03/08/2025: Ottima esperienza. Locale molto accogliente con una bellissima veranda fronte mare dove puoi cenare gustandoti il venticello della brezza serale. Personale cortese. Ottimo abbinamento qualità e prezzo. L’antipasto di mare misto della casa e’ ricco e gustoso. Porzioni abbondanti e succulente. Da tornarci per gustare una buona cucina immersa nel panorama da cartolina di Scilla.

24/07/2025: Excellent pizza in both versions (thick Neapolitan version, thin and crispy Roman version); both the dough and the ingredients were excellent. The staff were very young and probably not very well trained in hospitality. A small criticism of the disposable plastic water cups provided, which is hard to understand in a context of environmental awareness. Highly recommended!

10/06/2025: Già conoscevamo la qualità della macelleria e gastronomia e gli ottimi salumi di Bruno Piccolo. Siamo stati a cena nel suo angolo ristorante e, devo dire che è stata una cena al top. Servizio attento al tavolo, ottima la tartare e il carpaccio, buonissima la tagliata di manzo e poi ci ha deliziato con un assaggino di spaghetti alla corte d’assise, veramente golosi. Il tutto accompagnato da un calice di ottimo vino (vasta la scelta delle cantine). Esperienza da ripetere sicuramente.

11/07/2025: A beautiful establishment in the heart of Canolo, beautifully nestled in the mountains. The food is excellent, and the service is truly excellent. I stumbled upon this place by mistake, and was also able to take advantage of the accommodation.

10/08/2025: A truly unique experience. After a half-hour drive along a road that winds through the mountains, you arrive in Galliciano, in the heart of Greek Calabria, where the very few remaining people still speak Byzantine Greek. The trattoria, with a small terrace and a wooden canopy, overlooks the village and the valley. The traditional set menu includes an appetizer, traditional pasta, goat cheese, and peasant wine.

07/08/2025: A remote place in the mountains, a truly peaceful haven. There's no phone service, so you're forced to admire, breathe in, and capture the view while enjoying the breeze. The tavern is like home, with excellent, authentic food. I recommend bringing cash and making a reservation. The food is plentiful and the menu is reasonably priced.

03/08/2025: Simply wonderful, elegant, and welcoming. The mixed fried fish and pizza were delicious. Impeccable service; the waiters and waitresses were very kind, courteous, and fast. Perfect value for money! I recommend this place to everyone! ❤️

09/06/2025: The cold cuts appetizer was really really great. The service was always impeccable. I liked the pizza a little less because I felt it wasn't very tasty but it was certainly due to the excessive saltiness of the cold cuts. Unique in some respects in the area.

25/04/2025: Gallicianò is an enchanting little place, and I hope it will remain so, partly due to the difficulty in getting there, partly due to the lack of public transport reaching it. And this restaurant is somewhat unique in a village of less than 100 inhabitants. Zero kilometer food, prepared in the village, thanks to the collaboration with the other inhabitants, and prepared with care. To satisfy travellers, they provide products available in the "nearby" Condofuri Marina. Don't expect service and environments like a large restaurant, which would also be out of place with the rural atmosphere of the place. They also have guest accommodation, at a ridiculous price.

07/07/2025: A beautiful discovery near Reggio Calabria. The restaurant is truly splendid, with a breathtaking view of the Strait and a very particular table arrangement inside a garden with Mediterranean plants. The cuisine is excellent, elegant, but substantial and typically regional. I really enjoyed the zucchini fritter, the red shrimp, the zucchini rolls, the sardines and the lobster pasta (the tomato sauce was delicious). The menu changes depending on the catch: synonymous with quality and seriousness. The wine list is rather short, but with some interesting regional selections. The service is nice and helpful.

13/05/2025: Excellent refreshment point where you can enjoy equally excellent house aperitifs in the two alcoholic or non-alcoholic versions. The outdoor tables in this period are a tempting invitation to spend some relaxing moments
