24/08/2025: Restaurant right in the city center with nearby parking.
Food: Hot fish appetizer was good but too little. Turbot with potatoes was excellent. Creamy millefeuille was excellent.
Service: Despite having booked by phone and having confirmed in person half an hour beforehand that everything was fine, as soon as we entered, a rude waiter announced that the restaurant was full. A colleague had to intervene. Aside from this rude, poorly perfumed, visibly tired, and unsympathetic waiter, the restaurant is of a very high standard.
24/08/2025: A landmark, high-end restaurant in beautiful Pescara. The portions aren't generous, but they aspire to a high-end reputation. The experience is certainly mid-to-high-end.
It's true, however, that in my opinion, they should be supported by more courteous service from all the dining room staff, commensurate with the price and the elegance they seem to be seeking.

26/08/2025: 1 mixed fish gratin, 1 grilled lamb, 1 seafood chitarrina, 10 arrosticini, 1 0.75 lt water, 1 house rosé wine, 2 gentian liqueurs, 1 coffee, 2 covers. €55.50. Honorable mention goes to the waitress who single-handedly served everything in excellent time. Generous portions; if I were in the area again, I would gladly return. Excellent value.

26/08/2025: A very charming establishment, with tables for dining under a sheltered canopy, well protected from the wind and sun but with a view. The bar offers both breakfast and lunch and dinner. Delicious freshly baked croissants. Parking is available right outside the establishment along the seafront in paid parking lots. The beach is wide and sheltered from currents with breakers.
23/08/2025: Terrible experience.
Burnt pizzas served 30 minutes before the arrosticini, which were supposed to be the appetizer, as explicitly requested. At the bill, they insisted on one single order and, only after much insistence, two separate ones for each family. Unfairly accused of trying to "rip off" someone. The bill listed 6 covers instead of 3; I reported the error, no apology, just arrogance: "Go ahead and write a review, we're always full anyway."
Not recommended: check the receipt line by line. I read the response below:
The strange thing is that I never spoke to him, and the person who paid was one of the friends present at the evening who told me about it, and who, by the way, is retired.
I think he'd be better off weighing his words and explaining why he doubled the number of covers and not threatening nonsense... now even more inadvisable after the absurd response.

06/07/2025: Ci troviamo per caso domenica 6 luglio 2025: il ristorante è abbastanza pieno, una ragazza e un signore si aggirano tra i tavoli, ma l’attesa è abbastanza lunga. Ordiniamo un tagliere di selvaggina e uno di carpaccio, poi dei maltagliati con ragù e zucchine e zafferano e due contorni, cicoria e verdura grigliata.
Il tagliere era davvero imbarazzante (aveva un accenno di tartufo sulla mortadella - di maiale- che sapeva di nulla. Il resto con salame e n.1 mini salsiccetta di cinghiale (?) con qualche fetta di qualcosa affumicato. Il primo ancor più’ imbarazzante, i maltagliati salatissimi con un ragù bianco e di zucchine forse l’idea, mette lo zafferano rimasto nelle parole della cameriera…tra l’altro cotti molto male. Finiamo con la cicoria che dava sull’acido. Il Tutto ben pagato. La domenica è la vostra vetrina, cari ristoratori, non accampate scuse che ci sono troppi clienti! Essere bravi il martedì è facile… cambiate mestiere altrimenti.
22/03/2025: Locale disposto su più piani collegati da una bella scala interna. Tavoli e arredamenti essenziali, puliti, moderni.

10/05/2025: The last time we were there was more or less a year ago.... Today? I knew about the change in management but I didn't think I would find such an absurd situation. Never again! The service is non-existent, at times embarrassing... The only one who survives is the lady with the braids.... At least she's nice

Veniamo spesso per l'aperitivo ed è molto fornito sia a livello di cocktail che come cantina, nulla da invidiare alle enoteche limitrofe. Servizio eccellente e personale professionale, sempre attento a soddisfare le esigenze del cliente, tra questi Adriana: il "TOP"!

09/08/2025: Ordinary, at best, for Italy - the risotto was reheated (my wife cooks it better), and although the fusilli with speck and radicchio were tasty, the consistency of the sauce wasn't quite right. We had better experiences - and value - elsewhere.

25/06/2025: The service was slow but very friendly and helpful and we had some nice conversation with the waiter.
There was also a cute cat.
But the food was not good.
The appetizers were the best part.
But the pasta was overcooked and bland. You could feel the porcini were frozen (maybe in other places they are also frozen in this time of the year but it can’t be immediately sensed so they are either better kept or bettter seasoned).
The arrostisci were okaish but I bought better ones in the supermarket the next day.
And tiramisu was like gummy-like and had some frozen parts.

Slow service, but the real sore point was the food. Poorly cooked, poor quality food. It's a shame, because in the past it was a guarantee.
19/05/2025: Terrace partly covered and partly open air overlooking the sea. Very bright and beautiful.

19/06/2025: Characteristic restaurant in the area.... very welcoming and friendly... it is home-made cuisine but really very good... the platter of appetizers found upon arrival at the restaurant was also nice.... normal prices!
04/05/2025: Per me non è una scoperta, ma sempre una conferma. Ottimo tutto, dalla colazione alla cena...con l'ospitalità di Giovanni che non ha eguali. Ieri sera poi il filetto...da 10 e lode!! Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni 🔝🔝....percorsi bellissimi a pochi passi dell'agriturismo e la sera al rientro un'ottima cena ad aspettarci.

08/09/2025: We went on the evening of August 15th to eat at this restaurant that has recently changed management. There were three of us. I would like to point out that having been there three months earlier and having had a great time I decided to return for August 15th. We sat down and they told us that they only had a fixed fish menu but they kindly obliged us by letting us order meat from the menu. Unfortunately I didn't find what I was hoping for. Even though there were only 4 tables to serve we waited almost an hour for the appetizer, but that's okay it wasn't a problem for us and they kindly came to apologize for the wait, we imagined that the appetizer would require preparation time since we took two mixed Abbruzzese appetizers, but what then arrived consisted of these exact dishes and quantities per person: a fried pizza with a piece of mortadella on top, two tablespoons of sautéed chicory, half a slice of aubergine and three slices of courgettes, two pieces of boiled broccoli, two small meatballs cacio e ova and two tablespoons of tripe in sauce. Total 16 euros per person! Then we ordered two mixed roasts of meat, a portion of baked potatoes and only one first course, the gnocchi Vesuvio. I had ordered the mixed roast meat three months before and I really liked it because it consisted of a small veal steak, a nice big sausage and a nice piece of lamb, unfortunately this time it wasn't like that, we got a plate with a small sausage as big as a thumb and a slice of veal and that's it (the wording "mixed" can't consist of just two pieces). When I asked why the lamb was missing, I was told that they had removed it from the plate to make it lighter for the summer, but kept the same price... Absurd, since the menu offered the option of ordering just the lamb and in any case tripe or fried pizzas don't seem like summer dishes compared to a piece of roast lamb... meh. In the end, two appetizers as described above, two second courses with a slice of meat and a sausage each, a first course of fish gnocchi, a liter of house wine, two bottles of water and a coffee total 98 euros. As for the quality of the food some things were good others less sincerely. Clean environment and friendly staff.
05/09/2025: Wonderful experience. I'd already been there one evening for a dinner with colleagues and had a great impression, so I decided to take my wife last night for a tasting of the freshest fish (€35). Five PLATES of appetizers (not appetizers), carefully prepared and unpredictable, that I'd never tried elsewhere, and a generous and delicious first course. The dinner far, far exceeded our expectations. Even though we were more than full, I recommend ending the dinner with a sublime dessert, the "sospiro." The owner and waitress made us feel at home. Highly recommended!! Thanks Cristiano.

06/10/2025: We were greeted with great warmth and hospitality, and dined on excellent grilled meat and homemade first courses. The homemade biscuits, made with a recipe passed down from mother to daughter, were delicious.
You can feel a genuine atmosphere and a strong connection to the local area.
A place to be appreciated and rewarded for its great commitment and passion!
