02/11/2025: Highly recommended restaurant. We had lunch yesterday with a reservation made the day before. The staff was kind, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and never intrusive. We were served by Gianni, who had a great experience and guided us through the wine selection, which turned out to be spot on. The appetizers, first courses, and second courses were all high-quality and served with appropriate portions. If I return to Reggio Calabria, I will definitely book here to try other specialties from the extensive menu. Well done!!!

23/10/2025: Home-style cooking... with exquisite taste... Truly delicious. We followed the waitress's recommendation and ordered the shellfish pasta... Absolutely amazing! The pistachio tartufo was excellent. A simple yet very friendly atmosphere. The people were genuinely kind. We went twice but regret not coming more often. We recommend it 100%.

09/11/2025: Charming atmosphere, competent service, and a selection of meats. The menus offer a variety of meats. We chose the five-course menu featuring different types of meat, all very well cooked. The appetizers, cheeses, and cured meats were plentiful and of good quality. The service was competent and professional. Kudos to the owner, who, in addition to being a skilled butcher (the butcher's shop is located upstairs), is also an excellent cook. What can I say? I'll gladly return.

28/09/2025: The best granita I've ever had in all of southern Italy!! Homemade granita made by the owner, with a real fruit flavor. If you're passing through Reggio Calabria, don't hesitate to order one. I recommend the strawberry one—with cream it's even better. The service is friendly, the waiter is very pleasant, and the location is hard to beat, right next to the cathedral.

20/09/2025: A bar with a stunning view, a very well-kept location. You can also rent umbrellas and loungers, otherwise it's a free beach. The lunch menu features fabulous fish sandwiches (check out the photos on Instagram for a treat), of which I recommend the swordfish + dried tomatoes or the octopus + stracciatella. The quality of the ingredients is fresh, and the combination of flavors is very delicate. They also offer tartare and fried fish. While I have absolutely no complaints about the quality-price ratio of the food (although perhaps the only high one is the tuna tartare), I think the service charge and lounger/umbrella rental fee should be reviewed (at the nearby beach clubs, which are exclusively equipped, the cost is 10 euros). But this is truly a minor flaw in a genuine setting, with helpful and welcoming staff, on a stretch of coastline that rivals the Caribbean Sea!

18/09/2025: Lido Oltremare is a true gem by the sea! 🌊 The food is simply incredible: from the freshest fish sandwiches to the flavorful friselle, to the truly surprising pinza. Each dish exudes the care and attention paid to the selection of ingredients, all of which are of excellent quality. The staff is always courteous and helpful, making you feel immediately at ease. The prices are also truly fair, especially considering the quality and freshness of the products offered. A place that combines good food, hospitality, and a relaxing atmosphere: highly recommended!

The food was simply exceptional: refined, abundant dishes prepared with great attention to quality. All our guests were thrilled, and I still receive compliments on our choice. 14/10/2025: If you want to eat well but don't have much time, you've found the right place. High-quality rotisserie and traditional cuisine. Need some advice? Try the Sicilian Pidoni, the arancini, and, during this time of year, the rice salad. Then there's the lasagna, which is fabulous. Also try the stew.

20/08/2025: I only had dinner there for 4 evenings. Very kind, fast and above all you eat really a lot and well. I would add that the spaghetti alla Corte d'Assise were created by them. So I've said it all.

30/07/2025: Great for a family beach vacation! Rooms equipped with refrigerators, TVs, and air conditioning; balconies for hanging towels and swimsuits! Excellent restaurant with a variety of choices.

18/08/2025: Absolutely delicious and very nice, simple yet friendly atmosphere. My fritto misto and Aperol Spritz were absolutely delicious. The waiter was very attentive to my garlic and onion allergies. Thank you so much, guys. The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, simple but without any of the negative or presumptuous attitude I had previously encountered at Undamaris, but thanks to them I discovered Covo del Barone.
