19/02/2026: Housed in a renovated old building, but with limitations. Air conditioning is a bit noisy. Breakfast isn't very varied.

18/01/2026: An excellent property located in the city center. The staff is excellent and makes guests feel at home, and the rooms are spotless.

17/10/2025: We have had some great meals at some really good restaurants in our two weeks in Italy and this place was our run away favourite - we ate here 3 times. Our favourite dishes were the Fileja la Rossa (pasta with tomatoes, onion, olives and capers - perfect) and the Mastru Totu Pizza (topped with tomato, olives, capers, anchovies and burrata (like a cold Mozzarella but better)). Sitting outside in the small square beside the restaurant was a beautiful and peaceful place to eat. The service was brilliant. They were very apologetic that their internet was not working and we had to pay by cash (I am not sure why that would be an issue - I managed to live for 35 years without the Internet). In writing this review I am a bit shocked to see quite a few poor reviews. Hard to understand why, based on our experience this restaurant is brilliant.

13/10/2025: The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, even with our little girls. The atmosphere was romantic and quaint, with a lovely outdoor terrace. Superb food featuring fish, octopus, and Tropea red onions. Highly recommended.

09/03/2026: My husband thought the pizza was too big. The pizza was too heavy and too sloppy. I've been eating pizza for so long that I've been eating it too long. It's been great! And the gelato is so delicious it's so hard to eat it. My husband used to say he didn't like pizza, that it was bready and dry. I decided to debunk this myth and I made the right choice when I chose your pizza. It was excellent! The ice cream was also incomparable compared to others we've tried.

03/11/2025: So first of all they make us wait 2 hours maximum for the pizzas (once they arrived after 3 hours) but oh well the food is good cricche and arancini and other good things but the pizza is good but very hard and the environment 1 because there is no room to park the cars then the very nice environment the music is everything else but the waitresses (except the cook who is very kind) are a bit unpleasant and let's not talk about the prices everything very expensive

20/12/2025: A place with the unique atmosphere of an old Italian diner. The pizza is unique, with a rather thick crust, but very tasty. Good house wine. All this at affordable prices. The service is friendly and helpful. It's worth arriving around 7 p.m., as the restaurant and the outdoor tables fill up quickly.

27/10/2025: Frozen seafood appetizers preserved in oil. Linguine full of oil. Seafood pasta full of oil but tasty. Desserts inedible. Fried fish generous and average. Pasta with tomato sauce acceptable.

30/10/2025: This is the second campsite; it's at the end of the road. Frankly, compared to what we've seen, it's certainly not luxurious, but it's clean. A man comes by every morning to clean the restrooms; they're a bit worn, but still clean. The staff are very pleasant. It's very well located for the beach (direct access) and for visiting the town. For your information, we've been traveling for a month, so we've encountered some less than ideal, less clean campsites for this time of year.

21/10/2025: We stayed for 4 days and had a wonderful time. The location was excellent, very close to the sea. Efficient and comfortable services, close to the historic center. I highly recommend it.

25/08/2025: Deeply disappointed. Thinking back to several years ago, I find the truffles smaller, the fillings minimal, and the prices have almost tripled. I understand the inflation, but there seems to have been a dramatic change in direction in the business. The truffles aren't like they used to be, but they're still good, but like others, so I'll go elsewhere for future purchases given the price.

17/03/2026: The food tasted very good, but the prices were far too high. Charging 20 euros for a portion of pasta with ONE shrimp is a rip-off. For 20 euros, I expected a large portion full of shrimp. There are better restaurants in Tropea.

10/11/2025: Delicious food and very attentive service. A great place for lunch. They offer a lunch menu with first and second courses, a good selection of wines, and decent coffee with Amaro del Capo.

10/01/2026: Can't give any stars. Their website said they were open, so having wandered around in a storm in the dark we finally found a closed pub. Very disappointing. :-( Better if you keep your hours accurate guys. :-)

25/02/2026: We stayed at this property for my niece's 18th birthday party and felt right at home... Mr. Franco at the front desk was friendly and attentive to our every need. The rooms were clean and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with homemade crostata and ciambella (a ring cake), as well as traditional Calabrian cured meats and excellent bread made by their pizza chef. The wooden reception room is stunning. The aperitif buffet was delicious, featuring rotisserie dishes prepared by Chef Lady Mina and Marco's pizza al pala (a slice). The Calabrian dinner was excellent, along with the marinated anchovies prepared by the owner, Enza. We'll be back this summer...

06/01/2026: We were there with a tour group; the breakfast and dinner were disastrous. We had to retrieve our luggage from the bakery because it wasn't available at the hotel. In the evening, we had the same pasta with tomato sauce twice, only once with added chili. I will never stay at this hotel again.

15/09/2025: A culinary gem in the heart of Tropea I was fortunate enough to discover this Italian restaurant during my visit to Tropea this summer. From the very first moment, the atmosphere envelops you: warm, welcoming, and full of the typical charm of southern Italy. The outdoor tables overlooking the picturesque streets make every meal feel special, whether day or night. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very professional, always smiling. You can tell they enjoy what they do and want every customer to have an unforgettable experience. Every dish we tried was perfectly prepared, with fresh and authentic ingredients. The pizzas, in particular, deserve a special mention: light and crispy dough, sauce with the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity, and topping combinations that respect Italian tradition while still surprising. We also tried pastas and appetizers, and everything was of an extremely high standard. If you're in Tropea and looking for a place to eat really well, enjoy a charming atmosphere, and feel welcomed from the moment you walk in until you leave, you can't miss this restaurant.
