14/07/2024: Gorgeous place, delicious food, kind and helpful staff ready to accommodate every request.... very helpful and friendly owner. We celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time. I recommend it to everyone, try it to believe it.

01/09/2024: Location of an ancient building in the historic center which overlooks the hills and mountains. Beautiful rooms, with a view, nice welcome. Low prices in relation to the quality of the hotel.

25/08/2024: Having lunch on mid-August has become an impossible mission for me for years. Places taken by storm, services equal to 0, costs not comparable to the quality. Friends decided to return to Civitella trusting in the lower attendance and book in the place that could provide service and quality. No expectations were disappointed... on the contrary... it strengthened my thoughts on Zunica1880. The restaurant's Civitelle dishes, despite the pleasant additions, were perfect. I can't help but keep thinking about the timbale AGAIN, AGAIN, AGAIN due to the complexity of the preparation and the result of a lightness equal to a BREATH. And in opposition to those who believe that heat should go hand in hand with sloppiness, fresh but cold foods, fish and lime, I say Scrippelle... peppers... spinach... moist meat and COMPOSENCE. Thank you for yet another punctual and polite experience and... congratulations to Monsù Frederik who orchestrated everything well in the shadows (no doubt on my part he has the ability to be a master of cooking with a renewed ancient mind 🙏🙏🙏) Coming back more frequently is my self-imposed obligation. Thanks again

14/08/2024: First experience in this hotel with two small children (almost 2 years old and 3 and a half years old). We had a great time, very kind staff, from the night receptionist, to the guys in the room, to the ladies in charge of cleaning. We had full board with drinks included, excellent value for money. Exquisite cuisine. Bicycles always available, even with seats for children. Swimming pool with adjoining shallow area just for children, hydromassage, water blade, we spent entire afternoons there. Covered parking. The only observation is that meals tend to last about 1 hour and a half, and especially for those with small, impatient children, lunch can be a bit long. However highly recommended, thanks to all the staff for a lovely holiday. Giulia Fabio Marco Anna

14/08/2024: We always happily return to Villa Elena. Excellent cuisine, there is always plenty of choice. Typical local dishes are always present. The wait staff is attentive and quick. The service is attentive, and the staff is always friendly and ready to satisfy the customer's needs. To reach the beach there is a shuttle and bicycle service The rooms are spacious and clean Congratulations to all 5 stars well deserved

07/08/2024: Luogo ideale per un weekend di relax, lontano dai luoghi più affollati ma in ottima posizione per poter raggiungere sia locali balneari che montane nel giro di 30/40 min di auto. Alloggi curatissimi e molto puliti, dal fascino rustico come si conviene ad un casolare molto ben ristrutturato quale è. Il kit di cortesia è completo. La colazione è varia e soddisfa ogni palato, anche con preparazioni al momento (uova o toast) e torte caserecce. Molto bella l'area della piscina, con getti di acqua e idromassaggio caldo, con meravigliosa vista sulle cime del Gran Sasso. Abbiamo provato anche la cena, molto buona ma per la nostra famiglia piatti un po' troppo ricercati e prezzi quindi adeguati, nei dintorni non mancano valide alternative più economiche e semplici.

10/07/2024: Of all the hotels this is the best by far. We had no problems with intolerance, we were waited on hand and foot. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to escape from the daily chaos.

11/08/2024: Well-equipped and well-maintained beach to comfortably spend time on the beach. The bar and restaurant service is also excellent. The entire beach, bar and restaurant team are passionate, smiling and available.

12/07/2024: Tasty find, excellent fish restaurant, away from the coast. I was able to taste: Excellent frying (rated 9), very tasty little guitar, a pinch less salt and it would have been perfect (rated 9.5). Three chocolate dessert (rated 9) and gentian to finish. Perfect service, dinner at sunset overlooking the Gran Sasso, difficult to ask for more. Correct prices, better than those on the coast. Fresh and quality fish. Worth a trip out of town.

01/09/2024: What can I say... very good food, beautiful location and then Claudio is truly exceptional! The prices are certainly not "fast food" but, as it should be, the quality pays off! (But it's worth it)

24/08/2024: The interior of the restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with many unique objects. The kitchen manages to innovate traditional dishes thanks to the care taken in the plating and the combination of different flavours. There are valid options for both vegetarians and vegans. The bill is absolutely proportionate to the quality and in line with the area. The thing that struck us most was Claudio's hospitality who gave us numerous pearls to allow us to learn more about the area and its dishes. The waiter who served us was also very kind. Quick service and nice atmosphere, unmissable!

25/08/2024: Romantic atmosphere, exquisite dishes and very smart young owners! We met Federica and Maicol and you can immediately perceive the passion they put into creating this restaurant. Compliments!! I absolutely recommend the tasting menu (we did the 5-course one) and it was all very refined and tasty. We will definitely come back to visit them!

27/08/2024: Nightmare dinner! Disorganized, terrible and unprofessional. Long waits to order in a place that isn't particularly crowded, equally long waits to receive the few things ordered. On pressing the service for our long wait, we discover that the food ordered was out of stock, despite having ordered at 8.30pm, with a table booked 5 days before. At that point, we ask to speak to the manager and ask for the bill which is brought to us without even an apology. The manager never showed up. They only pay attention to customers they know.

15/08/2024: I have known Nonno Chitò since the "Piazza" years and he was already a point of reference for me, an avid pizza lover. Over time the quality has improved a lot and in addition to the fantastic pizzas, the grill now also reigns supreme. Congratulations to all the Nonno Chitò staff and a special greeting to the owner 🙂
