Despite this, Pasquale at the register went out of his way to accommodate me and gave me two gluten-free Montanara pizzas, demonstrating a rare level of thoughtfulness and kindness. It's not just about the pizza (which is delicious, by the way), but about the people: when you find someone who truly cares about their customers, it shows. 02/05/2026: Simple and basic pizzeria. Good pizza with a choice of toppings and dough (mixed flour or red with crusco peppers). The pizza—I opted for the mixed flour—is flavorful but not overly so, and has a light dough (though the crust seemed undercooked when bitten, it didn't leave any yeasty or other flavor). The pizza wasn't heavy. The tomato sauce was slightly tart but not bothersome. The buffalo mozzarella was okay. The atmosphere was clean and simple. Service was good. Cover charge is €2, but they serve the pizzas in a wicker container covered with disposable paper. This was a solution to avoid dishwashing. This solution is fine, but a smooth wooden or plastic container would be preferable, as wicker, not being flat and smooth, makes it difficult to cut the pizza with a knife (even though the pizza arrives already cut into 4 pieces). Prices are reasonable (€10 for the buffalo mozzarella). The wood-fired oven adds value.

25/04/2026: I made a reservation for a group of six for this Saturday evening. The reservation was for 10:00 PM. Once we arrived, they told us the table was ready and just needed clearing. We waited for over 30 minutes without a table, despite repeated requests. At this point, we decided to leave. I'm not reviewing the food we ate, as it didn't happen, but the service we received.

The location is truly unique, with meticulous attention to detail that immerses you completely in the typical Neapolitan atmosphere. The dishes offered are fully respectful of tradition, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers: from the octopus alla Luciana to the fried cod, including the minestra maritata (a soup with vegetables), the fried artichokes, and the toasted bread with lard—all truly delicious. Also noteworthy is the pasta with potatoes and provola cheese, simply exceptional, creamy, and rich in flavor. An authentic and very satisfying experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Neapolitan cuisine!

11/04/2026: Not a pub, but a criminal organization. We made a reservation on The Fork, arrived, and the waiter, in a threatening tone, told us that if we wanted to take advantage of the 30% discount, we had to order from the special The Fork menu. It took us about 40 minutes to order, with the waiter getting annoyed because we didn't get an appetizer. From 9:15 PM, it was 10:30 PM without anything arriving, and with the waiters constantly insisting that we'd be next, even though guests who arrived after us had already been served long ago. At that point, it became clear that the plan was to purposefully cause a disservice because the reservation we made through The Fork was just a decoy. We asked for the bill, and the cashier promptly cancelled the reservation, and we paid 24 euros for two Cokes with no added sugar and a beer. Shameful is an understatement. Stay away.

23/03/2026: A pleasant evening, the place is beautiful. The food was good, but the chicken tenders were tiny and, for €10, honestly not worth it. The meat in the sandwich was good and cooked well; the problem was the bread was very, very dry; the top crumbled. What I didn't like, honestly, was the service; the staff were very pushy at the table and sometimes even inappropriate with jokes... Overall, the food was good. The price was average.

22/04/2026: We stumbled into this restaurant after the pizza parlor we went to was closed. Our server (the only server) was very nice and helpful. All the pasta dishes we had were so fresh! Prior to receiving our lunch, we were each brought an appetizer / tasting plate with scrambled eggs and asparagus, buttery potatoes and stuffed artichoke heart. Oh my gosh all 3 were delicious!! I could eat those potatoes every day. My husband and I ordered the local beer (not sure the name) it was cold and delicious. Remember if you are new to Italy, your waiter/server does not want to bother you, so just get his attention for a refill or the check. Prices were very good.

15/03/2026: This evening we were at this pizzeria. We sat down at 9:00 PM. There were three of us. We ordered just two croquettes and a pasta frittata, and they arrived after a good 45 minutes. What bothered me most was that from the time I ordered the pizzas, they arrived at 10:30 PM. There wasn't a single diner who didn't complain. In the end, I had to ask for one pizza not to be made because it was getting late for the baby. I don't want to comment on the rest. I hope this criticism will improve both the service and the delivery of the pizzas to the table.

05/05/2026: We went to this Neapolitan pizzeria and had a truly wonderful time! 🍕 My friend had a super creamy and flavorful pasta with potatoes and provola, while I chose a Nerano pizza with a seafood twist, featuring red prawns from Mazara del Vallo: simply exceptional, with quality ingredients and a perfect dough. A big plus also goes to the owners: welcoming, kind, and very attentive. They made us feel right at home. Plus, the prices are really competitive for the quality! We'll definitely be back! ❤️
