13/02/2026: I've known this place forever, yet I'd only eaten there once, a long time ago. Today I'm back with great pleasure. The food is excellent. The artichokes alla giudia are excellent when in season...I've only eaten them this good in Rome. The puntarelle are delicious, the best ever. And then there are many other things that are good. There's a good selection of wines and the price is more than reasonable. The staff are very kind and professional. From now on, we'll be back as soon as we can.

09/11/2025: We had dinner with friends at Il FaTo restaurant. The welcome and location were impeccable, not to mention the excellent food that chef Tommy expertly crafted and enhanced. I tried a two-flavor pizza with incredible pairings. Every bite was delicious, and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. We ordered a platter of cured meats and cheeses, all of the highest quality, and not to mention the sliced ​​beef with porcini mushrooms. What can I say... it was incredibly tender and the mushrooms were delicious. All accompanied by an excellent local wine. Finally, we had dessert. And I really enjoyed the Nutella and biscuit cheesecake they made. Super tasty. I invite you to stop by FaTo for lunch or dinner, because it's well worth it. Thank you, Tommy, for delighting us with your amazing dishes. We'll definitely be back to try the first courses, which I'm sure will be impeccable. Highly recommended if you want to spend time at a table with excellent food and good wine.

15/02/2026: I went to this restaurant for Valentine's Day dinner, expecting a relaxing and romantic evening, but unfortunately, the experience was a disaster on almost every front. The start was immediately discouraging: we had to wait over an hour just for the first courses to arrive. An interminable and unacceptable wait, especially on an evening like this. I have to be honest: when they finally arrived, the first courses were excellent, well-cooked, and flavorful. It was the only positive note of the evening and the only saving grace. However, after making us wait so long, the service became paradoxically frenetic and terrible. The waitress seemed to be in an unjustified hurry: as soon as we finished eating, she would snatch our plates from under our noses and take them to the kitchen, even though there were still other things to eat at the table. We felt pressured, as if after making us wait, they wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. The final blow came with the sliced ​​meat. Unacceptable conditions: completely burned on the outside, unpleasant to eat due to the bitter taste, and cold on the inside. The chocolate cake served at the end was literally hotter than the meat itself.

20/02/2026: A good restaurant serving both meat and seafood dishes, with rustic yet friendly and efficient service. We arrived early and were served in a reasonable amount of time, but after a while the place filled up and they struggled a bit. The gnocchi with ragù were very good, with various pieces of meat, served in a small pan, and the ziti alla Genovese, grated with the classic grater, were also good, and even had a little meat, which isn't always available elsewhere. The homemade croquettes were decent. The desserts weren't homemade, but they chose the pastry very well: the lemon delicacy was better than some we've had on the Amalfi Coast, and the cheesecake was also good. The only downside was the croquettes, which were listed as €5.50 and were actually a full-sized. In any case, for what was quoted plus a bottle of mineral water, it was about €45, which I'd say was more than fair. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area; we also saw some lovely seafood dishes, which we'll try on a future occasion.

16/02/2026: On Carnival Sunday, we went to lunch at Orlando in Rotondi, following a friend's recommendation. The restaurant is spacious, the ambiance is simple, and the service was excellent. The first courses were delicious, both the ziti alla genovese and the gnocchi with sauce, enriched with meatballs, pork rinds, and tarachelle. The "padellaccia," a pork stew with potatoes and pickled peppers, a typical winter dish from the Avellino area, was flavorful and generous. The desserts were delicious, creamy and delicate. The bill was in line with the service.

02/12/2025: I've been there years ago... and I can only say that I can confirm that the food is nothing short of excellent. The place is clean... the staff is extremely kind and helpful... the specialty is the food... My only regret is that I don't live closer to come here often. Excellent experience! The orecchiette were spectacular, the liver was delicious... I even treated myself to a dessert... pan di stelle... very good. I can't find any faults, there aren't any. If you ever find yourself in Atripalda... come here! You won't regret it...

08/12/2025: Chosen for lunch after reading about it in Luciano Pignataro's column, it immediately lived up to expectations. The location is modern and elegant, with a refined table setting. The wait staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The truffle-filled egg in its nest was fabulous, as was the potato millefeuille. Followed by tagliolini with a generous portion of white truffle and perfectly glazed ravioli del plin. Finally, we indulged in the duck in the woods, a bold yet perfectly balanced flavor. The desserts were delicious, and the bill was fair. Highly recommended.

03/02/2026: Super fresh fish, but far from the sea. Sometimes it takes very little to find excellent quality seafood, without necessarily eating in a seaside location. This is the case at the Ddoie Aulive restaurant, which, by an oxymoron in its name, promises a meat-based menu, but in reality, seafood is the main focus. Located near the Martiri neighborhood, the location isn't overly spartan, but rather geared toward a classy atmosphere. The house appetizer is a riot of flavors: the shrimp peeled themselves, oysters, prawns, and excellent bruschetta with anchovies: all of the highest quality. Moving on to the first courses, ravioli stuffed with scallops and exceptional prawns. The only thing that didn't convince me was the sea bream, but that was my personal preference. The selection of vintage prosecco is also good. Highly recommended.

04/01/2026: Excellent food, unsatisfactory service because water bottles were always empty, food was delivered to the table and placed in places where there were no people, wine ordered but never arrived and above all the waiter with long hair was very gruff and unsuitable for the chosen environment.

26/08/2025: A very intimate restaurant, suitable for lunches or dinners for groups or couples. The dishes are generous and delicious, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The chef is truly friendly and approachable, ready to accommodate any guest's needs (even those who don't eat fish, by customizing the menu, despite it being a restaurant specializing in seafood). For better organization and guaranteed availability, I recommend mentioning when booking if you have any guests who don't eat fish, so you can be sure of an alternative. Dishes may vary seasonally, so much so that I'd love to return at a different time of year to try other dishes. The desserts are exquisite, homemade. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

08/02/2026: We made a reservation for dinner with friends. We sat down at 9:00 PM, and after about half an hour we asked to take our order because no one on the staff would take us into consideration. We only ordered pizza, no appetizer. The first pizzas arrived at 10:50 PM (two of which were raw). I don't think it's normal to make a table wait that long, especially if there's a young person there.
