13/08/2025: A very nice restaurant with a terrace overlooking the main street of Tropea, but a disappointing experience. The atmosphere in the dining room was tense: many customers had been waiting a long time for their dishes, and some left due to the long wait. Our spaghetti with clams arrived promptly, but it tasted only of garlic, was greasy, and the pasta was overcooked. The price was fair (€42 for two), but the quality of the food was terrible. It's a shame, because with such a beautiful and well-located restaurant, they could do so much better.

11/08/2025: We left because they didn't put you on the terrace but under a plastic tent, with a loud TV and horrible tablecloths.

24/02/2025: I stopped by yesterday after traveling 40 km to enjoy some hot chocolate, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment because it was cold and very runny. A completely negative experience.

07/02/2025: Since it's on Pizzo's main street, it's easy to stop for a good coffee or a quick snack, as they make excellent pizza slices and other dishes. I always hope to find the Piccadilly pizza, which is truly delicious. The owners are always helpful and friendly. It's worth a stop.

21/07/2025: I'm giving it 2 stars for the kindness and attentiveness of the 16-year-old who welcomed us and took our order. It's a unique location, where you can watch a breathtaking sunset with the Rocchetta di Briatico in front, perhaps while enjoying an excellent pizza. Unfortunately, the last part of what would be a perfect description falls short given the poor quality of the pizza. The dough was white and almost undercooked, and overall, the pizza tasted like a frozen one. It's a shame, considering the location! I hope they can offer better pizza in the future!

21/07/2025: Fonte Mare restaurant with convenient free parking next door + reserved restaurant parking. Beautiful beach nearby. Simple, good food. Friendly and welcoming owner.

18/08/2025: After waiting more than 1.5 hours for 3 crepes and 2 wrong orders we were treated terribly and threatened because we are Neapolitans (they told us to go back home!) Horrible owner, thank the Neapolitans if you still work!

18/08/2025: The staff were friendly but completely unqualified... the owner was abrupt in his manner and, when confronted with the poor service we received and subsequent complaints, violent and threatening. We were threatened by the owner and one of his employees and discriminated against because of our Neapolitan origins. Avoid...

06/09/2025: We came straight from the airport here when we were on our way. We chose this restaurant based on the reviews. A little disappointing, Mega slow service, everything took an hour to get the food and an extra 30 minutes each time to get the bill and other things. Didn't get the pizza even though there was a large selection of different ones on the list. They only make them in the evening. Not going to continue.

04/09/2025: It's home! A beautiful property where peace and relaxation reign supreme. Large, spacious, and spotlessly clean rooms. The staff is friendly and always ready to meet your every need. A special thanks to Katia and the entire staff. They made us feel right at home. Everything was beautiful, I highly recommend it, and we'll see you soon!

11/07/2025: The restaurant enjoys a prime location, with a spectacular view that alone is worth the visit. The food is also overall good, with well-presented and carefully prepared dishes. The people managing the dining room and taking orders are very committed, and it's evident: they really do everything they can to ensure efficient service. However, despite their efforts, the dining room staff management appears to be struggling. Some team members seem inattentive, and this impacts the overall experience. What was most perplexing was the clear perception, from inside the dining room, of strong tensions emanating from the kitchen. Hearing shouting and arguments among the staff inevitably ruins the atmosphere, and in such a pleasant setting, both in terms of landscape and cuisine, it's a jarring element and should be avoided. A place with great potential, it deserves greater serenity and coordination behind the scenes to offer an experience truly worthy of its beauty.

09/07/2025: A great discovery.... Delicious food, fast and attentive service... we ate on this splendid terrace, as a family... On the manager's recommendation, we ordered a mixed fried fish dish and a peppered mussel dish, both delicious. ... The staff were kind, polite, and well-organized in their various roles. We'll be back... congratulations.

24/02/2025: Ristorante molto carino...abbiamo scelto il menù alla carta dall'antipasto al dolce. È stato tutto di nostro gradimento..peccato per i ravioli dove la riduzione di porcini sovrastava gli altri ingredienti e il pesce spada un pó asciutto...nel complesso ottimi piatti. Consigliato. Ritorneremo per assaggiare le altre preparazioni.

15/08/2025: Disappointing Service I've been to this restaurant twice, drawn by the good reviews—it's only fair to give it a second chance—but unfortunately, both times my experience didn't live up to expectations. Although the atmosphere is pleasant and the food is generally good, the service left much to be desired. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive to the tables. Young, inexperienced waiters dressed as waiters just ran around. I ordered a tagliata with arugula and cherry tomatoes, which arrived without cherry tomatoes. I asked for sparkling water, which arrived only in still water. I had to ask for bread, which never arrived. Even simply asking for the bill became an exercise in patience. It's a shame, because the potential is there and the food is worth it. I hope these aspects are improved, because with more attentive service, the experience could truly change radically.
