24/08/2025: Above expectations. Week 16 to 23 August 25, family of 2 adults and two young girls. Superior room with half board. Beautiful, new, functional room. Positives: bathroom, attention to detail in the furniture and beautiful lighting, panoramic view, good housekeeping. (The wardrobe isn't huge, but if you plan ahead, it can be done.) Food: good, varied, and with careful selection of certain ingredients. Efficient and smiling service; the team appears organized and experienced. This is evident in the actions and attention to guests, expressed with much substance and few words. The sea is truly beautiful. The establishment is well-organized, but some services (such as showers) could be improved. I recommend the property because it's the right size for families, small groups, and even young couples.

10/08/2025: A very positive experience at this hotel. The sea is just a short walk downhill (just a few minutes). There's a shuttle service for lunch and dinner if you don't want to hike uphill. The superior room was beautiful, spacious, and modern. Good food. Impeccable staff. Pleasant evening entertainment. Mrs. Niki was a "sister" to us guests. Highly recommended! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

05/08/2025: A little gem by the sea 🌊🍝 I went twice for lunch at L'Ammurrata and the experience was spectacular. The food is incredible; everything we tried was delicious and super filling. Unfortunately, I don't remember the exact names of the dishes, but everything was delicious. The staff deserves a special mention: we were served by a very friendly and welcoming gentleman. When he realized we spoke Spanish, he called a girl who also spoke the language, and she was a delight. We asked for recommendations, and he suggested we try the typical Tropea fileja noodles with red onion (also typical of the area) and black olives... A total success! Plus, the view is spectacular, right in front of the beach. Since I was renting an umbrella nearby, it was perfect. I'm so happy to have found this place. I highly recommend it.

03/09/2025: very good authentic southern italian food. delicious fluffy and flavourful pizzas. the waitress was very nice. i would recommend to be able to speak a bit italian to communicate easier with the staff. tiramisu was also very good and fresh.

02/09/2025: The pizzas were anything but good, full of oil, and highly discouraged. The location is beautiful, with a lovely view, even at night. Unfortunately, however, we ordered two pizzas: one white with sausage, which was covered in oil and had tough mozzarella; the other, a "calzone," which, while more decent in flavor, was still subpar.

21/08/2025: Only the location saves this campsite. The water in the bathrooms isn't drinkable, but it's not indicated, so brushing my teeth was enough to make me sick. The only place where you can fill up with drinking water is in poor sanitary conditions. Let's just say the drinking water is ideal for filling the camper's tank. You have to buy water. A bottle costs three euros, and the supermarkets are far away. I'm a hiker, so I'm used to adapting and making do with what I find, but if I pay you €45 a day, you have to provide me with the toilets. The bathrooms are neglected, and if you want hot showers, you have to make do with a trickle. I won't be returning, and I don't recommend it. I'm only here because they took my reservation. Tropea is beautiful.

20/08/2025: The pitches are super tidy; they always come by in the morning to clear leaves. The size is more than adequate for a 7.4-foot camper with four people. The only downside is that there are free showers...but they're limited. The price is in line with the location.

19/07/2025: Sara och Antonio som driver Caffè del Corso är mycket trevliga. Deras glass och tartufo är riktigt bra. Antonio gör egen bergamottlikör som han gör goda spritz av.

22/08/2025: The restaurant is on the road, with easy parking and a beautiful view of the sea. The outdoor seating is fairly quiet, and the service is acceptable. The food wasn't the best.

20/08/2025: We went here for pizza, but by 8:30 PM they had run out of pizza dough. No big deal, we thought; we'd just order a fish first course or second course: a bad choice. The pasta was overcooked and tasteless. As for the second course, we ordered fried calamari, but were served poor-quality fried squid, which was inedible in texture and flavor, and was badly fried. The bill was extremely high, completely out of line with the quality of the food served. In conclusion: a terrible experience.

26/07/2025: Ristorante letteralmente a due passi dal centro. Ambiente molto accogliente e personale super disponibile ed attento alla cura del cliente. Pizza ottima e piatti a base di pesce eccezionali. È senza dubbio il mio ristorante preferito in zona.

24/06/2025: posto semplice ed accogliente: sia pizzeria che trattoria, veloci nel servizio. Ottimo cibo senza tanti orpelli. Peccato rimanga fuorimano: se non lo conosci, non lo trovi.

22/08/2025: It's no longer the same place it once was, where eating was a real pleasure. Calling it pizza is a big word, it felt like eating baked bread with ingredients on top 🤦 ps. Change the tomato you use, it's acidic and flavorless. Now let's talk about the food; the 3 stars come from there because the pasta was good even though the clams were farmed and not real. They were good, though, as was the fried calamari, even though you could count the pieces on one hand. The staff was perfect, polite, and helpful.

18/08/2025: Excellent service, friendly staff despite the crowd. We were a little disappointed with the pizza, as the dough was completely bland. It's a shame it didn't meet our expectations.

04/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel for just one night, passing through the Calabrian mountains. The room had been booked at least twenty days in advance, but I wasn't told that Monday is the restaurant's weekly rest day. The hotel, in fact, functions primarily as a banquet restaurant and, secondarily, as a hotel, mostly for ceremonies with guests traveling and therefore staying for one or more nights. We were therefore greeted by a waiter instructed by the manager to come to the hotel for our arrival. We arrived at the hotel in the early afternoon and were assigned a charming room, all furnished in wood, certainly in a style appropriate for a mid-mountain location like Spadola. However, there was no air conditioning, so it was warm (the sun was shining on it, as you can see in the photo), and it most likely hadn't even been ventilated the night before! Fortunately, the temperature dropped that evening, and the discomfort subsided. The rooms do not have mini-fridges, and the balcony connects to adjacent rooms. This means the shutters must be closed for obvious security reasons, unless someone you trust is staying nearby. The next morning's breakfast was a bit disappointing, as there were no pastries, no other sweets, no yogurt, no fruit, only packaged snacks or biscuits, along with, of course, milk, tea, and coffee. We didn't even have a chance to meet the manager on the day of departure, so we were instructed to pay the waiter who greeted us upon arrival. The hotel is pet-friendly, but I honestly didn't dare take my dog ​​out, as there were three dogs roaming the hotel grounds, and one of them was visibly bothered by my dog. A word of advice to the management...don't offer accommodations on the day the restaurant is closed, because assistance is essential! A warm welcome and customer service can help mitigate any potential shortcomings or even make an already pleasant stay even better. If this is your management policy, given that it was a stay booked well in advance, at least consider offering a more thoughtful breakfast! In all the years we've spent vacationing in Calabria, we've never seen packaged snacks for breakfast, not even in B&Bs, let alone in a hotel that's primarily a restaurant 😕🤔...

07/09/2025: Fabulous seafood dinner with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. I recommend the seafood tagliolini and the peppered Tropea-style pasta.

24/05/2025: Créelo cuando lea las fotos y descripciones junto con los ingredientes no se acerquen a los “sundaes” que hacen Lamentablemente, incluso el helado es pobre en comparación con cualquier otro lugar que probé en Tropea. Simplemente tienen una gran ubicación para que la gente vea Si quieres un buen helado. No pierdas el tiempo No puedes comer atmósfera Ganarás yendo a cualquier otro lugar de la ciudad Revisé mi favorito btw. En conclusión. Un cebo y cambio en su máxima expresión No te molestes.

12/07/2025: Di solito scrivo una recensione solo se positiva, ma quando un cliente si lamenta e non riceve nemmeno una spiegazione o un "mi dispiace", allora forse con una recensione scritta forse viene ascoltato. Ho chiesto un piatto che nel menu viene descritto come "filetto di maiale con costine", invece mi è stato servito una carne che sembrava una braciola divisa in due, dura e piena di nervi, immangiabile. Non ho mai visto un filetto di maiale con l'osso. Le costine ovviamente erano metà grasso, quindi nel totale avrò mangiato l'equivalente ad una piccola bisteca. Oltre che dura la carne aveva un retrogusto di leggermente scaduta. Inoltre abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora per ogni piato. Il locale era pieno e ci sta un'attesa un po' più lunga, ma mezz'ora è tanto. Capisco che in un posto di mare si mangia meglio il pesce, ma allora forse è meglio lasciar perdere la carne. Ci hanno dato un sconto di 3 euro per l'accaduto...
