Pizzeria Ristorante Franco In Napoli

I chose this pizzeria because I needed a quick bite near the station, but from now on, it'll be a must-try when I visit Naples! I've had both the regular contemporary pizza and the famous grotte. The pizza is excellent, but the grotte are exceptional. The dough is so good and so pleasant to bite that you'd eat it on its own. The fillings are generous and delicious, cooked to perfection. I had the one with escarole and the duo with eggplant, and both were heavenly. Add to that the fried dishes; they're also generous and delicious. The service tops it all off. I can't wait to go back!

Delicious grottos! Exceptional dough, very digestible, and the toppings (both the escarole and the duetto) are among the best I've ever tasted. Attentive and friendly service. A must-try when I return to Naples. Well done!!!

I really liked the pizzas here. Also very good service and clean environment (which is a sharp contrast with the extremely dirty road outside). Being close to the station is good for travelers

The pizzas came out pizza ovens for about 10 min. They were delicious. The waitress (Mariana - sorry if I misspelled) was so very kind and attentive. She found me a cable to charge my phone as I was running out of battery. We were very pleased with both the service and the food. Both original from Naples . Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic! We had dinner here today and were absolutely thrilled. The restaurant is beautiful, with a wonderful atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. The portions are truly enormous; you definitely won't run the risk of going hungry here! The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Pizza that's great for takeout and eating at your accommodation. The restaurant space was a bit cramped. I had Mikael Pizza for lunch/dinner and wanted to eat it again for dinner, so I looked for a nearby pizza place and came here. After I ordered, it suddenly got super crowded, so I had to stand in line. If you take it out, the price is 2 euros cheaper, so you can get a Margherita for 4.50 euros! You order at the tabacchi counter on the right, and if you wait outside, they bring out the pizza. Compared to Mikael's Margherita, the dough is a bit thicker and feels lighter. Still, it's delicious enough!!! The dough is chewy and has a slightly rustic feel. I also ordered Frittura Mista Napoletana for 8 euros. I thought it was fried seafood, but it turned out to be a mixed fried dish of arancini, pasta, mozzarella, and croquettes. I should have just ordered the fried calamari! Still, it was nice to be able to taste various kinds of food at a good value price.

Had an excellent experience at Franco Gallifuoco Pizzeria. The entire operation felt incredibly organized ..the staff used a radio communication system with the kitchen, which was surprisingly efficient and made the service flow smoothly even when busy. One of the best parts was the open pizza kitchen where you can watch the pizzas being made and baked right in front of you. The pizza cooks were singing while they worked, and you could genuinely feel the joy and pride they take in their craft. It created such a warm atmosphere and honestly reflected in the quality of the food. The server spoke enough English to communicate everything clearly and was professional, attentive, and very fast throughout the meal. We ordered the seafood salad, aubergine parmesan, meatballs in marinara, and grilled seafood. Everything tasted exceptionally fresh, the ingredients were clearly high quality, and each dish was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Naples. I would absolutely come back again.
