23/06/2025: Wonderful restaurant with amazing views! The restaurant is on a beautiful street, Via Tragara. I had veal meatballs in almond crust, purple potato mousse, baby vegetables and smoked Provola cheese foam and my cousin had a pasta special with seafood. I had tiramisu for dessert-everything was delicious.!

15/05/2025: Discovered by chance as we were in the area for tourism. We called and they immediately found us an available table. No waiting. Wide and excellent choice on the menu that remains very consistent. Excellent quality of the products, genuine. Generous dishes, very good on the palate and beautiful to look at. Polipetti alla Luciana highly recommended as well as the octopus salad or even the first courses. All very good. The lady was very kind, attentive, always asked how it was going and if everything was appreciated. I will be back!

29/06/2025: I went here with my favorite who is well known to the Owner's and I can tell you that the food is not only fresh and locally sourced, it's cooked and served to high standards. It's delicious and scrumptious 😋 The staff are very client centric and welcoming. I totally recommend this restaurant 👌🏾 It's a 5 🌟 🤩

22/06/2025: Excellent quality of meat first of all, if you then add the friendliness of the owners, the professionalism of the service and the place where you are, a winning mix comes out. I was there last night for the first time but I had passed by last winter while it was being renovated, I will certainly return to try their first courses.

13/06/2025: Given the competition nearby, I can't necessarily recommend this place. They try hard to appear classy, ​​but they don't quite succeed. However, it does result in a poor price-performance ratio. The starter (fried anchovies) was very good, the pizza (arugula with Parma ham) was okay. The bread with the starter wasn't good either. The beer is really expensive. I could find better and cheaper options nearby.

06/06/2025: We came as neighbors and were surprised by the quality of the dishes... everything was there: flavor, taste, and presentation. Congratulations to the chef. We didn't order any pizzas. The only downside would be that with the spritz as an aperitif, if there was a small accompaniment (olives, mini pizzas, etc.), the wine was also of good quality! 18/06/2025: It was really warm (air con maybe not working?) and there wasn’t a single Italian except cooking. The cooks were great and not easy with open kitchen and food was very good. The server made excellent wine recommendation, however served it after food arrived. Just a pet peeve. Lots of extras we appreciated and great pasta, but just didn’t feel authentic and super hot and sweaty

11/06/2025: Pasta genovese very tasty! But everything came quickly one after the other. Adjusting the 4-course menu was easy to serve a pasta with tomato sauce. I think the chefs have a bit more inspiration to prepare something. Dessert was simply placed in front of you in a metal box with some pastries. We ordered a tiramisu which costs €15 This was unfortunately time to go We were not asked for coffee or a liqueur. Also strange that the waiter tasted our wine halfway through that it had already been poured to finish it and that we could not stay a bit longer. It attracted us to you of friends. But this did not convince us to come back. Too bad

21/05/2025: I have been going to this place for several years now and I cannot deny that the service and quality of the food have always remained perfect over time. I highly recommend this place!! One of the few today to offer this quality of food at great prices!

14/05/2025: Nothing to say. My husband, my children and I had a great time at this restaurant. The welcome, the waiting time, the food, the portions, the price. But the waiter in the dining room deserves special recognition, he is very friendly. He made us feel like family and not guests (which elsewhere would be a lot...). Congratulations and thank you 😉

26/01/2025: Siamo stati sabato sera per la pizza nel ruoto, location carina, se però di base sei un ristorante comunque non potresti propormi solo un menù pizza su un foglietto ma va bene così, non discuto della qualità ma dei prezzi e della quantità, abbiamo chiesto dimensione pizza e ci è stato detto che era abbastanza per mangiarci 3 persone scegliendo 2 gusti, niente affatto, non si tratta di una percezione di sazietà soggettiva ma venivano 2 fette di pizza ciascuno, pizza buona per carità (ma la faccio anche io a casa identica) per il conto finale non è stato diviso con la metà dei 2 gusti ma è stato inserito il prezzo della sola pizza che costava di più (20euro), il prezzo delle birre scelte non era inserito nel menu quindi costavano di più e il coperto di 2,50 euro improponibile anche perchè difficilmente lo trovi a Salerno centro, con tutto il rispetto per Sieti, non abbiamo proferito parola per evitare noie, peccato però..

19/05/2025: Very nice place. Attentive and helpful staff. The owner is a very friendly man and above all very attentive and prepared to handle intolerances. I recommend it. I am celiac and lactose intolerant, but I had absolutely no problems there. In fact, I ate an excellent tartare and Tuscan cured meats. A beautiful experience. Thanks again.

30/06/2025: A beautiful cafe serving Italian and brunch menus with a great coffee and drinks selection. The presentation of our dishes was immaculate and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The star hosts were the two dogs who welcome you and wander around without bothering you but you cannot help but bother them as they roam freely within the cafe. I loved everything about this cafe and would return the next time I visit Positano.

From the moment I walked into Hosteria La Tradizione, I felt warmly welcomed—with a glass of Prosecco and a perfectly crisp pacchero fritto as an aperitivo. A great start that only hinted at what was to come. Gennaro, the host, is a true gem—extremely knowledgeable about wines from every corner of the world and passionate about pairing them thoughtfully with each dish. I started with an exceptional beef tartare, followed by a beautifully cooked steak served on pietra lavica (lava stone), which added both flavor and flair to the experience. The evening ended on a high note with a unique and memorable dessert: blue cheese infused with dark chocolate, paired masterfully with a Falanghina passito. An unexpected and delightful combination. Special thanks to Chef Giovanni and Giusy for their creativity and attention to detail. Every element of the meal had a personal touch that made it feel special. Highly recommended if you're in the Napoli area—this is a place that celebrates tradition, innovation, and hospitality all in one.
