15/05/2026: Absolutely lovely family run restaurant with a true familial feel the entire time that you eat here. Every single bite I took was apparent of the thought and love put into every dish and interaction. The mozzarella, gnocchi, and polpo were out of this world with flavor. The only thing I don’t like is that I found this restaurant towards the end of my stay. I wish I had the ability to stay longer and eat here repeatedly. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, exceptional service. I really don’t know what else to ask for or need. I wish I could add a photo of my meal, but it would be disrespectful to upload a picture of it half eaten. Enjoy the dessert picture at least. I hope that everyone visits if possible.

18/05/2026: For a Sunday family lunch, I chose a first course, Genovese, and a second course, beef cheek! The Genovese sauce was well-made, but the pasta was very thin and so al dente that it didn't bind with the sauce. I also had to eat it without a bit of grated Parmesan because it was requested when the dish arrived, but it never arrived! I didn't like the cheek at all! Usually, it's a super tender cut of meat that falls apart and is left covered in sauce! However, the meat wasn't tender at all, it was a mass of sinew and tasted like muscle that needed to be cooked in broth! Its suo was a tomato sauce that wasn't even slow-cooked, placed on top of this meat only on one side, as if it hadn't been cooked at all! Failed! I've eaten here several times, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable, but we've noticed a decline in quality!

05/06/2026: We stumbled upon a video reel: a chef showing the restaurant's monthly expenses and explaining how they'd renovated the place during the Covid crisis. It piqued our curiosity, so we continued watching other videos: the quality of the pasta, beautifully presented dishes, the son's passion for meat, smoking, trade shows, and investments in machinery. I discussed it with my wife, and we decided to treat ourselves to a "Smokey Night." The restaurant is truly well-kept: a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. It's not huge, but it's very well-kept. There wasn't a smell of meat in the dining room—the cooking area is visible but closed by a glass door, a sign that the hoods are working and up to standard. Everything is clean and tidy: the bathroom is equipped (disabled access, changing table, wastebasket, and hand dryer). Our baby, recently out of diapers, was welcomed with ease. One detail I appreciated: from the kitchen door, you can see the lamps to keep the dishes warm without drying them out—something you only see in very few well-organized restaurants. We ordered the Smokey Night platter for two, accompanied by beers. They offer a variety of beers: Tennents, Guinness, Ceres, Peroni, and others. The platter was spectacular—I'm sorry I can't convey the aroma and taste in words: the buns were exceptional, the currants alongside the pork belly, and even the chicken were amazing. Every bite: meat melted in your mouth; from now on, family barbecues will be just amateur ones! For the girls, we had 300g heifer burgers with fries—plenty (one portion of fries is more than enough for two). The bread is homemade (there's a video of the chef talking about it). We finished with two desserts: cheesecake and tiramisu, served by the glass and very generous. We went home rolling with satisfaction. Prices—for a serious review, I'll list them here: the platter for two with beers (33cl Ceres and Tennents) is the one in the photo; A 300g beef burger with seasoned potatoes was €14, a generous portion of fries was €6, and desserts were €6 each. For four of us (2 adults and 2 girls, aged almost 7 and almost 3), they only charged us three covers plus water. Total was about €90. In summary: an amazing culinary experience, a quiet and refined atmosphere, and helpful staff. High quality at a fair price—proof that even in the South, in Naples, you can eat very well without spending a fortune. Definitely worth a try; next time we'll try the father's cooking: you can taste the passion, and it shows. Keep up the good work—you're a wonderful discovery!

29/10/2025: Tried this place because of the glowing Google comments, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The atmosphere is lovely — elegant and welcoming, the kind of restaurant you really want to like. Sadly, the food fell far short. The ragu was overwhelmingly salty, burnt (despite their claim that it’s “intentional, according to their study”), and the entrées, though clearly aiming for sophistication, were dry and uninspired. A beautiful setting can’t quite rescue a disappointing meal. For the same price range for contemporary Italian cuisine , I’d recommend Terrazza Calabritto in the same area — much much better food and execution.

03/06/2026: I chose this pizzeria because I needed a quick bite near the station, but from now on, it'll be a must-try when I visit Naples! I've had both the regular contemporary pizza and the famous grotte. The pizza is excellent, but the grotte are exceptional. The dough is so good and so pleasant to bite that you'd eat it on its own. The fillings are generous and delicious, cooked to perfection. I had the one with escarole and the duo with eggplant, and both were heavenly. Add to that the fried dishes; they're also generous and delicious. The service tops it all off. I can't wait to go back!

03/06/2026: what a great find! we stayed in the village for 2 nights and this place was a minute from our house. we eat late after a day adventuring the Amalfi coast..it was a Tuesday and around 9pm but we were welcomed warmly and we had pizza, pasta, bruchetta, red wine and desserts! The night time view was amazing with all the twinkly lights over the bay of Naples and also down to Positano! Some place. Very reasonable prices too which was warmly welcomed after the prices in Amalfi town!!

26/04/2026: I had a rather disappointing experience at this ice cream shop. Yesterday afternoon, I was in line with my husband and, since I'm pregnant, the man at the cashier told me that only I could be served, while my husband would have to wait his turn separately. I didn't understand the reasoning behind this decision: we were simply ordering two ice creams; we weren't a large group. For this reason, I preferred to wait for my husband anyway and have his ice cream with him, but this meant we had to wait about an hour and a half. I'd like to emphasize that pregnancy isn't an illness, but often giving a little priority is a gesture of courtesy and consideration towards the customer. In this case, it would have taken very little to handle the situation with greater common sense and sensitivity. I hope that in the future, more attention will be paid to these aspects, because they really make a difference in the overall experience.
