17/11/2025: We went to this place for a birthday, we had 2 starters, 5 first courses and 4 second courses, 4 waters and a 300ml bottle of rosé wine! Let's start with the appetizer which, besides being very good and varied, is also very cheap. We were served different types, from veal with tuna sauce, to maritozzo, to boiled meatballs (my favorites). For the first courses, we chose 3 Genovese dishes: a pacchero with potatoes and anduja and a plate of buttons with ragù, the best of which were definitely the buttons. Then the pasta and potatoes were good, even if the anduja wasn't very present either in appearance or flavor. The Genovese wasn't the best I've ever eaten, nor the worst. In our opinion, it had too much sweetness and a bitter aftertaste. The meat wasn't very tender, it was a bit dry in the shredded pieces, and then it had a sandy consistency on the palate. The sauce wasn't smooth. For the second courses, I took 2 cheeks, which in my opinion was the best dish, even if the meat was slightly too stupid. The saffron puree was delicious, not the usual consistency of a classic puree but more like a cream, smooth and velvety. Enriched with saffron and the brown stock of the meat, truly exceptional, the Milanese cutlet was good, not up to the cheek level, the meat was too thick, the resulting cooking was uneven, some spots were undercooked, the breading was perfect, made with panko or with a coarse-grained homemade breadcrumbs, dry and tasty frying even if not done in clarified butter as tradition dictates! The cutlet is also not cheap compared to other preparations, such as the classic Milanese (which in Milan are much more expensive), but the portion is generous, excellent for 2 more people. It comes with a side of baked potatoes, very good! The strong point, in addition to a refined cuisine that seeks to be a bridge between traditional dishes and innovative cuisine with a philosophy that points towards starred cuisine, is the truly starred staff, truly professional, present and attentive! Definitely a place to return to. The prices are quite reasonable, but I think the €50 menu with a mix of appetizers, a choice of first and second courses is way too good, given the high quality of the ingredients and the preparation! Oh, and I forgot to mention the homemade bread, which is truly delicious, the Neapolitan taralli breadsticks, and the extra virgin olive oil—another Michelin-starred experience!

01/08/2025: My wife and I were Franco's guests for lunch, as we will soon have the pleasure of hosting a reception at his premises. The restaurant is easily accessible and conveniently located, offering a stunning view and a relaxing poolside setting. The atmosphere is generally pleasant and the staff are attentive. During lunch, we felt privileged by both the owner and the waiters. Particular attention was paid to both the promptness of the service and the selection of dishes. Each course was generous and delicious, with a blend of flavors pleasing to the palate and perfectly balanced. The red wine offered was very good, drinks were always chilled at the table, and the waitresses were courteous in providing excellent service.
Despite our excellent relationship with Franco, the quality of the food and the skill in managing the restaurant are undeniable.
Recommended for any type of event, as the owner will certainly know how to accommodate any request.

23/09/2025: I went there last night with my family for the first time during the Napoli match and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, dry fried food, excellent products, delicious pizza and perfect cooking. The service was well organised, the atmosphere was family and quiet.
12/05/2025: Well organized place, where it is possible to watch the matches, good possibility of a €10 menu with appetizer, pizza and drink. The pizza is not 5 star but still good.

05/11/2025: Courtesy and kindness are not lacking, it is not a real restaurant, very simple, with good food, served under a tent in the square in front of the kitchen, looking at it like this it seems as if it started out as a take-away and then transformed into a restaurant.
25/10/2025: It's located in the Castel Capuano area, about a 15-minute walk from Naples Central Station, but the food is excellent.
The Pomodoro is highly rated, but this time I ordered spaghetti alla Sorrentina and arrabiata.
Both were delicious for the price, and while the terrace seating isn't the best, it was fine.
If I'm ever in Naples, I'd definitely visit again.
The staff are abrupt and reserved, but the cooking is excellent, so it's best not to worry.
It has the kind of atmosphere that locals frequent, and it's worth the money compared to the tourist-oriented area around the station!

23/11/2025: Frantoio Ducale is a place that immediately strikes you with its beauty: a carefully restored ancient oil mill, rich in charm and atmosphere. It's a shame that the new buildings surrounding it, by incorporating it, make it less poetic than it deserves: the true enchantment is discovered only upon entering.
Inside, there are three large rooms. We had lunch in the largest: less historic than the others, but still very pleasant. When we arrived, the music was a bit too loud, but the waitress turned it down immediately. The room is very high and poorly soundproofed, and we feared it might get noisy, but fortunately, that wasn't the case.
👩🍳 Service: kindness, yes, but less so coordination
Two waitresses attended to our table. They were kind and helpful, but rather chaotic: the explanations weren't always clear and often seemed uncoordinated.
For example: the wine arrived only after the appetizer, and one of the waitresses didn't know which bottle had been ordered.
🍽️ Appetizer
The confusion began as soon as we ordered: the explanations weren't very clear, and we ended up with three portions of the "A Bit of Everything" appetizer without anyone really understanding what it included, because—we were told—certain things could be included, but "that's what the kitchen decides at the time."
Despite this, the appetizer was very good, even though some items were cold. Next time, I'd choose an appetizer from the menu for greater clarity.
🥩 Second courses and course coordination
I skipped the first course and ordered the slow-cooked grey pig directly: excellent, tender, and flavorful meat. My only complaint: the broccoli under the meat was cold, while two other dishes in the same order were hot.
The real difficulty, however, was the lack of synchronization between the courses:
– 5 starters and 3 main courses arrived at our table, which should have been served together.
– The children (rightly) ate first.
– But our dishes arrived staggered.
– Some of us were almost finished, while others were still waiting. The same thing happened with the desserts.
For a family lunch, it wasn't a big problem, but it's an area that could be improved.
🍰 Desserts
I had the GIRamisù, which I personally didn't appreciate: not enough coffee and an untraditional flavor. But this remains a subjective preference.
🌿 Final impression
Despite the imperfections, we would return.
The place is beautiful, spacious, and romantic. We felt comfortable even with three children, which isn't a given.
What I would improve:
– Greater coordination between the dining room and kitchen
– More synchronized delivery of dishes
– Clearer explanations of what you're ordering
– Attention to the temperature of side dishes
The potential is there: a little more organization is all it takes to make a place that truly deserves to shine.
28/09/2025: Being a restaurant within the village, it stands out from the many agritourism establishments in the area (for example, there's no "appetizer train").
The food is good (I was particularly impressed by the meatless ragu), and the service is excellent.
It's a well-renovated building, so there are even uneven floors; women are advised to wear comfortable shoes.
The parking lot is small compared to the number of seats; it's best to arrive early to secure a spot.
Various rooms, ceremonies, and intimate parties are also available.
