26/03/2025: We were in Reggio Calabria for a few days, and we were advised, unfortunately, by locals that we could Eat fish well. I'll start by saying that I'm from Turin and I'm used to eating fresh and caught fish very well, but unfortunately it wasn't like that here. It was certainly fresh but it tasted of nothing. Both the raw fish and the spaghetti with seafood that only tasted of tomato😱. Not to mention the grilled tuna, really disappointing. I'm so sorry. Because you really have good potential!

08/03/2025: With a menu based almost exclusively on stockfish, the restaurant service is dedicated to lovers of "stockfish", where the dishes can satisfy such palates. For the rest, a little lacking on other courses or sweets or even bitters for the end of the meal. Good value for money and I must say that almost 2 years after the first visit the prices are practically the same.

27/01/2025: "Having called the day before, initially there was no place available. The owner advised me to call back the next day, and so I did. Not only did she find me a place in the second shift, but I also ate a first course based really exceptional stock. The value for money is really excellent. I highly recommend going there!"

15/03/2025: I haven't been back to this butcher's shop with grill for years and thank goodness I'm back. Simple and welcoming environment. Staff always polite and humble. Starters different from the usual I recommend the sheep and pork kebabs, really excellent beef meatballs. Also good in sauces. Another dish that I would recommend is ribs. Excellent meat, tender like butter and delicate in taste. Come back whenever you want.

18/02/2025: A welcoming place with a pleasant atmosphere, with an environment that is not too large but well looked after. The staff always proved to be helpful, attentive and very kind, helping to make the experience even more positive. The food was really good, with a great selection of meat, well cooked and tasty. The bill was also honest, with affordable prices and in line with the quality offered!

09/03/2025: Today 3/9/2025 I went to this pastry shop to get a granita. I ordered some almond desserts first and then I would sit down. The owner changed my mind with his insolence, absolute lack of empathy and perhaps, I would call it by its name, rudeness. Result: I paid and went to eat the granita somewhere else and obviously I won't dream of giving my money to someone like that in the future. It's not enough to have a good product, when you learn it it will always be too late. When one enters a place, one must feel good and not feel uncomfortable.

27/02/2025: Gerace, an unmissable village, like the Il Tocco pastry bar, in Piazza del Tocco. An absolutely unmissable destination for lovers of good pastries surrounded by truly excellent ice creams and granitas. Ricotta, fig, mulberry, strawberry and citrus fruit granitas, made with real fruit and not industrial syrups. Try it to believe it. A round of applause to its creator and manager Giuseppe Rinaldis who was also able to create a staff worthy of the name. The guys in the room were good, polite and precise in their service. Thank you!

19/02/2025: Beautiful location. Very fast service and friendly, welcoming staff. The pizza is good but personally I think it is a little too thin. There is a wide choice of pizzas and not only that, there are also first and second courses.

25/10/2024: Per il weekend di fine Aprile abbiamo deciso di fare tappa a Serra San Bruno, davvero un tranquillo e rilassante borgo..mai ci saremmo aspettati di trovare in un posto così lontano dalle frivolezze proprie del mondo attuale un ristorante del genere! Un posticino intimo dove gustare solo prelibatezze con accostamenti di sapori e lavorazione delle materie prime di elevata qualità eccellenti! Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo se si scelgono i menù degustazioni, che consiglio vivamente! Da non perdere!!

23/12/2024: We ate several times at the Silipetto farmhouse. Every time we came back satisfied. The menu is based on a varied starter, two first courses of your choice and two second courses. Or if desired at the customer's request some alternative preferences. The appetizer was truly fabulous and complete. Pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and underwire macaroni with pork sauce. Followed by goat with potatoes and truly sublime cut of meat. All surrounded by a magnificent panorama between sea and hills which makes the whole thing a wonderful picture. The really nice and professional lady Roberta as well as the local cook made our lunch a magnificent experience. Congratulations to all the staff. We will definitely be back!!

17/11/2024: Agriturismo Silipetto. This was my favourite farm on my trip to Calabria. The owner Roberta is a great hostess, we felt like we were staying with friends! A great, quiet place with lots of culinary surprises. Self-made pasta, meat, vegetables... the food is organic and made with lots of love. A visit to this secluded place is definitely worthwhile! - It is essential to book a table in advance. Overnight stays are also in a very beautiful Tiny house possible. A place to relax and enjoy the delicacies of southern Italy.

11/12/2024: Piccolo locale a conduzione familiare nella stazione di servizio della frazione di Parenti. Non disponibili i primi. Grande disponibilità di cortesia . Antipasto della casa buono ed abbondante . Grigliata mista e scaloppine al limone di qualità abbondanti e ben cucinate. Patate e peperoni da provare. Prezzo sui 20/25 euro a persona. Rapporto qualità / prezzo molto buona. Soddisfatto.

16/03/2025: What can I say, despite the reservations being sold out, we were found a seat even though we hadn't booked in time (there were 4 of us), despite the late hour (10pm, which we all know what this means for the kitchen) the staff welcomed us and served us with great professionalism and kindness, things that are not easily found nowadays and are greatly underestimated. Regarding the quality of the food and the AYCE formula as well as the price I can only say 2 words.. I'M SALTED! We will definitely be back!!!

02/03/2025: Posto scovato per caso su instagram mentre scorrevo tra i reels, una scoperta che ci ha lasciato attoniti. Siamo arriviti per primi alle 8.30 e il personale ci ha subito accolto con tanto di simpatia e scherzi, incoraggiandoci ad ordinare sempre di più (inerente all’esperienza all you can eat)

27/10/2024: Very pleasant surprise! Too bad we found ourselves eating out the day before our departure. Quality and very generous service and food. We ate for 4 people (a starter for 2 and 2 pizzas, 2 pasta dishes and 3 desserts + 4 drinks) and we paid €78. Which is more than reasonable. I highly recommend. Thanks to the whole team.

23/03/2025: Now a historic place on the Ionian coast of Rossana. Bright, spacious environment and excellent, quick service. To avoid any surprises when it comes time to get the bill, I advise you to have the menu brought to you and ask for information on the dishes when ordering as the staff is very kind and prepared to explain the dishes. Top quality ingredients and a well-stocked cellar make this place an experience not to be missed.

21/03/2025: Pesce freschissimo e cucinato alla perfezione! Piatti raffinati e ben presentati, con sapori autentici che esaltano la qualità degli ingredienti. Ottima selezione di vini per accompagnare le portate. Atmosfera elegante e servizio attento e cortese. Perfetto per una cena di qualità. Consigliatissimo!
