10/09/2024: The place is very beautiful and well-kept. The menu is small and not all the dishes listed are available. We took a fish starter which included octopus in sauce, 1 crunchy prawn (exquisite) and swordfish parmigiana. The venison was good, but they could have put a side dish. The larded monkfish was delicious. The prices are high, but the quality of the ingredients is excellent. I couldn't finish the dessert or babà, as it had been reheated and only the alcohol could be tasted. I recommend leaving it fresh, it will certainly taste better.

Questo ristorante offre non solo un’atmosfera accogliente e raffinata, ma anche una cucina che sa sorprendere a ogni portata. L’ambiente è un perfetto mix tra rustico ed elegante: pareti in pietra a vista, soffitti con travi in legno e luci soffuse che creano un’atmosfera intima. Ideale sia per una cena romantica che per un’occasione speciale con amici o famiglia.

06/09/2024: We met Antonino while he was loading 4 goats into his panda. He invited us to have lunch on his shady and airy porch. He brought us an appetizer and some good wine. We ate pasta alla norma with a special salted ricotta, exceptional sausage and delicious stewed goat. Antonino is a perfect host, friendly and full of energy. At the end of the meal he called Mimmo who showed us the city and had us open the bar to have coffee. Thanks for your hospitality :)

05/09/2024: Of course, the road is long and winding from the seaside but such an experience is worth it. We had the privilege of tasting on a terrace between heaven and earth, a choice of generous and authentic antipasti which preceded penne à la Norma and a delicious goat's cheese stew. The service is masterfully provided by Nino, his face lit by two sparkling green eyes and a dazzling smile. Unforgettable moment to reproduce.

20/10/2024: Excellent pastries, abundant in cream. A little too sweet for my taste, but eaten in an instant.

13/08/2024: I ordered a birthday cake, in addition to respecting the required aesthetics we were pleasantly surprised by the taste! I had asked for a chocolate layer and a cream layer, beyond the very fresh product, the chocolate layer was not the classic cream but variegated with nutrlla with a crunchy touch that made the cake special!!!

24/02/2025: 'You eat better at a caritas!' One of the worst places I have ever eaten in Calabria, although eating well in Calabria is difficult, not due to the raw materials but due to the lack of knowledge of the often basic rules of cooking in many trattorias. Lamb ribs with the typical stench of game, this does not happen if the person preparing them knows the correct procedure for cooking this type of meat. Mix of mixed meat to shiver, chewy meat and little variety in the plating: half a sausage, a steak thrown in at random and a slice of raw chicken among other things, (chicken is highly dangerous if not cooked to the core), we ask the waiter to recook the meat, returning after 10 minutes with the same steak without even an apology, all this without a minimum of side dish, dish costing €11 but what about it was worth maybe €3. Very poor house starter, consisting of 1 slice of only 3 cured meats that didn't look fresh at all, a tiny bowl with olives, 1/10 of nduja, a ricotta and a pancake, €10 which was worth perhaps €3. House wine practically like drinking water, service as always characteristic of Reggio where no one considers you if you don't call them continuously, they take away your cutlery and leave you without it, that is, I've never seen such a scandalous place. Ah, they offer you bitters, and these dicks!

25/03/2025: The food is excellent... They cook stockfish in many ways, the pizza is delicious, the room is large, from the veranda you can admire a wonderful view of the Gioia Tauro plain... Very clean environment, there is plenty of parking...

31/03/2025: La carne piu buona di reggio calabria, anche gli antipasti le fritture ed i piatti tipici. il vino il filetto la fonduta tutto di un livello stellare. Locale pulitissimo, personale capace e preparato. In realtà per la quantità abbondante e per la qualità elle materie prime, i prezzi non sono alti.

20/03/2025: Posto molto accogliente, la proprietaria è una persona gentilissima. Abbiamo provato lo stocco in varie versioni, tutte buonissime. Da consigliare assolutamente il carpaccio di stocco con cipolla, mandorle, capperi e zenzero e il millefoglie di stocco. Davvero originale e consigliato anche per chi non mangia lo stocco. Ritorneremo sicuramente

Why? 1) the best calzones, large, thin dough and abundant filling, no extra charge for those who eat lactose-free 2) the prices are very honest and I hope they always maintain them 3) the assize court is extremely good 4) the grilled fries are fantastic 5) possibility of choosing between many rustic options, no rotisserie in the area offers so much I am a regular customer for these reasons. I love rotisserie and this is the best for me both in terms of quality and prices. Remain as you are.
