28/02/2026: Taverna del Mare has long been a guarantee of quality at a fair price. In my opinion, it's the best seafood restaurant in the area. The raw fish is also excellent, and the staff, including the owners, are always very helpful and friendly. Rating: 10/10

30/01/2026: The fish quality was excellent, the nigiri were delicious, and the rolls were excellent. The only flaw was that they were too big, my personal opinion! The service was good initially, but then toward the end they started bringing all the rolls at once. Overall, it was a great experience. I'd reconsider the size, but everything else was top-notch!

04/03/2026: Very good pizza, crispy and easy to digest. The place is a bit small, but I really like the family atmosphere in the pizzeria. The staff is very polite and friendly. The desserts are also top-notch; I tried the berry and Nutella cheesecakes: delicious. I'll definitely be back!

03/03/2026: After a couple of years, I returned to this place with two friends and I must say, as always, it didn't disappoint. We had appetizers, arrosticini, focaccia, and tripe (the evening special), finishing with desserts (delicious). The only flaw was the service: courteous and professional but slow. They need more staff. The owner is very kind and attentive to her customers' needs. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

15/01/2026: I went today for the first time after visiting the Sanctuary. I usually go to another restaurant nearby, but luckily it was closed today, forcing me to change. I chose "La Perla del Gran Sasso" because it was the only one open and because I'd already heard good things about it. The location is very simple but welcoming. The waitress is very professional, kind, and quick with service. I chose the €25 fixed menu. Pappardelle with duck sauce. Duck with sauce. Mixed roast (3 types of meat: lamb, pork, rabbit). Ascolana olives and cremini mushrooms. Mixed salad. Cake. Coffee. Wine and water. The portions were generous and excellent. Very fair price. I recommend it to everyone. I'll be back!!!

26/02/2026: Last night we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was attentive and polite—no complaints about the staff. However, after dinner, my boyfriend and I developed symptoms of food poisoning. It was a very difficult night. Judging by our order, the problem was most likely related to the fish (photos of the dishes are attached). In an establishment of this caliber, you'd expect strict quality control and freshness of ingredients, especially when it comes to fish. Unfortunately, our experience was completely different. Very disappointed. I hope management will pay attention to the quality and storage conditions of the food. I'm very disappointed in the restaurant. The atmosphere and the service are very attentive and polite—it's a personal mistake. Purtroppo, dopo la cena io e il mio compagno abbiamo accusato sintomi di intossicazione alimentare. La notte è stata davvero difficile. Considerando ciò che abbiamo ordinato, è molto probabile che il problema fosse legato al pesce (alleghiamo foto dei piatti). In un locale di questo livello ci si aspetta un rigoroso controllo della qualità e della freschezza dei prodotti, soprattutto quando si tratta di pesce. La nostra esperienza, purtroppo, è stata ben diversa dalle aspettative. Siamo molto delusi. Speriamo che la direzione presti maggiore attenzione alla qualità e alla conservazione degli alimenti.

02/03/2026: Booked by chance for lunch with some friends, we found ourselves in a refined and welcoming atmosphere. The menu was varied, with a focus on Teramo cuisine. Everything we ordered was excellent! From the starter to the dessert, it was delicious and plentiful. Even though the place was busy and we arrived quite late, the service was excellent. We also appreciated the homemade gentian at the end of the meal. The entire exterior is also beautiful, with the lake and a lovely lawn. What more can I say? Definitely worth a visit to try the rest of the menu.

A wonderful place, excellent cuisine, a very refined and warm atmosphere, very kind and professional waiters... All surrounded by a truly beautiful natural environment... An absolutely positive experience... We will definitely be back.

21/02/2026: We had lunch with my wife and son in this fantastic place surrounded by greenery with a unique view. The staff was always attentive and precise. We ate Abruzzo products, from appetizers to first courses, to desserts, from the Cacio e Eva fried cheese balls to the chitarrina with meatballs. The Teramana-style timbale and the cappuccino with cream of leeks, mushrooms, and cocoa were fabulous. Delicious, and to finish, the Abruzzo sweet pizza: a bomb. And then there's the spa you can use... what more could you want?!?!

16/02/2026: A weekend spent in complete tranquility, with excellent food and an excellent private spa, a clean and bright room, and polite and helpful waiting staff. To recommend this property is an understatement; experience it and you will surely be satisfied.

Nestled among the rolling, picturesque hills of Teramo, this restaurant embodies the true essence of rural cuisine, offering an extremely rustic and spartan, yet unforgettable, experience. As soon as you arrive, it's immediately clear that the focus here isn't on designer furnishings. The atmosphere is authentic country, with wooden tables and a casual, familiar feel. Don't expect frills or sophistication; the setting is very simple, almost pared-down, and that's precisely its charm; it makes you feel at home, far from the noise and hustle and bustle. The real reason people come here is the meat, and trust me, it doesn't disappoint. The quality of the ingredients is exceptional, a sign of a very short and meticulous supply chain. From the appetizers featuring homemade cured meats and cheeses to the highlight, the mixed grill, or the tagliata or lesser-known cuts, every bite is a triumph of flavor. The meat is cooked to perfection, bringing out the full, authentic flavor that only authentic preparations can provide. We sampled three appetizers, a tagliata and a picanha, with a side of chips, soda, wine, and two coffees, all for €65 (see photo). They have a digital menu, but due to ongoing renovations, they're currently offering a reduced menu (see photo). Next to the tasting room is the butcher's shop, where you can purchase meat if you like. The service is friendly, as expected in such a rustic setting, but always courteous and attentive. They know how to best recommend the daily specials and are quick to serve. Another great strength is the value for money. Despite the extremely high quality of the meat, the prices are absolutely reasonable and affordable. You'll leave feeling full and satisfied without emptying your wallet, a significant detail. Oliveto is a true "place of the heart" for those who love tradition. If you're looking for authentic cuisine, delicious meat, and total immersion in the rural Teramo setting, ignoring the spartan appearance, this agriturismo is a gem waiting to be discovered. Perfect for a dinner with friends or a Sunday family getaway full of good food. N.B. The restaurant's opening hours are not those listed on Google; it's always best to call to reserve, perhaps even the day before. The agriturismo is not signposted, but is located in the basement behind the main house.
