24/10/2025: Plastic cutlery and glasses are not serious for a restaurant. I bought a bottle of white wine and was given a plastic glass.

21/10/2025: Self-service with food that's definitely not of the highest quality. The food is a bit heavy, heavy on spices and oil. At that price, you can't expect much. Frying would probably raise the bar. I'll try it if I get the chance.

23/08/2025: I'm not a food critic, so I won't go into detail. My home cooking is always the best. Today, however, I ate well, appreciated the service, and the bill was reasonable. If I were to find myself in this area again, I'd return to this restaurant to feel at home for a while.

17/06/2025: We had lunch in this place, we were 38 motorcyclists, good food, excellent service, kind and efficient staff.

01/11/2025: We were walking by looking for a quick lunch. The friendly owners were behind the counter and served us pizza, ham and cheese in a pastry, cannoli with cream and gelato. All were delicious. I asked where they had all their baking done and discovered he does it ALL himself! Prego! (and the Duomo across the street is amazing)

23/10/2025: Great welcome from Mario, small bar right next to the cathedral, where you can eat quickly! Mario is very helpful and speaks French! Pleasant place right in front of the magnificent Enna cathedral

08/10/2025: As a Sicilian, I can say that I've rarely eaten things so far removed from the true flavors of my homeland. The cannoli is too sweet, the cipollina is flavorless and without onion, and the arancino... well, calling it an arancino is an insult to the real thing. I expected much more, but instead I left disappointed and feeling like I'd wasted my time and money. The unfriendly and uninteresting staff certainly didn't improve the experience either. For those looking for authentic Sicilian pastries, unfortunately, you won't find them here.

01/10/2025: Although a bit small inside (in warmer seasons, it's made up for outside), it's a showcase of Sicilian gastronomic and pastry excellence in the heart of Pescara and beyond. Arancini and cannoli are freshly prepared upon request. They taste like they were made in Palermo or Catania.

10/09/2025: Sat down outside after getting a welcoming smile from a sweet woman working there. She did not steer us wrong! The platter was to die for, the lasagna was probably the best thing I’ve ever tasted in my life and the wine recommendations were phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back to Pescara so I can go back.

06/09/2025: Rossella is nothing short of phenomenal. Her gracious hospitality and vast culinary knowledge, combined with a cuisine that showcases local flavors and traditions, are the perfect combination for any occasion.

12/10/2025: We were there for a birthday party in a large group of about 30 people. The seafood appetizers were questionable; the first course was supposed to be spaghetti with clams, but it was randomly changed to mussels and clams with or without tomato sauce. The service took a long time, which was a good thing for us because we were spending the afternoon there, but it was obvious that there were more people than the otherwise friendly staff could handle. The location was perfect, however, because we were in the shade of the trees, so the weather was ideal.

21/09/2025: Unfortunately, this last day at the beach was ruined by the poor organization of the kitchen which went haywire... and I was unable to eat... after 2 hours of waiting.... Diet...

05/06/2025: I was disappointed with my order today. The portion does not reflect what’s on the menu images and there was barely any taste giving the fact that the amount of chocolate on top was very small. We also ordered waffle balls but instead got a full waffle piece. It was expected to be much better compared to the pictures displayed and the prices.

09/03/2025: If I could, I'd give it 0 stars. The staff is unfriendly and rude. The crepes are anemic and taste like nothing.

28/10/2025: I spent the summer here and overall had a great time. The beach is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, with lovely gazebos and children's playgrounds, making it a perfect place for families. The restaurant is truly excellent: the freshest fish (the mixed fried fish is exceptional!) and delicious pizzas, both by the plate and by the slice. Plus, the sea view from the restaurant is breathtaking, and the staff is always kind and friendly. Unfortunately, there are some downsides: the bathrooms were often not clean, and there was no toilet paper. I also witnessed a very unpleasant scene: an elderly man managing the cash register harshly scolded a clearly autistic child for screaming, unaware of the situation. It was truly unpleasant to witness, and I hope such incidents never happen again. Overall, however, the beach remains an excellent place to spend a relaxing day at the beach, with good food and a welcoming atmosphere. Recommended!

20/09/2025: I had pizza (buffalo mozzarella, anchovies, and radicchio), gelato, and coffee. All very good, with efficient and friendly service. The atmosphere was spacious and quaint, especially since my table overlooked the beach. Highly recommended.

24/08/2025: The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The food, both the meat and pizza menus, is excellent. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is welcoming, friendly, and courteous.

06/10/2025: The waiters were good, but in the end the bill wasn't accurate, and when I re-checked it at home, I was in for a nasty surprise. Unless, of course, 5 places, 1 bottle of water, and 1 can of orange soda come to 14 euros. Check your bill before paying and get a retail receipt. I would have left a tip, but I noticed the waiter at the register took care of that.

05/11/2025: Correct review I remembered this little restaurant as a pleasant place, so after a long time I decided to return. Unfortunately, however, I was greatly disappointed. As soon as we entered, the atmosphere was more reminiscent of a canteen than a restaurant: tables lined up and a sign warning that, given the difficulty in finding staff, the service would not be able to meet all customer needs. The waiter greeted us by saying that "due to Covid," there was no menu, but that he would list it for us verbally (although he could bring us a paper one if we wanted). He then added that the cups were plastic, but he could bring us glass ones if we preferred. At that point, I felt like I was in a Candid Camera! We ate two fried appetizers, a pizza, a pasta dish, and a microscopic slice of watermelon. Total bill: 41 euros. Truly excessive for such a mediocre experience: 12 euros for two supplì and a few chips, for example. I understand the industry's difficulties, but we can't continue to blame Covid on ourselves when the restaurant industry is already restarting and many establishments are committed to offering better service. Here, unfortunately, I found neither quality nor attention, but decidedly outrageous prices. A real shame: they need to get some serious regulation.

25/10/2025: On Saturday night, we had a good thin Roman-style pizza, but the bill was too high, even compared to the menu displayed, with the fable of offering free amaro. Upon closer inspection, the prices also seemed more expensive than the menu displayed (which was already expensive!). A word of advice: the empty restaurant on a Saturday night deserves some reflection and self-criticism.

17/11/2025: Upon our arrival, we received a warm welcome from Marco, our local contact, and were provided impeccable service from start to finish. This won't be our last trip there.

13/07/2025: The apartments are nice, but at least the two-person attic apartments with balconies need better lighting. Light fixtures aren't functional and there's a lack of counter space. Not a great value for money. Located in a more residential area, 2-3 km from the city center.

15/10/2025: Delicious arrosticini, family-friendly atmosphere! Quick service! I hope to return, highly recommended!

13/10/2025: The food is excellent; you can tell the cured meats in the appetizers and the meat in the arrosticini are fresh. The arrosticini (cooked properly) are served at least 10 per person. The place is small, so when it's busy, it can be a bit noisy. The service leaves a bit to be desired; we waited a bit too long for the cold cuts appetizer. At some tables, they served drinks without glasses or without napkins and cutlery... The price is fair, although the excuse that the POS isn't working doesn't hold up... In my opinion, they have a lot of room for improvement; especially, they need to put more effort into providing adequate table service.
