05/10/2025: As a regular tourist, I had a great time, the atmosphere is spectacular, you feel at home, the staff is perfect, always smiling, very kind and welcoming 😍 I recommend them

18/09/2025: I went to this bar with a friend for a coffee, and I also had a pastry, but unfortunately there was an earthworm on it. The real problem? No apology from the staff after I pointed it out, just a justification saying "it's never happened before."

10/10/2025: Everything was fantastic. Antonio was a great professional, pleasant, and a great host, highly recommended. He was very kind to us. He's a great host, and everything we ate was delicious and of high quality. The restaurant was very nice and cozy.

08/10/2025: Spectacular food, Antonio's service was impressive, like you were at home. The pizzas and tiramisu were 10/10, as was the pasta. We had lunch and then went back for dinner. We'll be back 😍

20/08/2025: We went after reading these reviews. It's truly a mystery, our experience was horrendous. The wait was endless, the food was shameful, the quality and quantity ridiculous, and there's no menu, everything was just spoken. They only have a menu for the pizzeria, but they also serve meat and fish without menus or prices. When we got the bill at the cashier, we asked for the cost details and paid. Then, after leaving, we realized the total didn't match. Perhaps they treat tourists differently in August than they do with locals during the year. I can't find any other explanation for the positive reviews. If you're a tourist like us, I highly recommend you don't go.

29/07/2025: A very aptly named restaurant, it feels like you're eating with family. I discovered it by chance and it's been a regular dinner spot for my wife and I. Everything is authentic; I really enjoyed the pizza, which was very easy to digest. The prices are fair and affordable. I highly recommend it.

27/10/2025: Historic restaurant in Castel di Sangro. The rooms are a bit retro, but the staff is friendly and, above all, the food is excellent.

05/07/2025: Gin and tonic…without gin, tonic water and ice…we politely pointed out to the barman that there wasn't even the smell of gin and the answer was I did it the way I know how to do it, what can I say, change jobs, little darling…

03/10/2025: We stayed two nights at this farmhouse before visiting L'Aquila. It's quiet, but needs some updating. However, the showers have plenty of hot water. The owner said they'll start renovations in November. In any case, €20/night is fair. We didn't eat at the restaurant.

31/10/2025: My review, although not positive, isn't meant to be a disparagement of this historic business, but rather food for thought. I arrived this morning around 10:00 a.m., and after browsing the dessert display, I paid a kind and smiling young man at the register for a maritozzo with cream and a cappuccino. I headed to the counter and asked for the cappuccino and the maritozzo. There were no other customers at the counter, but orders were coming in for tables. I was served my cappuccino, and the barista asked first her colleague and then her colleague for my maritozzo. I was almost finished with my cappuccino, but there was no sign of the maritozzo. Not having much time and wanting to have breakfast with both a drink and a dessert at the same time, I went to get one myself from the lady at the dessert counter. By the time I got back to the counter, my half-cappuccino had been thrown away. It can happen, but my thought is... 1) I was walking with a stroller in tow, and from the counter I could see it was headed towards the dessert counter... 2) If you haven't served me the maritozzo yet, why do you think I've left? 3) What do you mean, I'll do it again with a smile? Instead, both baristas looked at me with great annoyance, as if I were the one to blame, prompting me to grab my maritozzo and leave, eating it on the street. 4) If it's so complicated to get dessert brought to the counter, why didn't the person at the cashier tell me to go to the dessert display first? I'll conclude by saying that better organization would make this historic place more attractive to us customers, given that it has so many good reasons. This morning I chose it over the other bars because it had a very convenient entrance for a stroller, for example. I also want to point out that both the cappuccino and the maritozzo were excellent and more than fair priced... but sometimes you get lost in a little, and if you don't, it's difficult to return to a place.

26/08/2025: A highly prestigious pastry shop and café in the center of Chieti. For a few years now, it's also been a good restaurant, open for lunch, with affordable prices. Truly excellent coffee and high-quality pastries (I love the shortcrust pastry cannoli). For over a century, Vittoria has never disappointed, always remembering that it's not old, but historic! Highly recommended! ♥️

15/09/2025: A very bad experience. The welcome was cold and unfriendly. The ravioli didn't seem fresh and the sauce was watery, the strozzapreti were overcooked and tasteless. The arrosticini had an unpleasant odor. Overall, one of the worst meals I've had in Abruzzo.

17/03/2025: Shameful, I cross Aspromonte with more than 4000 meters of altitude difference in three days and these guys here charge me €20 for a tiny sandwich, a piece of dessert and two coffees. The receipt wasn't even in the owner's mind. I don't know if you pissed me off or disgusted me more, I left speechless because I was so pissed off and exhausted from the mountain of not wanting to argue. Starving.

08/08/2025: The cashiers are very kind and friendly but the prices are just not up to par, 15 euros for 4 pieces of pizza and a supplì, crazy markups not even in Parioli.
