la millefoglie di zucchine, il tonno marinato nell' anguria, scottato ed il gazpacho di pomodori, la pasta e patate con il ragù superbo di totani locali, come la ricciola in panko, il sorbetto ed il dolce di chiusura. Degna di un così straordinario chef è Giulia, la moglie, che sa essere accogliente, garbata e fine oltre che professionale. Questi ragazzi sono già stellati a mio avviso ma consiglio vivamente alla guida Michelin di andare e toccare con mano, ma ancor più con palato.
