08/05/2026: Thanks to the rudeness of the staff, we couldn't stay at this property, which, given its location and services, would certainly be worthy, but the person in charge of reservations is incredibly arrogant.
No problem with the price, but they couldn't complete the credit card payment, and the "manager" on the phone began to raise his voice when I asked for clarification and explanations. When I pointed this out, he turned the accusation around, ending the call with a very professional "ciao bello mio."
25/04/2026: I stayed at the La Praia Hotel, a charming place with excellent hospitality and excellent food. It's just a stone's throw from Tropea. I recommend staying there.

05/04/2026: Great place, we came for Easter Sunday! The food was really good and the service was impeccable, especially the waiter who took care of our table, Andrea, who was really friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend it!
05/04/2026: Fabulous venue and sublime food. I went there today for Easter lunch, and despite the large number of tables, all courses were served promptly. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Andrea, the waiter who served our table, fulfilled all our requests and accompanied our meal with a smile, professionalism, and friendliness. The dishes we ate were each more delicious than the last and very refined. I highly recommend it for important events, but also for simply spending a family day with a fabulous view, just as the restaurant's name suggests.

15/05/2025: Incredible!!! We've enjoyed an excellent aperitivo here twice now. The reasonable price doesn't reflect the outstanding quality of the authentic food. The ambiance and the very friendly staff made the evening a highlight.

11/05/2025: This restaurant is not worth visiting. Food is overpriced and simply not good (served on plastic (!) plates )- same goes for the service - waiters are buzzing around you constantly, talking on their walkie-talkies like they are in a swat team (mind that at the time only 3 tables were taken) making it impossible to enjoy the meal (not that there is much to enjoy). Stay away for your own good.

12/02/2026: Surrounded by greenery. Within a beautifully maintained park. Nature surrounds you in silence. Very spacious, warm, and welcoming room. Bathroom with a large, bright shower. The evening was enlivened by an excellent dinner featuring local products. The discreet and kind owner offered us a delicious caciocavallo cream with vegetables. A fireplace warmed the room with spectacular flames. After a restful night's sleep in silence, a hearty breakfast kicked off a new day.

27/02/2026: Excellent pizza made in a wood-fired oven and it is also possible to have lunch and dinner as a restaurant. Excellent and plentiful cuisine at the right price. Equipped with a room for private parties. The owners are always available and hard workers.

Spacious umbrellas with all the amenities.
The beach has showers and bathrooms.
The restaurant is a bit basic, but offers sufficient food.
The breakfasts, with hot, fresh croissants, are a very positive note.
Overall, a good beach.

02/05/2026: This is the first time I've written a negative review, but here it's a must... old and poorly functioning facilities, coin-operated hot showers with practically cold water. The front desk tells you one price upon arrival, and when you leave, it's doubled. The only really positive note is the very kind gentleman with the tractor who helped us get out of the campsite... there's a ridiculously steep climb. It's a real shame because the location is truly worth it... never, ever again!

13/05/2026: One of my favorite pizzerias in Tropea. You sit comfortably in a narrow alley and enjoy la dolce vita! The building looks like it was built by the ancient Romans; its charm is simply irresistible. The pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven, which the owner fires up starting at noon. If you're lucky, you might even see him zipping through the narrow streets of Tropea in his Ape (a small three-wheeled vehicle). I'd say he's a true Calabrian character and has probably spent more time in this alley than anyone else. The pizza and wine are always excellent. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
