03/08/2024: Pessima esperienza. Siamo stati in questo ristorante con altri amici, erano presenti anche due bambini. Arrivati alle 9 ordiniamo subito, chiedendo delle patatine per i bambini, per ingannare l’attesa. Arrivano le bevande, la cameriera aveva sbagliato la comanda. Può succedere, ci diciamo. Dopo 1h chiediamo alla cameriera a che punto fossero le patatine, poiché i bambini erano affamati. Lei sollecita. Altra attesa. Mangiamo le patatine ma della pizza nemmeno l’ombra. Alle 22,45 arrivano 4 delle 6 pizze ordinate, peccato che fossero tutte sbagliate,poiché palesemente la cameriera aveva sbagliato a prendere l ordine. Stremati ed affamati, decidiamo di tenerle comunque. Nel mentre esce nuovamente il cameriere,scusandosi e chiedendo nuovamente i gusti delle pizze mancanti, dicendo che “la comanda si era macchiata e non riuscivano a leggerla”. Attendiamo altri 15minuti per le ultime due pizze, che, come testimonia la foto, arrivano palesemente crude ed immaginabili. Al momento del conto, sconvolti, facciamo presente tutti i disservizi, oltre al fatto di aver atteso ore senza aver potuto mangiare nulla…la loro risposta è stata “ci dispiace,non possiamo farci nulla, sono cose che capitano, la prossima volta faremo meglio”. Ovviamente, non ci vedranno mai più.

01/08/2024: Tutto perfetto,il cibo delizioso in modo particolare,i calamari fritti,superlativi.La vista è sulla piazza e sul castello, molto bello.

31/07/2024: We hebben hier gegeten, we kregen entrecote (voor 23 euro) dat zo erg doorbakken was dat het niet te kauwen was. Toen we terug gingen met het vlees bij het personeel gaven ze aan dat we teveel ervan hadden gegeten (een paar happen om te beoordelen) kregen vervolgens er ook niks voor terug. Pizza’s waren verder oké. Ik zou dit niet aanraden

24/08/2024: 08/2024 coffee bar pastry shop in Mesiano, on the Vibo Valentia Tropea area. The breakfast was good, really fresh and fragrant croissants or croissants filled with cream and chocolate at the moment

25/08/2024: Da provare le braciole di riso , di patate (le palle di Ciola) e di carne, che si rassomigliano alle crocchette, ma che sono veramente di una bontà incredibile. Prezzi modici, personale cortese, ambiente carino.

08/08/2024: Good pizza, menu with lots of choice. The kebab is also good. I recommend the pizza with kebab: fantastic! Furthermore, the owner prepares an excellent pinsa, very light and digestible. I take it very often and I would definitely recommend it. Good prices, also open at midday. There are some tables both outside and inside for eating on site.

05/08/2024: We waited more than 45 minutes to have 4 small and ordinary bruschette and another 45 minutes to have 2 pasta dishes with various seasonal fish. Hunger was gone and so was the pleasure of eating. It's sorely lacking in organization; also not able to get a pizza out in a reasonable time. A word of advice: stop thinking about scamming tourists because people will eventually know about it!

04/08/2024: 03/08/24 Thank you for the owner's willingness to find a solution, having not booked as we were tourists passing through with our family. Both excellent pizzeria and restaurant we had dinner in both ways. Friendliness makes the difference. I highly recommend this place with 10 and praise.

25/08/2024: Fileja with 'nduja, pecorino and spectacular onion chips, for the second course tuna with onion very good, I would suggest cutting the onion into strips instead of putting it in whole slices. Price normal.

24/08/2024: Terrible place with tables one on top of the other and no toilets. If you need to use the bathroom they send you to a room next door. Equally bad service with exorbitant waiting times, so much so that you have to cancel the order of the second courses. The food is acceptable, but paying €92 for a small sample of onion, two first courses, a beer and a bottle of water seems a little exaggerated to me, also because the food was nothing exceptional. Strongly not recommended.

28/07/2024: Pranzo con amica in questo locale nel centro di Tropea. Cibo di ottima qualità e variegato. Prezzi oltre la norma. Consiglierei le porzioni più abbondanti visto l'eccessivo costo.

26/06/2024: Ristorante con dehor dove vengono proiettate le partite di calcio. Un menù con più piatti di carne che non di pesce. Di molto buono abbiamo mangiato l hamburger con le patatine. Il tagliere di salumi e formaggi era appena sufficiente e gli spaghetti con vongole e cozze sembravano un piatto di pasta in bianco a cui avevano aggiunto dopo i molluschi...non era amalgamato. Spesa sui 40 euro a persona per una cena così così Pablera e signora

26/08/2024: The small square where the restaurant is located is the only positive note! The three of us had dinner at an outside table...I can only say that the best thing was the Peroni that I drank...imagine the rest!

28/08/2024: WRONG!!!!!!!!! LITTLE CLARITY. A bit long review but I hope you read it all. I found out about this restaurant through Instagram. I was struck by the view and especially by the table in front of the window where you can see a beautiful panorama. I book with a WhatsApp message asking, for lunch, the table in front of the window (the only one and only the others were distributed around the room which in any case have a view...even a table is near the balcony). Perfect shame that when I get there they ask me if I knew how it worked. I imagined it like any other restaurant. No. If you sit in front of the panoramic window you must necessarily consume two dishes each. This was not specified to me during booking. Once there we accept the proposal and sit down. We were given a menu without prices saying that we could take what we wanted (referring to two dishes each) and the cost would be €60.00 per person. We ordered two appetizers and two first courses. The starters are really skimpy compared to the price, while the first course is more abundant. The appetizers ordered did not have a surcharge or certainly it was not written on the menu but when the bill came the cost increased. We took the dish of the day: spaghetti with lobster sauce. In this case we were not told that the dish of the day had another cost (higher obviously). Then we add a glass of wine and a bottle of water. Long story short, two of us paid €220.00. Scrolled from start to finish. Lack of clarity which deceives the customer. The quality of the food must be paid for and I agree with it, at the same time I demand clarity to allow me to decide whether it is worth it or not.

27/08/2024: So, my girlfriend and I were on holiday in the splendid Tropea and, wanting to eat in a beautiful place for the occasion, we chose this place following the photos seen on the internet. We booked the table overlooking the sea during the sunset to have an experience to remember, when we arrived on site they made us sit at the booked table and only after having sat down did we find out, thanks to the staff, that the chosen table had a separate menu , which required a minimum spend of 60 euros for 2 courses and 75 euros per person for 3, excluding side dishes. The news, being kids anyway, made us laugh a little, but now sitting at the table we preferred not to say anything and looked at the menu. The food however, of course, was delicious, fresh and very tasty. The setting was very fascinating, the sunset over the sanctuary was breathtaking, however the table was quite "narrow" without much possibility of moving, the bathroom was nothing special. The discreet service, little analysis of the dishes when they were served, staff anxiously staring at the customers and as I mentioned before the detail of the different menu which we were not aware of until we sat down (without the possibility of choosing and in any case obviously finding ourselves in an embarrassing situation). In total for 2 starters, 2 second courses, 1 side dish and a bottle of water we spent 150 euros. We still spent a beautiful evening with a wonderful view, but we would have preferred to know the various details regarding the menu first, thus being free to choose.

25/08/2024: Gelato di ottima qualità, locale pulito e ordinato, le ragazze garbate per non parlare della proprietaria gentile e a modo, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

23/08/2024: Non solo colazione sublime ogni giorno, ma anche apertivi, amari fatti in casa e tartufi che a Pizzo se li sognano. La Proprietaria è adorabile, attenta, dolce, professionale. Siamo contenti di averla conosciuta e siamo oltremodo felici di consigliare questo locale dove le cose si fanno bene, col cuore, con esperienza e come Vuole La vera tradizione. Diffidate di altre recensioni. Qua ne vale davvero la pena. Bravi!!!!

27/08/2023: Everything extremely fantastic! Perfect and impeccable service, a culture of their vast choice of beers that is impressive to say the least, sandwiches of astonishing quality, just think that just to eat their sandwich again after 2 days I drove 100km again!
