15/12/2024: I had lunch at Casa Caponi to celebrate a very pleasant event with my parents and I must reiterate that it represents a cornerstone of classic Neapolitan dining. I highly recommend the roasted octopus. Service always up to the task: friendly and willing to give appropriate advice. Definitely worth going there to eat well and feel at ease.

08/12/2024: Found this place via google maps and decided to trust the reviews given our first choice of pizzeria was closed that day. The place may look shady with their aggressive hooligan-looking touts on the street but it turned out to be a really solid choice and good value for money. Delicious!

08/12/2024: We were in an Airbnb in San Benedetto and checked Google for places to eat nearby. The reviews for this restaurant sounded good and so we decided to try it out. I am not a pizza fan but after reading the reviews I decided to try one. The pizzas were amazing - thin and crispy base with the right amount of toppings. Service was good. The place was filled with locals so obviously this is popular with the Italians too. We liked it so much that we went back two days later. Definitely worth visiting

07/12/2024: In una serata in cui tutti i ristoranti e bar di Salerno pullulavano di persone, Saltimbocca News su via Roma mi ha letteralmente salvata dal digiuno. Non conoscevo il locale, che è specializzato in panini di ogni tipo e con una infinita varietà di condimenti. Ho ordinato un panino con salsa di noci e gorgonzola, mentre mia sorella ne ha scelto uno con alici e friarelli. Tutto buonissimo e il pane era morbido. Prezzi onesti, ambiente tranquillo e personale disponibile. Consigliato.
