Cucina tipica ma non scontata presentata dall'ottima cuoca Roberta con attenzione e professionalità. Una scoperta da proporre a tutti. Complimenti! ...e grazie per la bellissima serata.

10/08/2025: Excellent experience!! A “Certosino” coffee that explodes in your mouth, white chocolate, Nutella, whipped cream, without distorting the coffee but enriching it. A perfect combination.

31/07/2025: I was incredibly impressed by this bar. The atmosphere is welcoming and the place is impeccably clean, a detail that makes all the difference. The service is exceptional, the staff is attentive and courteous, and every time you visit you feel at home. The owner is a true professional, someone who demonstrates a deep passion for his work. His ability to continually innovate is admirable and is reflected in the excellent quality of the products offered, a true Serrese excellence that stands out. I highly recommend everyone to visit; you will be amazed by the quality and professionalism you will find. An experience worth experiencing and repeating!

03/07/2025: An old farmhouse with a huge estate, surrounded by greenery and also equipped with a swimming pool for adults and children. A quiet and relaxing place, where you can only hear the sound of cicadas. The Giovanna room (if I'm not mistaken) was spacious and perfectly suited to our needs. The experience was made even more special by the wonderful welcome of Pasqualina, who pampered us and made us feel truly at home. Just 5 minutes away is the beautiful beach of Cropani Marina.

01/08/2025: I went here with my mom for our last night in Lamezia and we wanted pasta so we went here as it was nearby and still open. They took our orders at around 9:40pm. We ordered lobster pasta and prawn pappardelle, along with two oysters. The oysters arrive around 20min later and they were good. Unfortunately for us, our dishes took over a damn hour to arrive. Not only did the servers practically ignore us during that time, but the waiter didn’t show an ounce of regret afterwards. Also side note everyone else was getting their food?? Like literally everyone but us were being served. Very strange and don’t recommend - especially the lobster, poor thing died for nothing This is a simple reply to the restaurant: You know very well everything you wrote is a lie so don’t even. I will not go back and forth with you now but let’s be honest no restaurant meal should take an hour (I have pictures with times that provide proof for the time waited) and you didn’t even give us a discount so what are you talking about?? We finished our meals because we were hungry, because we waited for OVER AN HOUR. Pretty simple logic no offense. And another thing, don’t say it was busy when people that entered over half an hour after us had finished their appetizers and main course and were out the door before our food arrived. Again don’t spread lies about your business online, you have good reviews overall but I’m also allowed to share my experience (which was a ridiculously long wait and bad service). Have a good night.

22/07/2025: An experience to forget, sauces with a questionable flavor, ok fast food but here we waited half an hour for 4 plates of pasta and they were an insult to Italian cuisine.

16/07/2025: Terrible, so terrible that I had to spend five minutes writing this review. The staff was rude. The waiter directed us to the chef to ask about the gluten-free options, and he didn't seem at all happy to even have to speak to us. The dialect he spoke to us was incomprehensible. He was rude and at times even aggressive for no reason, as if he were doing us a favor even by answering. Moving on to the food...a disaster...tagliatelle with creamed peas and bacon, topped with burrata, completely tasteless. Only the bacon was good. The Caprese salad was labeled "buffalo mozzarella DOP," a real insult to buffalo mozzarella itself...pasta with sausage sauce that was clearly pre-made. The only good things about the order were the cherry tomatoes and the drinks.

03/08/2025: Eating at Cugino isn't just about enjoying local specialties; it's an experience. We arrived at 2:30 PM on an unassuming Friday and were greeted by a large, imposing man, Cesare, who immediately seated us and served us fresh water and bread. Being called "cousins" by a local restaurateur was fun, but being treated as such was truly incredible. We should have grabbed a quick bite on our way to Tropea, but the Calabrian hospitality prevailed, and we arose at 4:00 PM after appetizers, a first course, a second course, a side dish, dessert, coffee, and a liqueur. In a world of frenetic life, this little corner of paradise brought us back to tranquility and the pleasure of enjoying a meal, with the cool breeze and local passersby greeting other diners seated at the outdoor tables. Cesare is a lover of cooking "the way it used to be," with kind and helpful manners, never lacking in professionalism and friendliness, and accommodating our every request. The food was superb, we'll return to Calabria just to have lunch with our new cousin! Thank you and see you soon!
