08/01/2026: On the evening of January 4th, I went to this restaurant with my husband and 3-year-old son, who immediately took a liking to it. I wanted to emphasize the kindness, refinement, and helpfulness of the waiter and owner in explaining and bringing the dishes and drinks. The food was truly good: tagliatelle with wild boar in white sauce and mixed grilled meats, followed by a crema catalana.

23/08/2025: The place is poorly used, the food is excellent and the price is good, it's a shame about the service which takes indescribably long, is poorly organised and the waiters are not dressed appropriately in my opinion.

09/12/2025: Technical stop for an extremely quick lunch, a first course saffron risotto, a side dish that I would have liked to take a photo of but it was so little, 4 forkfuls, water, coffee, and a cover charge of €18.50 were enough. Now, not to be picky, but the coffee I paid €1.50 for at the counter, I ask for the cost of €1.20, €4 for 5 chicory leaves, €0.75 water €2.50, the cover charge €2.50, three slices of bread and I ate with paper napkins. But what do you think? If you are a restaurateur, let me know because I think something went wrong. In any case, I don't think I'll stop at this place again.

10/09/2025: The usual joke, when these entrepreneurs learn to be honest with tourists it will always be too late a plate of mussels and 4 skewers 40 euros!!

02/09/2025: We arrived at the refuge around 3 PM, but even though we'd eaten, they cooked us delicious arrosticini right there. It's worth coming all the way here just to have a coffee and enjoy the view. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and lovely tables in the woods!

13/08/2025: You arrive and find yourself in this family-run refuge, served by a wonderful, kind, and extremely helpful lady at the counter. We've been here a week and had the best sandwich in all of Abruzzo: sausage, broccoli rabe, and provola. Exceptional desserts. Everything homemade and strictly fresh. Five stars superior!!!

15/01/2026: A historic Pescara restaurant... Traditional flavors and aromas... excellent pizza selection, friendly and fast staff! The restaurant offers outdoor seating or a gazebo in the winter. It's not very large, but it's adequate! EXCELLENT!

14/12/2025: Delicious and different pizza: quality and care are evident in every bite. Plus, the service is truly professional and customer-focused: if there's an unexpected issue, they handle it with care and generosity, aiming to leave you satisfied. They also offer excellent takeout and home delivery: it arrives quickly and is always a pleasure. A worthwhile place, I'll definitely be back.

12/08/2025: €15 for a mix of stale fried foods, where everything had been re-fried to the point of being dry and dark in breading. I'm sorry, but it's not worth it; it's a steal for the food they served.

11/08/2025: We found out about it by word of mouth. Simple, friendly, and humble atmosphere. Good quality local cuisine on the menu. Excellent mussels and pasta dishes, even off-menu options if requested in advance. I highly recommend it.

24/01/2026: Sunday lunch, neither good nor bad... the homemade pasta (chitarra) was good, but the toppings left much to be desired: the ragù was nothing special, and above all, if I ordered polenta with tomato sauce and sausage (which cost a whopping €12!), I expected a sauce made WITH SAUSAGE... I can't get a simple polenta with tomato sauce WITH ROAST SAUSAGE CRUMBLED ON TOP!!! UNACCEPTABLE. The service was friendly enough, but I still have some doubts about the difference between the prices listed on the menu and the (higher) ones actually paid at the register.

26/01/2026: A lovely, welcoming place. A friend and I went for lunch on a Saturday and, even though there wasn't anyone else in the village yet, we were greeted with a warm welcome and kindness from the owner, who made us feel at home. We ate very well and paid just as much, considering that we also bought the lentils in their soup, which were the best. Definitely worth returning.

28/10/2025: A delicious dinner, a rustic yet authentic restaurant, perfect for those who appreciate substance and interesting stories. Excellent ricotta ravioli, tasty lamb with a side of delicious chicory. A truly authentic family atmosphere. Thanks, Silvan!

07/12/2025: NEVER AGAIN!!!! 12/6/2025. We are two people, with only 45 minutes to spare, and they seat us for a quick aperitif at 8:00 PM, saying that two more people with reservations would arrive at 9:00 PM. We accept. 1) We ask for two white wines and the "7 euro aperitif plate" advertised at the entrance, but they tell us we've misunderstood; the aperitif is only à la carte. 2) At 8:30 PM, they bring us the wrong order and a warm white wine that's been out of glass for who knows how long, but we politely eat anyway. 3) At 8:35 PM, they take away the plate I was eating from, saying, "You have to leave now." 4) We express our disappointment, promising a terrible review, but the waiter arrogantly applauds and says, "Thank you." ZERO service ZERO menu ZERO expensive bill (I don't have the receipt; it was a gift from my friend for a special occasion) ZERO manners

12/10/2025: The food is quite homey, with super-fresh ingredients prepared with quality. The food is always excellent, and the service is always very friendly. They have some unusual wines, and if you take their advice, you can't go wrong!

12/01/2026: 3 couples we had the new year dinner up to around 23:00 hr The food was fresh, grilled, tasty arrosticini of Angus beef and lamb. Also liver arrosticini available and other grilled stuff like cheese were an option. Very kind and prompt staff. Especially Dragos from Romania who served us. Also he recommended an excellent local red wine Montepulciano Bucefalo. The only inconvenience of this restaurant is that part of food is prepared outside the restaurant, but you don't get delays on receiving your dish, unless is extremely crowded

27/12/2025: The toilet has no paper, the door has no lock or closure, and there's no wastebasket. The food is questionable.

30/01/2026: A pizzeria in the center of Teramo. It's a shame that parking nearby is hard to find.

07/02/2026: I gave it one star, but it doesn't even deserve that. Inside, the dining room smells like fried food, unlike even the worst chip shops in Bangladesh. We ordered a portion of fries (they brought them without salt), some Ascoli olives (they were the frozen ones, that's all), and some potato croquettes, which I think are homemade (and they weren't even bad). Then comes the nightmare... A 4-cheese pizza, a capricciosa pizza, and a baby margherita pizza (for my daughter). The large pizzas look like baby pizzas, and the baby pizza looks like the pizza served at aperitifs, not to mention the toppings. The 4-cheese pizza had everything on it that wasn't cheese, all sticky and flavorless. The capricciosa pizza had 500 grams of that cooked ham that's usually on sale at the worst grocery stores and no one buys because it's now green and smells like a dead corpse! The pizza dough can rival BigBaboo in terms of chewiness! I wonder if even Canavaccuolo in nightmare kitchens can revive this place. THE COOKING BASICS ARE REALLY MISSING.

01/11/2025: I'm writing this review because I often get takeout pizza from this place, and in my opinion, it's truly one of the best around! Well-leavened, thick, and soft dough, quality ingredients: I'm never disappointed! And what about the homemade potato croquettes? Fantastic! Highly recommended.
