Characteristic atmosphere, small but comfortable place as it is not overcrowded, therefore quiet. Eugenio is helpful and kind. Highly recommended.

The quality-price ratio is absolutely balanced for the level of cuisine and service. 08/09/2025: I've been to Hedò in Pizzo and can't recommend it highly enough! The fish is incredibly fresh and impeccably cooked, every dish is a true delight. The open kitchen is spectacular, immediately conveying the transparency and passion they put into it. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home, while the waiters are incredibly professional and attentive. The wine selection is also excellent, perfect for pairing with the dishes. The location is beautiful, well-kept, and welcoming, and the prices are truly fair for the quality offered. In short, it's one of those experiences that stays with you forever and makes you want to return as soon as possible. Hedò is a must-try in Pizzo!

29/09/2025: Aftwer 2 weeks eating all over Calabria, this is the place that for me best defines the cuisine: great local ingredients, classically prepared with just the right amount of modern approach as to not become yet another one of those places that take Nonas food and throws asian spices in it. Loved the Polpo con Patata, the Tuna Tataki was amazingly fresh and the Raviolo con Scampi was so simple and si flavourful with just a few ingredients: pasta, cream, scampi, spinach. The bread they served reminded me of the one my grandma used to make 😀

19/11/2025: Chiosco Rosso is a must-try in Lorica for a wonderful day filled with the many activities Sila National Park has to offer and excellent food. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with a typical mountain setting. The classic sausage sandwich, topped with caciocavallo cheese and olives, accompanied by Sila potatoes, is a must. Everything was excellent. The price was fair and the atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend it 😁🌭⛰️

19/09/2025: We chose San Domenico for our last evening here and it could not have been a better choice. We had the vegetarian degustation menu and even as someone who usually eats meat, it was amazing through and through. Each course was crafted with immense love and detail which was noticable with eye and tongue. Service was perfect, food was perfect - I'm still amazed a day later! What I liked especially was the indirect lighting on the outdoor terrace. It was a beautiful setting for an evening filled with good food and wine. We will absolutely come back!

23/10/2025: I was there way back in 2009! I went back two weeks ago and the legendary cousin did not disappoint! Everything was excellent, but the real highlight was the cousin's tagliatelle! The atmosphere was very friendly, and the cousin who hosts us is a living legend! We'll be back soon.

Excellent ingredients are expertly combined, the pizza is truly delicious, and you can taste the passion. Attentive and impeccable service. Clean and very welcoming place in the center of Oriolo. Parking is easy. Definitely worth a visit.

24/10/2025: Went here because of the many excellent ratings. Cannot understand the good ratings though. We had four Tartufo and were deeply disappointed. Taste was good but the Tartufo completely disintegrated on the plate before we even received the plates: just a melting ice cream mass on a plate, not the nice round ice cream ball you are used to. We went to other ice cream shops in the region but never had such an experience. Seems old and partially dirty as well. Would not go there again.
