27/08/2025: I contacted them two days in advance by texting and WhatsApp but to no avail. I wanted to reserve a seat for 7pm on August 28th, but after I called and specified the time I wanted to reserve, they hung up without any further information. Then I called again and was told that they were closed on August 28th, but that was ok. I asked if they were available on the 29th, but the service staff said they couldn't hear me and hung up the phone. So I hope that if I go there tomorrow or pass by, you guys would be closed, otherwise you are a scam?

27/08/2025: What a lovely dinner. The ambience is lovely, the service is excellent and the food deserves a Michelin star for sure. One of the best restaurants experiences we had in Capri and if you are staying along Via Tragara there is a short cut to reach the restaurant!

21/08/2025: The coffee is fantastic, the baked goods are incredible, and the people who run this great establishment are so wonderful! They're friendly and assistive, and (if you're new to Italian) they appreciate some effort to meet them halfway, and will help you to learn the correct terminology. We loved our whole stay in the area, but we'll miss them more than anything else in Napoli.

14/08/2025: Service was okay nothing too special. The coffee was lovely. Got the cornetto with the kinder bueno filling? That’s how the waitress explained the name of it. It was amazing! Highly recommend.

28/06/2025: Exceptional people. Excellent food, regenerating place. We were here today with two other families returning from vacation in Puglia and headed to Rome we stopped. It was a real surprise and will definitely become a must-see. If you have a family with children stop here because having lunch with such good dishes under the porch and watching the children having fun on the lawn is priceless.

The staff is welcoming and helpful, and the cuisine is excellent, with authentic flavors. Recommended for those visiting Ischia and looking for a warm and genuine experience.

26/08/2025: I'd love to find the right words to review this place without too many frills, but I'm having a hard time. I stayed here from August 1st to 7th, and although the name suggests a place without too many pretensions (considering the reasonable prices), it's not really that way! Impeccable cleanliness; Fantastic welcome; from the first contact with the owners, we all felt at home; Modern and well-kept facilities; Delicious food; Super convenient shuttle service included. I stayed with my girlfriend and a group of friends (nine people in total), and getting everyone to agree on travel and vacations is always tricky, but I assure you that from day one, none of us had a single doubt. We don't usually write reviews (simply out of reluctance, not for any other reason), but here we had to. A special thanks to Ferdinando and Mr. Michele, who welcomed us and made us feel truly at home, right from the start. A special mention also goes to all the staff (waiters and other staff), who are incredibly polite and helpful. We'll definitely be back, maybe even at other times of the year! 14/08/2025: Super nice little snack bar. The food is fresh and you can create your own snack according to your desires! Friendly staff. Beautiful view for eating. I went there at 12:30 p.m. and there was no queue. I recommend it.

16/08/2025: The ice cream was excellent, especially the lemon cream flavor.... Special.... And anyway, not to mention the rest.... Between pizza, desserts, etc... Really good... In fact, very good.

13/08/2025: We ate at the rotisserie, with plenty of tables both inside and outside. The pizzas and croquettes were good. We also tried the sfogliatelle, which were good (average).

21/08/2025: Unfortunately, Il Buco does not live up to its Michelin star. The food seems passionless. We opted for the “I trust you” menu because we wanted to see what creative dishes the chef would come up with. Instead, we just got random dishes from the menu. Nothing about the choices was inventive and we honestly would have saved money if we ordered those dishes directly. The initial appetizers were very bland — and so while we were initially interested in the wine pairing, we switched to just ordering a bottle since we didn’t feel like the pairing would live up to our standards. It also felt unorganized - we had about 3-4 different servers all at once. Above all, it was a fine meal. But it doesn’t deserve the amount of money we paid. I wouldn’t go back.

20/08/2025: Il Buco benefits from a nice location, and the initial impression created by the first dining room adds a distinctive and charming touch to the restaurant’s atmosphere. However, we were seated in a back room, which unfortunately lacked the same refinement and ambiance, making it feel more like an ordinary restaurant rather than a Michelin-starred establishment. Service timing was uneven. The amuse-bouche was brought out immediately as we sat down, which felt rushed, while the starters followed only after a 20-minute wait. The food itself was acceptable, but it didn’t meet the high expectations one typically has for a Michelin-starred experience—flavors and presentation were fine, but not remarkable. The staff were friendly and polite throughout the evening, which we appreciated. However, the overall service fell short of Michelin standards. Several small but important details were missing: dishes were occasionally served without explanation, no one asked about our wine preferences, and there was a lack of attentiveness in areas like cleaning the table properly between courses. Another distraction was the sound of the dishwasher during our meal, as staff began cleaning up for the evening. This detracted from the atmosphere and made the dining experience feel rushed and unfinished. In summary, while Il Buco offers a pleasant setting and friendly staff, the overall experience did not live up to Michelin-star expectations. Key elements in service, timing, and attention to detail were lacking, leaving us with a sense of disappointment.

I tried the cuzzetiello with ragù and sausage: the bread was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a generous and flavorful filling—truly irresistible. The price was excellent considering the quality and generous portions. A simple yet welcoming place, perfect for enjoying traditional Neapolitan dishes at a leisurely pace. Don't miss it if you want to try authentic Neapolitan ragù!

21/08/2025: Excellent choice if you want a quick Neapolitan meal. Try the meatball and ragout sandwiches or the genovese. Everything is fantastic. We went at least 2-3 times

12/04/2025: Bisogna sempre tornare nei restauranti buoni per vedere come stanno andando le cose. L'Osteria Zena in Campagna è uno dei posti assolutamente da visitare in tutta la Campania. Una cucina minimalista squisita e indimenticabile. Verdure di estrema delicatezza, melanzane provenienti da un altro pianeta. Potremmo scrivere pagine e pagine, ma è meglio se vieni a provarlo. Pasquale e famiglia si occupano del vino e del resto. Un luogo di culto per ii palati più raffinati.
