21/09/2025: Only in places like this can you capture the true essence of Calabria. Excellent products, excellent goat, and the staff who served us were friendly and kind. Plus, the view overlooking the town and the Amendolea valley is spectacular.

20/08/2025: Family-run agriturismo (also gluten- and lactose-free); the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere make it the perfect place to spend pleasant evenings. The helpfulness, attentive service, and quality of the home-grown ingredients are top-notch. Wine and meat from the same farm are top-notch, prepared according to tradition and with great respect for our agricultural culture. Thank you, and see you soon, Agririggio!

25/09/2025: The pizza isn't bad, although I've had better, and the atmosphere is also very nice. But the real problem was the service. We arrived at 9:00 PM, and by 10:00 PM our order still hadn't been taken, and they didn't even bring us a bottle of water. We finally ordered, and 15 minutes later the pizzas arrived, but without any drinks. We had to ask twice to get something to drink with our pizza. Also, there was a broken glass, not damaged, but a piece missing. We asked for a replacement, but nothing happened; my husband and I shared the same glass. Highly discouraged.

17/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pizzeria Santa Caterina – Gioiosa Jonica This evening I had dinner at Pizzeria Santa Caterina and I must say it was an excellent experience. For health reasons, I chose the pan-fried escarole with anchovies, olives, and chili pepper: delicious, 10/10 to the chef! My partner and her mother had the pizza, which was mouth-watering just looking at it. To finish, a delicious dessert: mascarpone cream with berries. Very polite and attentive staff, a welcoming place, and truly quality food. What can I say? A 10/10 restaurant, highly recommended +++++

24/08/2025: We visited the delicatessen a few days ago. They offer top-quality products, the highlight being the Aspromonte Black Pig, a truly excellent product. After shopping for Calabrian beer, Greco Nero Superiore wine, pasta, cured meats, and cheeses, we decided to stop for lunch. The cuisine is spectacular, and the service is unique, with a friendly, welcoming Calabrian atmosphere. The dishes are generous and delicious; the eggplant, pancetta, and ragù smell of Calabria. The Parmigiana is absolutely delicious. We'll be back as soon as we can.

10/09/2025: Traditional style restaurant. Simple menu but quality ingredients. Went on multilevel occasions and always left satisfied with my meal.

09/10/2025: On our way back from Sicily, curious to see the town of Scilla, we stopped for lunch at Pippo's; a welcoming place with a traditional, friendly, and helpful owner. We ordered a swordfish platter and "fileja," a typical Calabrian seafood fusilli. Excellent quality, generous portions, and we enjoyed it at a seafront table with a breathtaking view! Prices were absolutely in line, almost below average, with the quality of the food. We'll definitely be back...excellent!

30/09/2025: Didn’t expect to find such a wonderful gourmet burger place. My wife thought it was going to be a fast food type place, boy were we wrong and we did “Enjoy our Burger”. As soon as we stepped in the door we were impressed by the interior of the building. Such a nice place to dine. Excellent selection of burgers on the menu with a special of the month. There was so much choice it took a long time to decide. The burgers were extremely tasty and filling. Excellent value for the money considering the good quality ingredients they used. The fries were thin but a wedge style, quite different but cooked well and crispy. They have specialty beers available.

22/09/2025: I went last night for the first time, and I have to say my experience was excellent: friendly staff, quaint place, and above all, excellent food quality. I had the chance to try the limited edition September sandwich—200g Angus, Scamorza, Spilinga nduja, and bacon—and I have to say it's a fantastic flavor explosion, and honestly, it could be a regular sandwich on the menu, perfect for those who love spicy food. Prices are reasonable, and I'll definitely be back in the future. Congratulations everyone! 👍

20/09/2025: Risotto and tagliatelle with freshly picked porcini mushrooms that as soon as you eat them excite you with the smells and flavors of Calabria. A platter of cured meats and cheeses for two is super rich, ditto for taste and freshness. Add to that the restaurant boasts 50 years of experience in catering to true and authentic Calabrian cuisine. "I don't know who's writing this much." MANCULICANI GENTLEMEN, I LOOKED AT MY STOMACH. 30/09/2025: I've found service like this in few places: the owners and staff were always friendly, helpful, and attentive to all requests, creating an almost intimate atmosphere. The menu is very varied, so it's almost impossible not to find something you like. I really enjoyed what I tried (the appetizer and the Ciccino grill). At the end of the meal, we were offered coffee and amaro, a rare treat these days; they offer various amaros, including Kordax, which they make themselves. The restaurant is located in a unique spot, making parking nearby difficult, but nothing out of the ordinary. I found some prices a bit high considering the offerings, but given what I've said before, I recommend the experience.

27/09/2025: The food was truly exquisite and the portions were generous. Everything was delicious, except for the stuffed peppers, which had a slightly unusual flavor. The staff was attentive and professional. The place was clean, and we didn't have to wait long to order. We'll definitely be back.

01/10/2025: We dressed up and wanted to go out for a delicious meal. The restaurant looked really inviting. We were seated straight away. At first we weren't thirsty and they gave us a bottle of water which we didn't want, which earned us a disparaging look. Then a new waiter came and gave us another bottle of water which we once again emphasized we didn't want. Annoyed, he walked away. The third waiter took our order for pizza with bresaola and salad with buffalo. There were noticeably a lot of waiters in this restaurant, everyone was doing something different and that unfortunately ruined our peace of mind. The pizza itself was delicious, no question about it, great crust, great tomato sauce but the buffalo - I don't know, it's sooooo small you have to search for it. What a shame! I was allowed to season the salad myself. I would have loved a great dressing like orange or balsamic vinegar or honey mustard or a fruity vinaigrette or something unusual. You are served a small amuse-bouche: dough balls fried in quite a lot of fat. We didn't like it. Especially since it was served in special paper bowls, and the bread was also served in special paper bags. Why not serve it on a plate or bread basket for the sake of sustainability? A complete waste. Unfortunately, our glass wasn't clean either; a thread from the cleaning cloth or polishing cloth was still stuck to the glass, making it look very cloudy. Reasonably priced, but unfortunately rather disappointing. We had the impression that everything was hastily conjured up here, with little attention to detail. If a restaurant wants to stand out, it needs more of that, and the staff needs to be calmer.

30/09/2025: The staff is very attentive, perhaps even too attentive! They're very good and helpful, and the food is excellent, all made with top-quality ingredients.
