02/06/2026: The food is good quality, the 1970s building definitely needs renovation, but what I will never accept in a restaurant is being treated superficially and rudely by the owners (the employees are good guys, kind and helpful). Having a restaurant in a major hub doesn't give owners license to treat people superficially and rudely. When you deal with people, you put a smile on your face in the morning. If you're not capable of doing that, it's best to change jobs. That said, you'll never get my money back.

02/06/2026: I've been frequenting this beach resort for years and, unfortunately, I've witnessed a progressive decline in the quality of service. What's most striking is the total lack of friendliness: the staff is often rude, impolite, and unwilling to interact with customers, almost making even a simple request for an umbrella or a table at the restaurant feel like a favor. The concept that it's the CUSTOMER who CHOOSES to spend their day at the resort and CONTRIBUTES TO ITS BUSINESS seems to be overlooked. Fortunately, there are plenty of more welcoming and worthwhile alternatives in the area. The resort is dated and in need of modernization. Cleanliness is generally acceptable, but the beach restroom was dirty, lacked hand soap, and had no running water. Hot showers are available for a fee using tokens. The resort is average in many respects, but what really makes the difference is the rudeness and lack of customer service from the owners, not the staff, who are very kind and helpful.

15/11/2025: We had a large table, but it took an hour and forty minutes for a portion of Ascoli olives. Nothing had arrived yet except some bread and three chips, while the people at the next table who arrived after us had already received everything. Anyway, the arristicini are delicious and reasonably priced when they arrive :)

04/09/2025: Simple place. The fried cheese and arrosticini are top notch.

05/01/2026: Good outdoor seating to people-watch at the square. Busy place so the orders took a while, even if it was just for 2 coffees, croissant and 2 hot chocolate (total: €15) for the kids. The older gentleman (maybe the owner) was quite pleasant.

26/05/2026: I was a guest at a communion last Sunday, and I must say it was a beautiful day in a stunning location I've already known well from previous events. A pleasant confirmation!

26/05/2026: What a terrible experience! Terrible service compared to what we paid! Not recommended for events, except for Easter Monday.

16/03/2026: A terrible experience, not to be repeated for several reasons: first and foremost, the rudeness of the staff. You don't make fun of customers even if they don't please you. It's shameful for those who work in customer service. The service was terrible because they took so long to finish bringing orders, forcing those who had already received their food to wait forever so as not to let others watch while they consumed it. Furthermore, the drinks were delivered without explanation, creating confusion as to who had ordered because they were similar. The quality of the desserts isn't the same as other places. Then the icing on the cake...cigar smoke wafting into the dining room because the door to the outside wasn't closed and the windows probably weren't insulating well.

05/04/2026: After a full six years, we returned to this establishment, after a decidedly negative experience in the past (as documented in our previous reviews), sincerely hoping that something had changed in the meantime. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The welcome was normal, but when it came time to pay, the same unacceptable attitude recurred: presumptuous and arrogant tones simply because we wanted to pay by card. Let's be clear: it wasn't a single payment, but the fact that each of us wanted to pay for our drinks by card. From there, decidedly inappropriate comments erupted, including remarks about always having to carry cash, at least €10, and even the conclusion that it would be better if we didn't go at all if we intended to pay by card. This was unprofessional and untimely behavior, considering that electronic payment is now the norm. The result? This time too, like six years ago, the experience ended in the worst possible way. And with us, today, this establishment has once again lost 15 customers. It's a shame, because it would take very little to avoid situations like this.

05/04/2026: James Joyce is becoming an addiction. How could they not love the maldita pobreza piadina, or the fantastic quality burgers they make? They really have everything, with exceptional quality and the price is super affordable! Guys, download the Joyce app because unlike Glovo and company, they don't even take delivery commissions. Top 🔝

01/11/2025: It was my daughter and I, half a liter of water 1.50 a hamburger with bun 11.00 euros service 1.50 each 3 tiny pieces of swordfish 12.00 euros, to make a long story short 30.30 euros. Not recommended service waiting 40 minutes absurd.

24/05/2026: The beach is in a terrible location: Fosso Valle Lunga, Via Braga, which leads to Via Scarfoglio, bordering a pine forest (or former pine forest, given that the devastation from the fire is still present). Via Scarfoglio is a very unsafe place at night. The beach at Lido 186 borders the area where a buried, very high-voltage power line (silted up) crosses the Adriatic from the Balkans. From here, past Viale Primo Vere, it continues its underground route towards Via Scarfoglio. On summer nights, the beach resort is very busy, causing noise until late at night.

08/04/2026: A truly disappointing experience during Easter Monday lunch with a group of friends. From the aperitif before sitting down, we knew it wasn't going to be a great day: there was very little choice, practically nothing, both in terms of drinks and food, immediately giving the impression of poor organization. Unfortunately, aside from the entertainment and music, which were pleasant, everything else was decidedly below expectations. The food was of very questionable quality: even the state of the cured meats in the appetizers revealed something was wrong: an unappealing color, an unpleasant odor, and a flavor reminiscent of stale, almost spoiled produce. The rest of the menu also remained at the same level, without any dishes that stood out. Furthermore, cleanliness left much to be desired: the plates were dusty, giving the impression of an unprepared place, as if it had been opened at the last minute without due care. We found it highly questionable that we were asked to pay before even starting lunch. Probably because they knew that, once it was over, no one would agree to do so. Despite this, despite having paid €45 per person in advance, the receipt wasn't given to us immediately, but only at our express request at the end of lunch as we were leaving, and even then with some difficulty. The staff, including the owner, were also not particularly courteous or helpful, making the experience even less enjoyable. Overall, a ruined Easter Monday. I strongly advise against this place. Based on our experience, I recommend limiting yourself to the entertainment, music, and a few cocktails, leaving the food to professionals. I've attached a photo of the appetizer, with nearly spoiled cured meats, and the napkin used to clean the plate. It's a shame I didn't read the other reviews in advance, which are all in line! Absolutely avoid!

27/04/2026: This place should be avoided. There's nothing more to add except that anyone who runs a business like this shouldn't be rude, shouldn't insult customers who bring money, and shouldn't speak out of turn.

27/12/2025: I had a great time and ate well. And for a good beer, these places are always top notch.

16/02/2026: I tried to book for four people, and so far so good. When asked if I had children, I said yes and that we were two adults and two children. As soon as I said that, the lady immediately changed her tune, saying they don't accept children and that she works for sports and therefore doesn't care about the customers' opinions. Oh my, what a shame! I wouldn't go to a restaurant like that even for free, not even if it had a Michelin star. I'm disgusted. Probably only those with children can understand me, but this woman's behavior is shameful.

14/02/2026: Terrible service; I noticed a very cold attitude toward customers. The owner was very rude and unwelcoming, and she also paid little attention to taking our orders. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with children; they won't be welcome.

26/04/2026: The Lemon Bar in Gaeta is definitely worth a visit. The cocktails, while based on classic recipes, have the owner's personal twist that makes them exceptional. She's incredibly kind and friendly, and the prices are truly reasonable. Highly recommended!

09/06/2026: Service is slow , slow , slow. The mussels were disgusting, almost raw. They saw we were foreigners and always serve intalians first. We waited more than 1h for our food . I strongly do NOT recomend. Menu only in italian. Nobody speaks english.

22/05/2026: I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend. The first major problem, in my opinion, was the lack of a menu at the table, meaning we couldn't choose well and see the prices. The most scandalous thing was the bill. We only ordered cold and hot appetizers, a second course for two, and only a bottle of water to drink...total? €135!!! You won't see me again 👋🏼
