Don't order the gnocchi!!! They're worse than canned! The pizza was delicious. The dishes weren't served together; I'd already finished when my husband got his food.

My daughter and I ate there in March. The pizza is very good, no matter what you order. But I also ordered the ribs, and that was the biggest mistake. The dish looked very good, but unfortunately only on the outside. The meat was tough and bloody inside, like a beef steak. I highly recommend the pizza 😍 but NOT the ribs. It's a decent place, a great place to have a good time. Best regards to the staff.

We liked the food here - we ordered spaghetti carbonara & pizza mediterannea. The spaghetti were more al dente and thicker than what I am used to, but I didn’t mind, it was different, but I still liked it. Overall we liked the food and service, but I give 4 stars for service as there were only 3 waiters for the whole terrace and waited longer than expected to take our order.

Hostaria italiana is one of those places where, once you've been — you want to come back that very same evening. The food is absolutely divine: every bite feels crafted with genuine love and top-quality ingredients. A special shoutout to our waiter Usman — his recommendations for food and wine were spot on. Not the usual "this is popular" suggestions, but genuinely personalized advice that only a true connoisseur can give. Make sure to order the swordfish — incredibly prepared, bold and delicate at the same time. And the pasta... simply not to be missed. The service is warm, attentive and unobtrusive — exactly what you'd expect from a great restaurant. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic Italian dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic food! We spent five days in Tropea and ate here three times because we were so impressed with the pizza and wine. Lovely atmosphere, friendly waiters, fast service, and incredibly delicious pizza. Excellent value for money.

Delicious calamari, tender and perfectly seasoned. I asked for lemon, and the lady said she would bring it, but unfortunately, we didn't get it in the end. The carbonara was very good, although it could have used a bit more guanciale. The wine, however, was delicious. My cacio e pepe with truffles was an absolute hit – the best I've ever had! Plus, the portion was really large, bigger than my fiancé's carbonara. The drinks were also very tasty. Overall, a definitely positive visit. I recommend it.
