The food was excellent, the meat was special, and it was prepared with attention to every detail, melting in your mouth. 20/05/2026: Don’t be fooled by the high ratings and very cheap menu. Food felt unseasoned - NEVER get the alla vongole because there’s no sauce at all. Everyone at my table was shaking salt into their plates for some flavour. The desserts felt like they came from the supermarket. I understand that requesting free limoncello could’ve been rude, but the waiter served it passive aggressively. The service was neglectful from the start — when we got bread and olive oil and balsamic vinegar with no plates until the main course was served.

05/05/2026: Fantastic food and service! We arrived late into Salerno due to train delay and stumbled upon Osteria dei Sapori. So glad we did! We sat outside next and surrounded by Italian music and murals. What a great family restaurant!

The hotel is beautifully located in Bacoli, offering a peaceful atmosphere and lovely surroundings that make it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a pleasant and stress-free stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel felt warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, making the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with a good selection to start the day right. Overall, Hotel Il Gabbiano exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bacoli, and I would definitely stay here again!

25/03/2026: The Popilia restaurant certainly offers excellent value for money, with a wide selection of quality appetizers, first courses, and second courses, made with simple yet genuine and excellent ingredients. As for the appetizers, they are truly their strong point and are excellent; I recommend the Popilia antipasto. Their attentive service to lactose-intolerant customers is also noteworthy. My only suggestion is to expand and try a slightly more sophisticated and innovative first course. For the rest, keep up the good work!

23/05/2026: A very pleasant surprise; we weren't disappointed with the dishes we ordered. We had octopus salad as a starter, followed by seafood tagliatelle. One small comment: the service was a bit too fast. All the dishes arrived at once, just enough time to finish our aperitifs. 🤨

10/05/2026: An exceptional osteria in Calitri, very popular with locals. And for good reason, because the cuisine is excellent, traditional, just like grandma's. The atmosphere is friendly and popular, with very professional owners and staff. You absolutely must try the cannazzi or cingul al ragù, the house specialties. The lamb cacciatore is phenomenal. The desserts, such as the ricotta cake and tiramisu, are excellent. The price/quality ratio is excellent. Highly recommended.

19/05/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent seafood and extraordinary hospitality! Everything was absolutely top-notch in Ariano Irpino! Super fresh seafood and impeccable service, even when the restaurant was packed. The owner, Biffi, definitely knows his job: he's incredibly talented, patient, and incredibly kind. It was a pleasure working with him, and his lovely gesture of giving me a rose at the end of the meal really touched me. Five well-deserved stars!

09/06/2026: Cozy restaurant with amazing seafood pastas, especially the crab. The hand made scialatielli is so good. Also the prosciutto and mozzarella for starters was of exceptional quality.

08/06/2026: All the dishes were delicious I especially loved the shrimp and fish sashimi dish In addition, the lobster spaghetti was perfect and we came especially two days in a row to eat the lobster spaghetti. Worth a visit, highly recommended.
