Ristorante Spicy In Sorrento

Very nice place to stay when visiting Sorrento.

It was clean and I checked in late in the evening and was greeted with great hospitality. The person at the desk was friendly, the room was clean, and the view of Sorrento from the balcony was great.

Recommended hotel, clean, very attentive staff and in our case very decisive. They will provide us with all the information to solve the rental car breakdown.

Stayed for one night: I must say that it is quite out of the way from the center of Sorrento, but it is well served by transport such as a bus and shuttle for hotel guests via a campsite a few meters away. Once we arrived at the hotel we were greeted in a professional and exhaustive manner with explanations of the shuttle bus timetables and hotel information. The room was nice but could be improved, perhaps they are still under construction because there were workers working inside the hotel. Advantages: It's certainly bright, large bed but not very comfortable, large windows but no shutters or shutters, only awning to close for those who like to sleep in the dark, you can't sleep there, Excellent TV but no mini-bar, decent view apart from the perimeter garden outside. hotel left disused. Another note: too much noise, the walls are clearly not soundproofed as best as possible, bathroom good as standard. I would say the breakfast is a strong point! really full of good cakes of various kinds which can be improved on the savory side (subjective anyway). Very attentive and helpful staff!

Let me start by saying that we are a group of six people (three couples), advance payment for the three different types of rooms: one economy (on the first floor landing), one standard, the other with sea view. Upon arrival, a lot of confusion at the reception, in particular for the sea view room: initially it was 109, then there was 106. Being in the same group, it was normal to compare the rooms: the standard room 104 was perfectly the same as 106. When we left the rooms and asked for explanations: the price difference was justified by the view of a glimpse of the sea (really a glimpse) and in any case we were told that it was the standard room (104) that had a benefit, and not the 106 to have been "penalised". The heated discussion ended with the recognition of the same price. The difference was deducted from the cost of parking!!! Another thing that has NO reason to exist, since on the site if there is mention of the lack of lift there is no mention that the parking is paid (20 euros per day) and given the location (suburbs) there is not alternative. In the rooms not a chair. The mediocre breakfast, the sandwiches on Monday were from the days before, the edge of the coffee cup was dirty (we asked for another one). In summary: the quality/price ratio is absolutely inadequate. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
