13/11/2024: This is an unbelievably beautiful and special place. It is rustic in all the right ways and extremely welcoming. It is a little out of the way to get to, and you will want the smallest car possible!

01/11/2024: I'll sum it up in a few words: it's a breathtaking location. For my photography studio it's always a pleasure to be able to create wedding services in Astapiana. The spaces are truly immense and vary from the grove with the belvedere to the interiors of the farmhouse. Without forgetting the rooms, cared for and kept in a timeless period atmosphere. The staff, led by the maitre Domenico and the owner, Mrs. Giovanna, is very attentive and fast, organized in a Swiss way and this can only be a joy for a photographer. At the same time, all the dishes, from the aperitif buffet to the desserts, are finger-licking good. I always recommend trying the cured meats and mozzarella made on the spot: they are a delight. The panoramic colonnade calls for spectacular photos and, in summer, the pergola is the dinner area. It will be a pleasure to return for future occasions with my staff.

06/11/2024: Nos encantó aquí. Solo una trattoria tradicional con excelente comida. Cerca de nuestro hotel tan caminable. El personal era muy atento. Comida y vino a un precio muy razonable. Recomiendo encarecidamente el tiramisú

18/12/2024: Ho fatto la mia festa di laurea qui, sono rimasta molto delusa dal comportamento del gestore. Mi era stato detto che avrei pagato a persona in base al numero di presenti e invece mi è stato chiesto di pagare in base al numero orientativo che avevo dato una settimana prima. La motivazione è stata che il cibo era già stato preparato, tuttavia la quantità era decisamente scarsa e mancavano alcune cose tra quelle selezionate sempre una settimana prima. È stata una bella festa, ma non ci tornerò più.

15/03/2025: Great food especially the spaghetti with seafood and pasta and potatoes are divine and exceptional. The service was excellent and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. We come here often because we really like the dishes they prepare. I highly recommend.

01/02/2025: I went there for a dinner with colleagues and it was a wonderful experience. Very welcoming place with kind and friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Spacey and abandoned appetizers, and a pasta and potatoes that I continue to dream about at night 😊

19/01/2025: Small place inside with few seats, we sat outside in a heated environment. But let's talk about the quality of the products, we took a platter of cured meats and cheeses for two people but it was all delicious, every single cured meat and every single cheese had a flavor of its own that I have never tried in other places and eaten on other platters. Even the prices were not high considering that as not big drinkers we did not take a bottle of wine but half a liter in the flask, at the modest price of only €6 and 5/6 glasses came out (considering that in other places a glass of wine is around €6/7). Very fast service, preparation of the cutting board after less than 5 minutes from the order. We will definitely return sometime to try all the other things

13/04/2025: Small but cozy place, very friendly atmosphere. Typical dishes made very well with an eye on seasonality, recommended the first courses. Often full, it is advisable to book in advance especially on weekends.

Le focacce sono semplicemente deliziose. Non potete non provarle. Piatti molto molto saporiti. Ottimi anche i dolci. Complimenti a questa bella realtà della penisola sorrentina.

17/12/2024: In occasione di una fine settimana a Sorrento e dintorni siamo stati a cena in questo locale.. molto colorato e accogliente con personale allegro e accogliente... menù discreto con ottime proposte locali e nona ccompagnato da ottime birre artigianali. Da ripetere sicuramente

14/03/2025: Just want to say what a wonderful place this is. We arrived here on Feb 6th around 1900. We spent the day in Pompeii with our daughter and her boyfriend. They have an electric car that needed to be charged up, and we were desperate to find a charging place before we became stranded on the side of the road. We finally found a place with a few miles of charge left. We were cold and hungry, and needed to wait for the car to charge, so we just started to walk into town to look for a place to eat. Stopped here. From the outside, it looked kind of neglected and unappealing for 3 Americans and a Romanian. Boy, were we wrong! There was no inside seating, just a small patio outside, that was cold and dark. But the owner and his employees made us feel so welcome, even though we could barely communicate with one another. We ordered 3 large pizzas, and a bunch of appetizers, all for about 37 Euros. The appetizers were good, but the pizzas were fantastic. But it wasn't the food that made the stop special. It was the people working there. They saw we were cold, and came out to the patio a few minutes after we ordered with a metal coal bucket loaded with hot coals from the pizza oven! It was so awesome. After the meal, I went to pay at the counter, and the boss (maybe the owner?) started miming to me about America, each of us laughing at one another. I paid, and we were getting ready to leave, when he gestured to me to sit back down. I wasn't sure what was going on, but a few minutes later, he came out with a tray of some type of pistachio after-dinner drink for all of us. It really made our evening so special! Summary - we spent 2 weeks in Rome and the surrounding area, and ate at several high end restaurants during our stay, but our unintentional stop here was the most memorable and special time we had during our travels.
