27/11/2025: I am adjusting my overall rating to 1 star due to the owner’s response below. The service rating is now 0 stars, which lowers the overall rating. A restaurant owner should be cautious about assuming that a customer and/or their “country of origin” are inherently ignorant about other cultures’ foods.
I tried to be polite in my honest feedback by stating that the dish was not to my liking because it was dry and that the pasta and truffles were both hard. This apparently led the owner to profile me as some ignorant outsider. So, let me be a bit more comprehensive in my descriptions. I will also add that not only was my pasta dish terribly dry, it was bland and lacked the classic intense, earthy, and umami flavor one expects from truffles.
The owner is incorrect in the assertion that truffles cannot be hard. Truffles can be hard for a number of reasons. Perhaps the truffles were either harvested immaturely or were past their prime. Perhaps they were simply low quality truffles. Improper storage can also lead to loss of quality, resulting in the truffles becoming hard.
The owner is also incorrect in stating that the dish was “creamy” in any sense. It was not.
I am also well aware of “al dente” pasta and perhaps the “homemade tagliolini” at one point was cooked “al dente”, but when it arrived at our table the pasta was anything but “al dente”. The entire dish tasted like it had been prepared an hour or more earlier and left to sit somewhere waiting to be served. Nothing about the dish tasted freshly prepared.
The fact that we each sampled the other’s dishes is completely irrelevant and an absurd thing for the owner to even say. Why would a restaurant offer a dish that has to be quickly gobbled to maintain any semblance of palatability?
We left the restaurant with a sense that we would return, but now we will not.

Hi, thanks for your review. I remember you were there well. There were two of you, and you ate the two first courses. Probably, in your country of origin, little is known about truffles. Let me explain that truffles are a hypogeal mushroom, and they can't be hard. Unlike other mushrooms, they don't contain water, so the dish is creamy but without excessive liquid. I also noticed that you split the two dishes, letting time pass. Obviously, ravioli, topped with artichoke sauce, can be eaten very slowly, but a dish like truffles doesn't allow for much calm. As for the hard pasta, you ate homemade tagliolini. Wonder if it's the flour, which is excellent quality. I would add that in Italy, pasta is always eaten al dente. 😀. Best regards.

My husband got ravioli, which were very good. I got a pasta with truffles that was not to my liking. It was unpleasantly dry and both the pasta and the truffles were hard. Service was good. Atmosphere was cozy and clean.

17/11/2025: We went to this place for a birthday, we had 2 starters, 5 first courses and 4 second courses, 4 waters and a 300ml bottle of rosé wine! Let's start with the appetizer which, besides being very good and varied, is also very cheap. We were served different types, from veal with tuna sauce, to maritozzo, to boiled meatballs (my favorites). For the first courses, we chose 3 Genovese dishes: a pacchero with potatoes and anduja and a plate of buttons with ragù, the best of which were definitely the buttons. Then the pasta and potatoes were good, even if the anduja wasn't very present either in appearance or flavor. The Genovese wasn't the best I've ever eaten, nor the worst. In our opinion, it had too much sweetness and a bitter aftertaste. The meat wasn't very tender, it was a bit dry in the shredded pieces, and then it had a sandy consistency on the palate. The sauce wasn't smooth. For the second courses, I took 2 cheeks, which in my opinion was the best dish, even if the meat was slightly too stupid. The saffron puree was delicious, not the usual consistency of a classic puree but more like a cream, smooth and velvety. Enriched with saffron and the brown stock of the meat, truly exceptional, the Milanese cutlet was good, not up to the cheek level, the meat was too thick, the resulting cooking was uneven, some spots were undercooked, the breading was perfect, made with panko or with a coarse-grained homemade breadcrumbs, dry and tasty frying even if not done in clarified butter as tradition dictates! The cutlet is also not cheap compared to other preparations, such as the classic Milanese (which in Milan are much more expensive), but the portion is generous, excellent for 2 more people. It comes with a side of baked potatoes, very good! The strong point, in addition to a refined cuisine that seeks to be a bridge between traditional dishes and innovative cuisine with a philosophy that points towards starred cuisine, is the truly starred staff, truly professional, present and attentive! Definitely a place to return to. The prices are quite reasonable, but I think the €50 menu with a mix of appetizers, a choice of first and second courses is way too good, given the high quality of the ingredients and the preparation! Oh, and I forgot to mention the homemade bread, which is truly delicious, the Neapolitan taralli breadsticks, and the extra virgin olive oil—another Michelin-starred experience!

19/07/2025: Only one word to describe this experience...horrible. There were 11 of us, served 2-3 times at a time, terrible food. The wine was very warm, we asked for ice, which was brought after 30 minutes. Not only did our table complain, other tables decided to leave.
Anyway, the appetizer lasted an hour and a half, my wife was served after an hour and 20 minutes, the waiters were inexperienced, I'm not going to comment on them but on the incompetent manager, I complained to him, he was sorry... but he didn't do anything more than that.
We paid a bill of 490.00 euros.
We also paid for the liqueurs... it's not for the 5-6 euros per liqueur, at least for all the unpleasant things
that happened shouldn't have been counted. I forgot p.s. Let's not talk about the meat.
I think I paid 80 euros per kilo Irish, if I'm not mistaken. It arrived raw, not rare. We asked for a griddle... and one arrived for three steaks... imagine that.
Anyway, change your itinerary... this place should be closed due to the service, the food, the cistus, and the unprofessional behavior.

Antipasto con crocchè, frittatina di pasta e montanarina, scazzuoppoli con sughetto fresco, assaggio di pizze di vari gusti.
Servizio ai tavoli veloce, personale gentile e professionale.
Prezzo giusto e conveniente per la qualità eccellente dei prodotti.
Ritornero certamente, anche per assaggiare altre pietanze.
Consigliatissimo.

01/08/2025: My wife and I were Franco's guests for lunch, as we will soon have the pleasure of hosting a reception at his premises. The restaurant is easily accessible and conveniently located, offering a stunning view and a relaxing poolside setting. The atmosphere is generally pleasant and the staff are attentive. During lunch, we felt privileged by both the owner and the waiters. Particular attention was paid to both the promptness of the service and the selection of dishes. Each course was generous and delicious, with a blend of flavors pleasing to the palate and perfectly balanced. The red wine offered was very good, drinks were always chilled at the table, and the waitresses were courteous in providing excellent service.
Despite our excellent relationship with Franco, the quality of the food and the skill in managing the restaurant are undeniable.
Recommended for any type of event, as the owner will certainly know how to accommodate any request.
