I migliori ristoranti di cucina italiana in Matera

07/06/2025: È la seconda volta che torniamo in questa masseria, la prima volta abbiamo pranzato dentro, questa volta invece abbiamo fatto la cena in vigna.....che dire, un'esperienza bellissima!! Siamo arrivati che il sole era già tramontato, la prossima volta anticiperemo un po' in modo da beccarlo che cala. Ad ogni modo la serata è stata piacevolissima, clima perfetto, luci e colori del tramonto unici e cena in tranquillità in mezzo al viale alberato, top! Personale cordiale e gentile, piatti vari e sfiziosi (fantastiche le orecchiette salsiccia, crusco e caciocavallo), buonissimi i vini di loro produzione. Ottimo rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo. Queste sono le caratteristiche che ti fanno venire voglia di tornare. La prossima volta proveremo il pic nic in vigna. Sono contenta che ci siano ancora dei luoghi così in un mare di locali spillasoldi da turisti.

17/04/2025: Another lovely meal here, this time for Palm Sunday. Very good anti pasta - a bit out of the ordinary and very tasty. Service was excellant, the restaurant is well run, the staff are efficient and the food well above average and good value for money.

07/07/2025: The "tastiest" thing was the bill...very salty, considering that we couldn't choose practically anything (the menu is decided by the host!). All things considered, it would have been better to go to a restaurant, at least we could decide what to eat..

24/04/2025: Enchanting location both externally and internally. Delicious Mise en Place. Mainly meat-based menu. Very tasty dishes. Friendly maitre. It's a shame about the cold service of the waitress in charge of ordering who was cold and unwelcoming despite the few tables and the time (just 9pm). Not a smile. In general I didn't feel pampered and welcomed as I should be in a restaurant of a certain level. Aspect to be improved because of an inelegant attitude.

18/06/2025: Great location. Very quiet. Clean rooms and obviously very fresh. Breakfast was average, nothing exceptional but you have to consider that it is not a 4 star so it is fine

30/12/2024: The worst experience in my four years living in Italy. The restaurant doesn't accept criticism of its food, and its staff becomes instantly aggressive and defensive. We simply mentioned that the portion was small (it costs 14 euros a plate), and the waiters and the cook launched into arguments and fights with us. The food is expensive, and the portions are ridiculously small. The service is a disaster: it took 45 minutes to bring our drinks, they charge for a cover charge, they don't bring bread, and they served us one plate at a time, even though there were five of us at the table. The staff is rude and aggressive, and they treated us like annoying tourists. The two young waiters, a man and a woman, were especially hostile and defensive from the start. Even though we didn't raise our voices, they behaved aggressively and defiantly. The situation became even more serious when the cook came out of the kitchen and yelled at us in front of the entire restaurant, eager to fight. We even heard them speaking Italian to each other, as if they didn't understand that we could understand what they were saying about us. These people ruined our day, and it's a shame that a place like this is ruining the image of Italian hospitality.

01/05/2025: Dopo vari giri a vuoto nei locali di "ultima generazione" di Matera , ci siamo per caso e per fortuna imbattuti in questo ristorante "non improvvisato"....il titolare Mario ci ha accolto da vero padrone di casa, con gentilezza cordialità e simpatia....consigliandoci benissimo secondo le nostre esigenze....Abbiamo mangiato un super antipasto con prodotti tipici lucani di ottima qualità, tra cui un meravigliiso piatto di cruschi... Orecchiette alle cime di rapa altrettanto eccezionali...fino ad un ottimo dolce .vaniglia pan di Spagna e cioccolato fondente..Tutto davvero buonissimo... I camerieri attenti e gentili, locale accogliente e delizioso. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole mangiare bene nel segno della vera tradizione e a prezzi più che onesti. 01/06/2025: Pranzo da dimenticare.. 01.06. Il cameriere ha annotato la nostra comanda alle 14.. Ma aihme abbiamo dovuto attendere 2 ore per gustare un immangiabile raviolo cacio e pepe e uno spaghetto alle vongole( questo dal sapore buono). A una delle bambine (tra l'altro celiaca) è toccata una sorte peggiore.. Una pennetta al sugo completamente cruda(la cucina per azzittire le nostre bocche ha pensato di far uscire comunque la pasta dopo tutta quella attesa) . I camerieri non hanno avuto nemmeno la bontà di intrattenerci con acqua e pane.. La mia bimba per la fame ha mangiato tutto il pane gluten free della cuginetta. Ci siamo alzati affamati e pagando una cifra spropositata...ah dimenticavo.. Il ristorante cucina senza glutine ma bisogna aspettare che finisca di cucinare per tutti.. E dimenticatevi la cotoletta che è un must nel menù dei bambini se ci andate con un bimbo celiaco!

11/06/2025: Super friendly staff from start to finish even with and for my sister who is celiac. Food and price are normal, the quality/price ratio is excellent. Keep going!

09/06/2025: Ice cream shop with few flavors but all excellent, outdoor patio even if in the shade very hot, muggy because it is completely closed by PVC curtains, there is no air circulation, staying there to enjoy the excellent artisanal ice cream they sell is impossible because it makes you feel sick.

10/05/2025: I found myself visiting this pastry bar specifically to take sighs, we stopped and also had breakfast with the family, mid-morning we immediately found parking right next to the place, upon entering you perceive that the place is dated but well looked after, the staff are kind and courteous, the products are good
