I'll definitely go back. Nothing fancy, but the food is good and it's not expensive. A fish-based starter for €15 is rare. The restaurant feels like an inn, but it's well-maintained and managed. Overall, it's good.

We were there last Sunday, May 3, 2026. We ordered two spaghetti with clams, a liter of house wine, water, bread, and the famous brodetto. The first course was just acceptable, quite bland, and the clams seemed frozen. The famous brodetto, priced at €40, was quite bland, and for a brodetto that includes mussels and bony fish, it's significant. Good service, decent location.

This restaurant, famous for its "Brodetto alla Vastese," has once again confirmed its reputation. Even though the place was packed for May Day, I enjoyed a mouth-watering dish. A+++.

Fantastic place, highly recommended. The owner is helpful and very kind. The accommodations are very comfortable, clean, and equipped with all amenities. Most importantly, they're located in Vasto's main square! Very convenient! Thank you so much. I really hope to return.

Enjoy your lunch! I had a very good trio of appetizers and a very well-made fish soup. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was excellent. My colleague, who chose grilled sea bream, fared less well, in my opinion. I have other places in the area for fish soup, but if I find it closed, as it was this time, I'd gladly return to Scudo. We visited this centrally located restaurant for the first time today, and it was a truly pleasant surprise. The food was excellent, from appetizers to desserts, and the lady who served us was very attentive. The prices were also fair. We'll definitely be back.
