05/03/2025: Great location, elegant table setting, nothing to be faulted about the food. We ordered seafood: grilled swordfish, grilled local fish (this is how it appears on the menu, without specifying the species) and shrimps. A good Italian school of seafood preparation. We also ordered local wine in a carafe - usually home-made, local wines are a bit less sophisticated, and here it was very good.

18/06/2025: Fantastic place with sea view. Well located restaurant with a position that everyone would envy. We ate the filejia alla tropeana, truly delicious! In addition, the seafood salad was truly excellent!! A round of applause to the guys in the dining room and the maitre, kind and very helpful! Highly recommended!

17/06/2025: It's has a great location but, unfortunately, the food quality and taste are below standard. We were served an overcooked pasta that was too soft. They salad was tasteless. The staff was kind. It was also overpriced for what we got. I do not recommend this location if you care more about good food than good location.

17/06/2025: I believe that the Lord has decided to place a corner of paradise on this coast., however the locals seem not to have noticed. Having said that, the rest area presents several contradictions. The pitches are clean and large enough and shaded thanks to the tarps. It is located directly in front of the sea. Now the sore points, which concern the cleanliness of the sinks and especially the showers. Free hot water is provided from 8.00 to 12.00, from 16.00 to 22.00, but this is in theory. It is enough that 2 showers out of 10 are open at the same time, that the flow of water is reduced to a trickle!!! If you want to see the village you can take advantage of it, but be careful of the absurd traffic and especially the terrible condition of the roads, which are on the edge of dangerous. To conclude, once in a lifetime you can tolerate it, more absolutely not......

14/06/2025: A beautiful, clean campsite where everything worked. Water supply and disposal, shady pitches under trees, a beautiful, clean beach. At €15/day for a motorhome, two people, and a dog, it's also very affordable. It's a 5-minute walk to the beautiful old town with its numerous restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

19/01/2025: Something shameful, I order 6 takeaway pizzas on the spot, they tell me I have to wait half an hour, I wait 40 minutes and ask if it would still take that long, they tell me to go and ask, which doesn't happen because they continue to do as they please, after almost 52 minutes of waiting I left without the pizzas, terrible service, never again!

06/12/2024: bellissimo locale curato e pulito al centro di serra san bruno. cucina eccellente con piatti veramente molto saporiti e abbondanti consiglio maialino ai frutti.. una vera delizia per il palato..consiglio se vi trovate da quelle parti di fermarvi in questo posto.

18/11/2024: I was there just yesterday with my family, nothing to say! The dishes were one better than the other, the boy who welcomed us and then served us was of impeccable professionalism and unique friendliness, he loves his job and it shows! The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful! The environment is really welcoming, it feels very "homey", you immediately feel at ease... Not only do I recommend it, but I will definitely return!

15/04/2025: Nice little bar in Nicotera. You can sit outside and have a wonderful view of the Bay of Nicotera. The coffee was hot and good. The lady who served us was friendly and accommodating. All in all a good stay.

05/07/2025: We stayed in this hotel and I have to say there is a lot to improve... the shuttle only two times... the food is decent... at the bar of the lido there is no fruit available, showers even for hotel guests for a fee with a limited time token... no showers for dogs and fenced walking area. non-existent. No requests from the staff for any allergic problems of the customer. Too bad the place is wonderful and also the structure.

24/05/2025: Créelo cuando lea las fotos y descripciones junto con los ingredientes no se acerquen a los “sundaes” que hacen Lamentablemente, incluso el helado es pobre en comparación con cualquier otro lugar que probé en Tropea. Simplemente tienen una gran ubicación para que la gente vea Si quieres un buen helado. No pierdas el tiempo No puedes comer atmósfera Ganarás yendo a cualquier otro lugar de la ciudad Revisé mi favorito btw. En conclusión. Un cebo y cambio en su máxima expresión No te molestes.

30/04/2025: Zum Abschluss des Tages sind wir hier eingekehrt, um ein Eis zu essen. Der Außenbereich ist sehr gut gestaltet, mit großen Glasscheiben um die kühle Außenluft abzuhalten. Innen sind Geräte zum Wärmen aufgestellt und die Musikauswahl sehr ist gelungen. Das Eis schmeckt sehr gut, das Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

02/06/2025: Fabulous stay! It starts with the beauty of the location, swimming pool and then moves on to the excellent cleanliness of the rooms. Family-run place where the warmth of Katia, Nicola and Mr. Pasquale will make you feel at home. Respectable cuisine (super light pizza dough).

17/05/2025: My husband and I stopped by, it was almost midnight and we hadn't booked but the owner, Mrs. Pina, welcomed us anyway in a very friendly way. I had recently sprained my ankle so shortly after, on her own initiative, the lady knocked on our door to give me some ice to apply. I can say that it was a very welcome welcome in a very well-kept and clean facility.

Impeccable table service carried out by Mimmo, who is absent these days (but is still here!), by Paola and by Francesco. Five stars to all the staff... great professionals who put their heart into it! Previous review Il Frago is one more reason to choose to spend your holidays in Pizzo Calabro. I happened upon it by chance, together with my husband, walking along the beautiful seafront a few years ago and, since then, every holiday of ours in Calabria includes a return to Pizzo and to this place where we feel at home! Excellent food (both restaurant and pizzeria) for the quality of the raw materials, wisdom in the preparation of the dishes, generosity in the quantity. Great professionalism by Luigi who runs this restaurant pizzeria together with his brother Enzo, an unsurpassed pizza chef. Excellent table service, taken care of by capable staff, in particular by Mimmo and Pasquale. It is evident that, in addition to professionalism, there is a lot of heart in what the managers and staff do. Honest prices. I recommend it without reservations.
