11/10/2025: Stayed for work and out of summer season (important). No lunch, yes dinner. I've always eaten well, sometimes (almost always) too much, the portions were huge, and then you'd go to bed feeling like a truck unloading. Jokes aside, since it was out of season, he always asked what we wanted for breakfast in the morning, and was always very kind and helpful. Both the appetizers, first courses, and second courses were good, but from personal experience, never go full, because afterward you can't sleep 😂😂

28/08/2025: I had an unforgettable stay at the Nautilus Hotel in Nicotera Marina during my summer vacation. The welcome was warm and professional from the first moment: the staff were helpful, smiling, and always ready to satisfy every need. The rooms were impeccable: clean, bright, and tastefully furnished, with a comfortable bed (back pain-free) and a modern bathroom featuring quality amenities. The view from the room overlooked the garden, and the hotel terrace was the perfect setting for relaxing at sunset. The cuisine was a pleasant surprise: a rich and varied breakfast with fresh ingredients (the cakes baked personally by the owner are legendary) and high-quality dinners with creative dishes and authentic flavors. The dining room service was impeccable, aided by the friendliness of Mr. Tonino and the cooperation of his children, with timely delivery and meticulous attention to detail. The common areas were impeccable, and the location was strategic: close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and attractions, yet still quiet enough for a relaxing vacation. Overall, it was a relaxing vacation: a welcoming atmosphere, high standards of quality, and service that exceeded expectations. I can't wait to return and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and a flawless stay. Hullo, Tonino and his tireless family!

08/11/2025: The location is very nice from the outside. I'd revisit the rooms, but I find them a bit too old-fashioned. Breakfast is excellent and freshly baked. Location just steps from the center.

23/08/2025: Truly an excellent hotel with very polite staff and owners who take the utmost care of their guests. The cleanliness is truly excellent. The restaurant serves authentic, carefully prepared homemade dishes, and every day there's something new for breakfast, with everything a guest could desire. My wife and I stayed for a week and were truly satisfied with everything. Thank you to the owners and a heartfelt thank you to the staff. I will definitely be back. Thank you.

24/02/2025: Ristorante molto carino...abbiamo scelto il menù alla carta dall'antipasto al dolce. È stato tutto di nostro gradimento..peccato per i ravioli dove la riduzione di porcini sovrastava gli altri ingredienti e il pesce spada un pó asciutto...nel complesso ottimi piatti. Consigliato. Ritorneremo per assaggiare le altre preparazioni.

07/10/2025: We felt quite comfortable here overall. The staff are friendly, and there are plenty of nice shady spots under trees or nets. The beach is beautiful, and the view of Stromboli Island is simply stunning. It’s a bit of a pity that there are some dog droppings around the trees – it seems to be a popular place for dog owners, though that’s certainly not the owner’s fault. The sanitary facilities look like they date back to the early 1990s and could really use an update. Still, for the location and atmosphere, we’re happy to give four stars.

15/05/2025: Incredible!!! We've enjoyed excellent aperitivos here twice already. The low price doesn't reflect the outstanding quality of the authentic food. The ambiance and the very friendly staff made the evening a highlight. Thank you for that!

11/05/2025: This restaurant is not worth visiting. Food is overpriced and simply not good (served on plastic (!) plates )- same goes for the service - waiters are buzzing around you constantly, talking on their walkie-talkies like they are in a swat team (mind that at the time only 3 tables were taken) making it impossible to enjoy the meal (not that there is much to enjoy). Stay away for your own good.

24/08/2025: A great place to spend a pleasant evening with friends. This cocktail bar is located in Nicotera's main square, with a breathtaking view and a wide selection of high-quality spirits. Excellent aperitifs and a very professional staff. Highly recommended 🤩🤩

17/10/2025: We have had some great meals at some really good restaurants in our two weeks in Italy and this place was our run away favourite - we ate here 3 times. Our favourite dishes were the Fileja la Rossa (pasta with tomatoes, onion, olives and capers - perfect) and the Mastru Totu Pizza (topped with tomato, olives, capers, anchovies and burrata (like a cold Mozzarella but better)). Sitting outside in the small square beside the restaurant was a beautiful and peaceful place to eat. The service was brilliant. They were very apologetic that their internet was not working and we had to pay by cash (I am not sure why that would be an issue - I managed to live for 35 years without the Internet). In writing this review I am a bit shocked to see quite a few poor reviews. Hard to understand why, based on our experience this restaurant is brilliant.

13/10/2025: The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, even with our little girls. The atmosphere was romantic and quaint, with a lovely outdoor terrace. Superb food featuring fish, octopus, and Tropea red onions. Highly recommended.

26/08/2025: A good beach. Spacious umbrellas with all the amenities. The beach has showers and bathrooms. The restaurant is a bit basic, but offers sufficient food. The breakfasts, with hot, fresh croissants, are a very positive note. Overall, a good beach.

01/11/2025: My favorite place for dinner in Tropea. Delicious food at absolutely fair prices. Lots of fish dishes, a very good wine selection. The Osteria is truly a little gem, tucked away in a quiet side street in the old town. Anyone looking for a relaxing evening with good food in Tropea should definitely stop by.

03/11/2025: So first of all they make us wait 2 hours maximum for the pizzas (once they arrived after 3 hours) but oh well the food is good cricche and arancini and other good things but the pizza is good but very hard and the environment 1 because there is no room to park the cars then the very nice environment the music is everything else but the waitresses (except the cook who is very kind) are a bit unpleasant and let's not talk about the prices everything very expensive

05/11/2025: Don't be fooled by appearances, it doesn't look like much and the service wasn't at all warm... But the food was excellent: quality products, simple yet expertly cooked, we ate very well and left with full and satisfied stomachs!

05/11/2025: Are you hungry? Go for it! The food reminds me of my family's... but better! It's absolutely delicious! The flavors and the dishes are impeccable! Grazie mille! (Just a minor complaint about the service; could they be a little more friendly and welcoming?)
