La Molara In Mercogliano

We had lunch at this restaurant just today, and it's not our first time there. I have no complaints about the authenticity and quality of the products, but honestly, I'm concerned about the wait time. Having two small children, we weren't able to get a second course because the little girl was sleepy, and almost an hour passed between the appetizer and the main course. Furthermore, they've raised their prices, in my opinion, excessively recently. You can't afford to spend €120 on a shared appetizer, two first courses, two desserts, a fusilli with tomato sauce, and a cutlet for the little girl. Plus, the place is excessively noisy.

Simply anonymous and more expensive. I can't find an answer to why I'd go back. The place is clean. The furnishings are a little dated but everything is tidy. The staff is friendly and then... Nothing. If I were to go with a friend to make an impression, it's not the right place. With children, the play area is poor. With family and friends, nothing special. The menu is expensive in some ways. For example, a half-liter bottle of house wine costs 10 euros. Are you kidding? For 20 euros (the same price) you can choose from a good wine list. And this price-to-offer ratio is spread across the entire menu. There's no dish that I'll talk about with friends or that will make me want to return. With that in mind, they're anonymous and don't make themselves remembered. If you can eat outside (given the few tables available) and on the right day, you can go home in a good mood with the feeling of having spent more than you expected. I'll leave the judgment to you... But I don't see a reason to go back, but I wouldn't absolutely advise against it either.

A beautiful place surrounded by nature, with a children's play area (slide and swings). They also set up tables outside, weather permitting... The cuisine, traditional and varied, is very, very good, with top-quality products, all expertly prepared... you can taste it!! Exquisite desserts with delicious hazelnuts, and a super ricotta and strawberry dessert!! Attentive and fast service, with great customer service. We'll be back, we promised ourselves!

A welcoming place, with well-balanced flavors, even for the more elaborate dishes. Prices are within expectations. A lovely, relaxing Sunday.

The owner is cheerful and knowledgeable in the kitchen, generous with creativity and menu suggestions. Dishes that showcase the local area and tradition, with imaginative combinations. An experience not to be missed, in an enchanting and evocative setting.

I've been meaning to go to La Molara Restaurant for a while, and I finally did. The experience exceeded all expectations. The flavors are authentic, expressing the local area without artifice, with a cuisine that focuses on quality ingredients and attention to detail. The staff is kind and welcoming, instantly putting you at ease and accompanying your meal with professionalism and warmth. The food is simply superb: well-executed dishes, generous portions, and a perfect balance between tradition and contemporary flavors. I'll also add a personal detail: La Molara is one of those places that makes you want to return, because it combines good food, a sincere atmosphere, and a sense of authenticity that is increasingly rare these days.

We had lunch at this rustic inn today, and everything was delicious. From the service to the authenticity of the dishes, there's nothing to say, except that there are few compliments. We were completely captivated. We recommend it if we ever have the opportunity to return.
