11/10/2025: It’s very pretty and the food is ok but the service quality is very poor; it takes ages to get anything, and there’s no lock on the toilet door AND staff just don’t pay attention so you have to yell at other customers not to come in when you’re in there. I don’t recommend it, there are other better places on the same street.

03/08/2025: Simply wonderful, elegant, and welcoming. The mixed fried fish and pizza were delicious. Impeccable service; the waiters and waitresses were very kind, courteous, and fast. Perfect value for money! I recommend this place to everyone! ❤️

09/06/2025: The cold cuts appetizer was really really great. The service was always impeccable. I liked the pizza a little less because I felt it wasn't very tasty but it was certainly due to the excessive saltiness of the cold cuts. Unique in some respects in the area.

06/10/2025: We had an all-around excellent lunch. Very accommodating and friendly restaurant owners. We felt very comfortable, and the food was excellent. You can see that in the photos. A top-notch place, reservations are recommended. We'll be back next year when we're in Scilla. Thank you!

29/09/2025: Raw fish starter was the best - oysters, red prawns, sworsfish carpaccio and crawfish were fresh and tasty. Pasta on the other hand was on the mediocre side. Ravioli and rissoto felt like something i could have made myself on a workday.

30/09/2025: I'm at home now!! A truly excellent place, especially convenient before the Reggio Calabria exit, spacious, very kind and helpful staff... extensive menus of meat and fish that are truly delicious... on a trip to Sicily, highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or dinner💪

13/09/2025: 5 stars are truly too few for the experience we had at this place!! In addition to writing how great I had it, I'll let the photos do the talking. I found this place online, so I based my review on it. The waiters were truly kind and very knowledgeable. The dishes were beautifully presented (even the eye deserves its share). An explosion of flavors, everything was delicious, every dish was beautifully presented. We were pampered from the door to the door. I recommend it with a double thumbs-up. Check out the photos because they're worth it!

10/10/2025: This was close to where I was staying, so we went twice. The food was excellent. The new owners have redone the place and the appearance is very pleasing. There is almost always a party or wedding on weekends, which adds to the festive atmosphere. I had the seafood, and the pizza. Both were done to perfection.

19/09/2025: What a wonderful place in the South! We came for a family event, and from first glance, it seemed like a charming place. This impression was confirmed immediately when we were greeted. The entire staff is always helpful and attentive, which made us feel truly welcome. We enjoyed pizza and fries, simple choices that allowed us to appreciate the excellent cuisine. The fries were truly delicious! They are very organized, and there's a pleasant sound that alerts the staff when an order is ready. This is a level of service I've never seen anywhere else.

20/09/2025: I'm sorry to have to write this review, but I feel it's my duty to those who, like me, rely on reviews to choose where to eat. I visited this local sandwich shop with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in every way. The staff, though adequately staffed, proved completely uncoordinated, with inexplicable wait times even when there were no customers. The sandwiches? Barely worthy of the name. The toppings were almost invisible, hidden between two slices of bread that, alone, could have told a more interesting story than the contents. All this was offered at exorbitant prices, far out of proportion to the quality and quantity offered. But what is most striking—and negative—is the attitude: an unjustified arrogance, a presumption that almost makes the customer seem like an intruder rather than a guest. I'm sorry to say this, but there's no need for improvement here: we need to start from scratch, with humility, awareness, and respect for those who choose to spend their time and money with you.

26/09/2025: Almost the entire table was covered in raw pizza, so much so that I had to ask for another. The second one was also burned, but I thought it was a shame to send it back again. Neapolitan dough, so to speak, since the edges were both there and not there. As for the Roman one, instead of crispy, it was soft, more like a piadina than a pizza. Not to mention I got the flavor wrong (the second time I got it right). We were all disappointed and won't be returning. As for the restaurant, it's leaking water from the plumbing and dripping into the middle of the tables. Aside from the visibly tired and perhaps a little listless waiters (but I don't think it's their fault, so I don't blame them), everything else was as described. Not even a discount or anything after the inconvenience.

21/09/2025: The best pizzas I've ever eaten in my life! I went there twice in three days. However, please reserve your table, especially on weekends. During the week, it's very quiet. On the other hand, on weekends, it's very crowded (a victim of its own success).

20/09/2025: A bar with a stunning view, a very well-kept location. You can also rent umbrellas and loungers, otherwise it's a free beach. The lunch menu features fabulous fish sandwiches (check out the photos on Instagram for a treat), of which I recommend the swordfish + dried tomatoes or the octopus + stracciatella. The quality of the ingredients is fresh, and the combination of flavors is very delicate. They also offer tartare and fried fish. While I have absolutely no complaints about the quality-price ratio of the food (although perhaps the only high one is the tuna tartare), I think the service charge and lounger/umbrella rental fee should be reviewed (at the nearby beach clubs, which are exclusively equipped, the cost is 10 euros). But this is truly a minor flaw in a genuine setting, with helpful and welcoming staff, on a stretch of coastline that rivals the Caribbean Sea!

18/09/2025: Lido Oltremare is a true gem by the sea! 🌊 The food is simply incredible: from the freshest fish sandwiches to the flavorful friselle, to the truly surprising pinza. Each dish exudes the care and attention paid to the selection of ingredients, all of which are of excellent quality. The staff is always courteous and helpful, making you feel immediately at ease. The prices are also truly fair, especially considering the quality and freshness of the products offered. A place that combines good food, hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere: highly recommended!

31/08/2025: Dining at Drogheria Culinaria in Reggio Calabria was a memorable experience. My friend and I were warmly welcomed by the owner, a stylish and charismatic Calabrian woman whose passion for her cuisine was evident. She not only served us superb dishes but also shared a recipe with a touch of humor and warmth. Her hospitality and culinary expertise left a lasting impression, making me eager to return and share this gem with more friends.
