10/09/2024: For years, when I'm in these parts, I never miss a visit to Paradise. My relatives have rightly been regular visitors for a few decades. Only a few days ago, together with Uncle Mimmo (that's what they call him at Paradise) we ate a wonderful mussel pepper. The fish is always very fresh and the kitchen respects the goodness of the product while maintaining its sublime quality! Compliments!!

02/11/2024: My stay was short, but long enough to have widely appreciated the uncommon welcome of all the hotel staff, as well as their proven professionalism. Clean and well-kept environments. To be recommended without any hesitation. A sincere thank you to the magnificent staff from a Roman already nostalgic for the beautiful Vibo and the generous Calabrian people! 🤗

22/05/2025: It wasn’t too noisy, the service was very attentive, and the food was delicious! Firstly, they gave a complimentary entree of the tropea onion, which was very nice. I also very much enjoyed the tropea salad. This massive portion of carbonara was only 10 euro and was just what I needed. They offered me a complimentary digestive at the end of the meal as well. There is a 2 euro cover per person, so you know. This meal was very wholesome, the portions were great, ambiance was lovely and service top notch. Thanks so much everyone for such a special dinner. I will be back!

08/05/2025: Great dinner! Meat and cheese platter to start! Meats and cheese all tasted delicious and well presented. Two pasta dishes to start! Pasta cooked to perfection and perfectly al dente. Pasta here was as good as anywhere we have eaten in Pizzo and we have tried lots of places! All tasted nice and fresh! Didn't have desert as full from dinner! Definitely recommend! Ignore outdated reviews as food was brilliant in May 2025. Service was really good and the owners were super friendly!

13/02/2025: My partner and I went out the day before Valentine's Day just to avoid finding too many people around... unfortunately most of the restaurants in Pizzo are all closed, when we entered this restaurant we were welcomed by the owner and her daughter Fabiola, extremely kind and courteous people. They served us an appetizer of very fresh and delicious fish and then we had linguine with scampi and linguine with clams, truly extraordinary dishes, super fresh fish and generous portions, all prepared with passion and care in the plating by chef Michele. For those who really want to taste the best of the fresh fish of the area I highly recommend it.

20/04/2025: We spent Easter day in the rose garden. A spectacular lunch, all really good and tasty. The lamb was something incredible. Spectacular place, surrounded by nature and super friendly and helpful staff

07/05/2025: Just stay away. Worst burger I've ever had. 29 euro for two hamburgers, no fries, and a water. Wha? Staff were pleasant though

28/03/2025: Locale molto bello, comodo da raggiungere nella zona turistica, i prezzi sono giusti (bassi se paragonati agli strozzinaggi perpetrati a tropea) , abbiamopreso da bere elemosinando le attenzionidelle cameriere impegnate a ciarlare tra loro, ed abbiamo preso dei panini che in tutta onestà erano da pasto caritas. Le cameriere di sala, tre sorelle spagnole, un po' antipatichelle, spesso maleducate e sfrontate. Non tornerei solo per questo. 3 stelle solo per la bellezza del locale

04/04/2025: Qué restaurante tan pintoresco e increíble. Fiel a la naturaleza italiana. D No ofrece la llamarada de una trampa turística como las que se encuentran en las calles principales donde se hace un uso excesivo de múltiples ingredientes juntos. Este lugar ofrece platos sencillos, frescos, bien cocinados y compuestos de un pequeño menú bien ejecutado. El propietario / chef es extremadamente amable y te trata como amigos. Es apasionado y entretenido. Le da la verdadera atmósfera italiana que usted esperaría o desearía. Sí, el cargo de cobertura es el mismo que en la mayoría de los lugares, ya sea obvio u oculto dentro de los precios. Por la buena comida y el ambiente tiene el restaurante no ganado los 2 , 3 , 4 euros extra. Todavía propina, aunque no se espera o se requiere aquí. Dos veces para cenar en diferentes noches y regresar mañana para almorzar.

22/05/2025: The campsite has a great location, right on the beach, below the stairs leading up to Tropea. The restaurant is okay, with a great view of the sea and the sunset. Otherwise, the site offers nothing. The sanitary facilities are very old, and many are broken. Water leaks from the drains, and some faucets and toilets don't flush. There's no toilet paper (not even at the entrance) and no soap. The floor seems to be mopped occasionally; I don't know when the basins were last cleaned; they're constantly dirty. The hot water for the showers only works at the set times if you're showering alone. If several people are showering, there's only a little, trickling water with fluctuating temperatures. Anyone who describes otherwise here hasn't been to this site, or I can't understand or believe the reviews. If someone tells me I should change my travel style, I say: I've been camping all over Europe for 56 years. Toilet paper isn't important, but when my feet get wet while brushing my teeth because the fixtures are so broken, I wonder if the operators are doing the right job. The cold shower water, the dirt, and the hygienic conditions don't match my camping experience! Not even in Southern Europe. Sorry. P.S. Based on the response, you can see how the operator really reacts to his guests: obviously unfriendly and arrogant.

22/05/2025: If you want to visit Tropea, after a winding road, there's no other choice than to stop at the Marina campsite (during this time of May) for €23 per day with the Asci card. It's certainly not luxurious, but it offers the bare minimum: toilet, shower, waste disposal, pizzeria, and access to the beach. Of course, given the impressive number of campers, promiscuity is guaranteed, and the water pressure in the showers is noticeable in the evening. So no need to get upset... some pitches (near the beach) are difficult to maneuver, and they don't accept credit cards. Otherwise, at the foot of the stairs leading up to Tropea (restaurant, bar, pastry shop, grocery store, and a great view in the evening). In short, it's up to you.

15/12/2024: Solía tener un bocado en este plac durante muchos años cuando visité Tropea que estaba aquí con mi familia y ser yo mismo. Y decidí tomar un bocadillo esta vez, pero la pizza era absolutamente repugnante y se quemó. Inmediatamente tuve un sabor terrible y quemé pizza en la basura. Crocchette di patate era bueno. Pero pizza... horrible.

03/11/2024: Arancini senza sapore e inzuppati d'olio, 2 soli tipi di panini e neanche granché, locale poco igienico (toilette pietosa).

24/02/2025: I stopped by yesterday after traveling 40 km to enjoy some chocolate but unfortunately it was a big disappointment because it was cold and very liquid. Absolutely negative experience.

07/02/2025: Being on the main street of Pizzo, it's easy for me to stop for a good coffee, but also for a quick snack since it makes really excellent cuts of pizza and other things. I always hope to find Piccadilly pizza which is really good. The owners are always helpful and kind. It's worth a stop.

24/02/2025: Ristorante molto carino...abbiamo scelto il menù alla carta dall'antipasto al dolce. È stato tutto di nostro gradimento..peccato per i ravioli dove la riduzione di porcini sovrastava gli altri ingredienti e il pesce spada un pó asciutto...nel complesso ottimi piatti. Consigliato. Ritorneremo per assaggiare le altre preparazioni.

01/05/2025: Ristorante scoperto per caso e questa casualità non poteva essere scelta migliore!! Piatti caserecci, abbondanti, con prodotti tipici ma soprattutto davvero OTTIMI!!! Eccellente anche il servizio, personale davvero cortese e simpatico. Da provare assolutamente l'antipasto locale, resterete sbalorditi sia dalla visione ma soprattutto dal sapore!! Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo! C O N S I G L I A T I S S I M O !!! P.S. : Siamo poi ritornati anche alla sera!

24/04/2025: Tutto perfetto!!! Siamo stati con amici per il pranzo di pasquetta!!! Ritorneremo sicuramente, il cibo ottimo, pasta fatta in casa é secondi piatti di carne e di pesce buonissimi. Il servizio impeccabile. Rapporto qualità prezzo super!!
