The professionalism of the staff is evident from the first moment, but a special mention goes to the waiter Peppe, decorated several times for service merits and with full merit: courteous, helpful, attentive to every need and always ready with a smile. 29/06/2025: Francavilla welcomed us well, kind, helpful, polite people. And this Ghiottone is in line with the environment: kind, smiling, helpful staff. Excellent value for money. We were there both at the self-service for lunch and for dinner in the evening (with service). Really good and abundant dishes. We definitely recommend it for those who do not want to have the classic lunch (with its times) at the restaurant.

07/07/2025: Cold appetizers in a single dish, without flavor, with lots of onion or sweet and sour sauerkraut, only That you could taste. Swordfish steak (frozen) always with lots of onion or sauerkraut, which covered all the flavor. For two 70 euros. We ate two cold appetizers (there were only 4 mini samples) and a swordfish steak for two. No wine. No dessert. Too bad Because the place is worth it, with that View. But we are very far from Eating fish. What a shame.

28/06/2025: During my stay in Ortona I made breakfast at 'Arte e Tradizione' a regular and daily appointment. The bocconotti are exceptional, every bite was an explosion of flavor. The owners are very kind and friendly. If I have the opportunity to return to Ortona, we will definitely see each other again!

19/05/2025: I came across this restaurant for lunch almost by chance, and I must say it was a truly pleasant discovery. The location is very nice and welcoming, with attention to detail and perfect for enjoying a relaxing moment at the table. We were welcomed by a lady of unique kindness: always available, present but never intrusive, ready to solve any need with a smile and great professionalism. Another plus point is the parking lot, located right in front of the restaurant: large, convenient and easily accessible, a detail not to be underestimated. But the real star is undoubtedly the food. Home-made cuisine of the highest quality, capable of enhancing the genuine flavors of tradition. We started with a rich selection of appetizers, and then continued with two delicious first courses: sagnette with tomato sauce and tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffle, both prepared to perfection. To follow, a mixed roast with different types of meat, tender and tasty. And the icing on the cake: the price. Considering the quality and quantity of the dishes, the cost was more than fair, I would say exceptional. Such a hearty and tasty lunch at such a low price is rare to find nowadays. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

07/06/2025: My daughter and I had a wonderful experience today: we met Mrs. LUCIA who has been cooking and welcoming those who come to her restaurant for 50 years. Wonderful mushroom fettuccine, and what about the tagliolini with truffle!

28/06/2025: We stopped almost by chance at this restaurant, I had heard about it for a while but had not yet had the chance to go there. I will tell you just one of the first courses: Pappardelle with hare sauce... sublime. And to finish, a roast lamb, brought on a hot lava stone. We spent 25 euros each, with (in addition to the first and second courses) water, house wine and a Coke Zero. Attentive and super helpful staff. I highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back.
