16/09/2023: First holiday in Alba and first time at Angolo74. What can I say, a wonderful discovery. We arrived around 9pm and even though the place was full they let us sit after 5 minutes. Friendly owner who puts you at ease and helpful waitress. Let's move on to the strong point. We ordered: spaghetti with clams, fettuccine with scampi, gnocchi with seafood, mixed fry, stuffed calamari, what can I say, all delicious in the true sense of the word. Right dishes, even abundant ones, (everything is subjective, it depends on how much one is used to eating) with fresh fish. I highly recommend Angle74, also because it has good prices. Of the dishes listed above we also took 1 dessert, water and Coca-Cola and paid €74. Greetings from the Veronese

29/03/2024: Large party for a family celebration. The restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate us. Food was tasty and we received the order quickly. Our server did an excellent job. If you haven't already, check it out!

24/03/2024: This was our first time eating here since they reopened. This is exactly what an Italian place should be. Food was outstanding and the owner was out in the lobby chatting with the customers. We will definitely be adding Fritella into the rotation. Whoever reads this, get the breadsticks, you will not regret it.

While he teases and touches everything with his hand, he touches things to eat. Never again . 10/02/2024: Nice and welcoming hotel, large and well-kept beach. Welcoming and kind staff ready to satisfy all your needs. Special mention for the kitchen and the chef, extraordinary and abundant dishes and the buffet was also excellent. Being of Abruzzo origin in Civitella del Tronto I really appreciated the typical menus of our tradition such as porchetta, kebabs, pallotte cacio e ove and the inevitable spaghetti alla guitar, all delicious. Special mention for Willyam (Willy) and Ricky, good and very nice, the ladies at the reception were kind and helpful. Wonderful experience and on my next return to Italy I will definitely return

14/09/2023: Only 5 stars are too few! We ordered takeaway on site. Fabulous and tasty stuffed pancakes, fried to perfection so not heavy. Try the one with the ciauscolo. Just one warning: be careful, they are addictive.

01/04/2024: Servizio veramente pessimo. Tolgono il piatto prima che lo finisci di mangiare; presentazione del menù indegno con un pezzo di carta. Ci hanno riportato il primo tre volte sbagliando di continuo il tavolo. Piatti più che pessimi, il pesce non è per niente fresco, pasta surgelata e fritto di pesce fritto malissimo con la pastella che non va giù. Camerieri che non vogliono mai riportarti il pane e quando glielo richiedi sono scortesi. Non andate assolutamente!

26/02/2024: 9 courses of appetizer "taken for a ride...": a dried sardine, two slices of rolled courgettes with a mini scampi inside and the other empty, a baby red mullet, 2 scampi, 2 micro panocchite, snails (which I wouldn't include never in an appetizer because not everyone likes them), two crostini, mini portion with broccoli and a small octopus tentacle, a dollop of mashed potato with a vague presence of fish. All served within two hours for the modest sum of 45 euros. The first: tagliatelle with scampi: two forkfuls and the 20 g of pasta and 3 small scampi have already disappeared. The dessert: small and decidedly not very tasty tiramisu. Bottle of white wine 24 euros (normal price). All things considered, 180 euros for 2 people for a menu that for 40 euros would have been well paid. A quality-quantity / price ratio definitely equal to 0. Let me start by saying that we often go to restaurants on the coast and we also wanted to try Palmizio, we appreciate good food and good service and we don't mind expenses so this review is not based on the price but takes take into account both the quality of the proposal and the quality/price ratio. We absolutely do not recommend it!
