25/10/2024: Per il weekend di fine Aprile abbiamo deciso di fare tappa a Serra San Bruno, davvero un tranquillo e rilassante borgo..mai ci saremmo aspettati di trovare in un posto così lontano dalle frivolezze proprie del mondo attuale un ristorante del genere! Un posticino intimo dove gustare solo prelibatezze con accostamenti di sapori e lavorazione delle materie prime di elevata qualità eccellenti! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo se si scelgono i menù degustazioni, che consiglio vivamente! Da non perdere!!

08/02/2025: Excellent carnival fried foods, see chiacchere, Zeppole and fritters... let's not talk about the chocolates or ice creams, if you come to Macomer don't forget to pay us a visit.
28/10/2024: Es un buen lugar para tomar un buen capuchino. Su capuchino tiene el equilibrio perfecto de leche ligera y granos de café fuertes que deja un aroma corporal completo de chocolate y avellana en la boca.
El personal es muy amable también y se puede sentar fuera disfrutando del sol.

04/02/2025: Sono stato recentemente in questo ristorante e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata eccezionale sotto ogni aspetto. Prima di tutto, l'accoglienza è stata molto calorosa a partire dal cameriere antonio simpaticissimo che ci accoglie sempre calorosamente e il personale si è dimostrato professionale e attento.
sono stato in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Ci siamo presi come antipasto il capriccio di mare tutta a base di pesce e devo dire che era spettacolare come primo ci siamo presi lo spaghettone con la crema di melanzana e taralli sbriciolati sopra tutto eccezionale, davvero ci ritornerò sicuramente.

After spending 10 min on choosing our meals from menu and making decision, waiter came and said that pizza is not available (he could do it at the beginning). But they do it by purpose (he did the same thing to other clients next to us).
After ordering pastas, a few minutes later waiter came and asked if cook can change type of our pastas...
Food was below average and didn't contain specific ingredients indicated in menu. (Again, clients next to us also asked where is main ingredient in their meal!).
Price way tooooo high compering to service and food.

08/03/2025: Io avevo scritto la prima recensione in assoluto su TripAdvisor per questo " ristorante/pescheria" scoperto per caso a Tropea. Ne avevo chiesto l'inserimento perché non figurava, ma mi ero trovata molto bene mangiando prodotti semplici ma genuini e freschi e spendendo il giusto. A distanza di anni siamo tornati e purtroppo non posso confermare il voto di allora per la qualità dei piatti, il costo degli stessi e anche la relazione con i clienti. Mi spiace.

The starters were excellent, shame about the limited choice of desserts... the only flaw.

07/10/2024: Welcoming place, polite and smiling staff who are attentive to the customer. I may have dropped a beer on the table and they cleaned it up straight away and brought back a whole beer. Wonderful pizza and wonderful truffles. I recommend going there to eat. On Saturdays we sing and dance. Thanks to all the staff

06/12/2024: bellissimo locale curato e pulito al centro di serra san bruno. cucina eccellente con piatti veramente molto saporiti e abbondanti consiglio maialino ai frutti.. una vera delizia per il palato..consiglio se vi trovate da quelle parti di fermarvi in questo posto.

The dishes were one better than the other, the boy who welcomed us and then served us was of impeccable professionalism and unique friendliness, he loves his job and it shows! The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful!
The environment is really welcoming, it feels very "homey", you immediately feel at ease...
Not only do I recommend it, but I will definitely return!

02/03/2025: I am adding to the review because I stayed again on the night of June 9, 2024 and I confirm what is written below, nothing new.
It is the first time I have written a review even though I have already been there about ten times over the years and always with a tent for 2 nights or a little more, in different periods between June and September (like this time from the 15th). I have always found a place even though it is always very busy like this time despite it being mid-September.
Campsite unchanged over the years, not new in any way but functional if you are not looking for luxury. Very beautiful location, directly on the sea, as beautiful as the beach which however is quite crowded like the nearby ones. It has nothing beyond the toilets and an excellent restaurant/pizzeria/bar right on the sea, no market, entertainment or anything else. Very courteous staff both in management and in the restaurant. The pitches are all the same, covered by a sheet, and you can also keep your car there. No flies, wasps and mosquitoes. For ants, the usual precautions are enough. Outside the campsite, you just have to take the steps to reach the magnificent historic center of Tropea. From the nearby port, boats leave for trips along the coast or to the Aeolian Islands. In conclusion, I absolutely recommend it, if only for its strategic location.
31/10/2024: Camping ok, places by the sea very nice. Showers and toilets are clean but, sorry, they urgently need to be renovated. No hacks in the showers and almost all the locks are broken or missing

01/10/2024: After a 2.5-hour hike, we discovered the only open restaurant in the area. It was great, the food was delicious and also quite cheap compared to the prices in Vienna.

11/01/2025: You could only find a dough like the one Marjan makes at Fermentium, now it seems it has closed permanently. Always continue like this. The pizza is fantastic.
