The service was equally impeccable: the wait staff was friendly, attentive, and highly professional, putting guests at ease and offering expert advice. An experience that combines taste, aesthetics, and hospitality. Highly recommended for those who love good seafood and are looking for a restaurant where quality and attention to detail truly make the difference.

It is a local spot, away from the typical tourist routes, that showcases what we understand to be the culture of Abruzzo. Note: If you do not have a reservation, arrive right at opening time and ask in advance if there is availability. Reservations are usually required. What a place! The space conveys the care and intimacy of a family-run Italian restaurant, and the food makes you feel that deeply. It is a local restaurant, off the beaten tourist track, that showcases what we understand to be the culture of Abruzzo. Note: If you do not have a reservation, arrive right at opening time and ask in advance if there is space. Reservations are usually required.

25/03/2026: Excellent food. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the restaurant manager, Mrs. Liliana, if I'm not mistaken.

05/04/2026: A historic restaurant in the center of Lanciano. Excellent dishes, rooted in tradition, using local ingredients. The presentation leaves nothing to chance. We returned for the third time today for Easter. A welcome canapé included a tartlet and a fiadone; egg and asparagus with truffle and a cauliflower mousse; cheek tortello with pecorino and guanciale; and mutton revisited as a arrosticini with seasonal vegetables. Everything was impeccable. To top it all off, an apricot Colomba cake with chocolate ice cream satisfied our sweet tooth. As we were about to leave and settle the bill, the maître d' gifted us a homemade apricot Colomba cake, just like the one we enjoyed at the end of lunch; we'll share it with friends on Easter Monday. The chef was present this time as well and received our compliments. Recommended with reservations.

07/11/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times. The setting is very charming, located in a rustic setting in the historic center of Lanciano. The atmosphere is very intimate and pleasant, thanks in part to the background music, and the waiters are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent; the menu features excellent traditional Lanciano and Abruzzo dishes. I highly recommend the rintrocilo with ragù and the cheese and egg balls. The meat is also excellent. In my opinion, the prices are very reasonable for the quality. A truly excellent place.

22/03/2026: We stumbled upon this gem when searching for a local pizza and dinner place while visiting Abruzzo. We were greeted immediately upon entering, seated, and had a chance to check out the digital menu. Maria and Roberto(our 2 servers)were very enthusiastic and smiled the entire time we were there. We ordered antipasto, pizza, arrosticini, wine, and spectacular french fries. All items exceeded expectations. We will be back!

09/03/2026: A truly beautiful and welcoming place. I went to this restaurant on Saturday evening. I had high expectations, but unfortunately I was a bit disappointed with the food: Abruzzo appetizers and meat, all very salty. There's no wine list, so when you order a bottle of wine, you don't know the price, and that's truly unthinkable. The staff were very friendly, except for the owner, who wasn't at all polite. The price was high for what we ate. I don't think I'll go back.

14/12/2025: Given that I'm a saxophonist, DJ, and entertainer... And given that I never write reviews for venues, I was contacted by an association as a musician for an event at this venue. It was truly magical: fantastic food, top-notch staff (the owner, Carmine, was very kind; his son Luca was also very helpful; the waiters were no exception!), attention to detail in the decor and Christmas-themed details... Etc. etc. etc. Everything was exceptional! The venue is located in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), and I couldn't bring my car to bring my equipment. Carmine handed me the keys to his car and allowed me to use it (alone!) to transport the instruments from the parking lot to the venue. I can't help but be happy to have spent this day with them. 22/04/2026: This restaurant is very hidden; we went with a local friend. We ate excellent roast meats and drank good wine in a typical Abruzzo restaurant. The only downside was that when we paid the bill, we were charged four extra covers, seven extra desserts, and we discovered that if you order arrosticini, you automatically get bruschetta (€15) even if you didn't ask for it. Once we returned, we were refunded the extra money.

06/04/2026: The meat we ordered was raw, and the arrosticini were equally inedible, rubbery and too cold. The pasta was very al dente, and one of the pastas we ordered had too much liquid in it, making it seem like we were eating it plain. And the bruschetta was made with tomato sauce; it wasn't traditional bruschetta, and honestly, it wasn't good.

19/03/2026: I used to frequent this place 6 or 7 years ago. It was very laid-back, with a quiet atmosphere and excellent arrosticini. I returned today. The place has been completely renovated and altered, for the worse in my opinion. The karaoke is so loud you can't even talk, and the service is slow. It's a shame, it's a very posh grill place; it was definitely better in the past.

19/03/2026: On Women's Day there was no mimosa symbol, inedible arrosticini, awful music for the occasion and a super crowded place that you couldn't access the bathrooms or move around otherwise.

01/01/2026: Friendly service, excellent but not abundant meals, very rural location, well-decorated dining room, well-heated. The interval between courses is fairly quick.

29/04/2026: Nice quiet family run place with good home cooked dishes. We had the spinach crocchette, eggplant pram, gnocchi, and penne 101. All dishes were delicious.

16/12/2025: A good, family-run restaurant serving traditional Abruzzo products. Generous portions and good food. The penne 101 are very good. Perhaps the dishes should be served at the same time. Excellent prices.
