11/01/2025: Il risotto "alla Venturini" è assolutamente da assaggiare, gusto morbido, avvolgente, con funghi e un intrigantissima salsa. Tagliata cotta benissimo, tenera e dí qualità. Molto casalingo, nel senso piu' bello del termine, il servizio; attento e cordiale. Ci si sente accolti come da vecchi amici. Lo consiglio vivamente, ci tornerò senz'altro

29/12/2024: Cena di famiglia in una domenica natalizia nel ristorante in attività più antico di Chieti. Ottima accoglienza e descrizione di alcuni piatti direttamente dal giovane chef Lorenzo. Servizio rapido e professionale. Assolutamente da consigliare sia il piatto storico della città (risotto alla Venturini, del quale detengono la ricetta originale) sia la carne. Angus alla sciuè sciuè, cioè ripassato in padella dopo la cottura alla brace, sia la picanha (abbiamo chiesto tre cotture diverse per tre piatti distinti: tutte ottime). Ottima scelta anche di non offrire "vino della casa" ma un buon vino di una delle principali cantine abruzzesi, ad un prezzo "calmierato". In sintesi, e come da titolo: assolutamente da consigliare!

08/11/2024: One of the best pastry shops in Lanciano, specialty cream puffs with Chantilly cream with different toppings such as pistachios, black cherries and almonds, chocolate, coffee, caramel etc. Unfortunately, given the location and the place itself, it may be little known, but trust me, once you try it you won't do without it.

20/01/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. Superlative raw fish, truly super appetizers and first courses. Being full, we were unable to taste any second course, but we can't wait to do so. Impeccable service, the owner managed to put us at ease straight away, making the dinner truly unforgettable. Super recommended place, we will definitely be back! Compliments!

22/08/2024: I'll start by saying that I only tried breakfast, but I can say that I was very satisfied. I tried a croissant with jam filling and found it really delicious. Basically, these croissants are empty, but when ordering you can choose your favorite filling between jam, cream, chocolate, etc. Many of the products on display are homemade, which allows you to immediately appreciate the quality. As for the location, it is a bar that also offers the possibility of having lunch in the sheltered part of the room that overlooks the street. It is not a very large structure, but it is modern and well optimized in the available space. Finally, regarding prices and staff, I was satisfied on this front too. The prices are in line with the other bars in Vasto and the staff is very friendly. You can see that they work with passion: they were very friendly in answering all my questions and introducing me to their homemade products.

23/03/2025: We were thrilled by the atmosphere there...there is ONE cod menu, the only question is whether you can manage the pasta and the dessert :-)..everything was very tasty. We enjoyed it very much. We were simply lucky to get a table, we recommend calling ahead.

10/11/2024: Unfortunately, after this experience, I can say that I have definitively put an end to what for years was a fixed appointment for me at Cavalluccio. Every summer it was a tradition to go and eat there, but this year, due to what happened, I won't be going back again. Last August, I went to lunch with my few month old baby. Once seated at the table, we ordered a fish first course. While I had my son in my arms, the dish, very hot, arrived and he, for a moment, put his hand inside, burning his finger. In a panic, I jumped up to protect him, and in the process the plate fell to the floor. I immediately took my son to the bathroom, who was crying desperately from fear. Upon my return to the table, I expected to find a more attentive situation and at least an apology or intervention from the staff. Instead, I found nothing. No one approached me to ask if anything had happened or to offer to fix the situation. When the waiters came to collect the dishes, they did so without even cleaning or making the slightest gesture of attention, as if nothing had happened. I was really disappointed by the behavior of the staff and, unfortunately, this experience has convinced me that I will never return. It's a real shame, because for many years it was a place I loved, but this time it was too much.

03/04/2025: Mettetevi una maschera e non toglitevela. Servizio pessimo ,attesa infinita ,un piatto di tagliatelle con funghi e piselli congelati,4 salsicce di numero, due piatti di verdura scongelata al momento,un caffè.totale euro 40€ Stateci alla larga.

04/01/2025: After a tiring travel day, we were hesitant to try this place as it seemed to have a limited menu... But oh goodness it was DELICIOUS. We actually tried everything on the menu (except for dessert coz we ate too much 😂). Real home made food, fantastic gnocchi (and I should know, my mum makes the best), super engaging waiter, just the best! They even accommodated us early (before official opening time) Can't recommend enough.
