03/07/2026: The ambiance isn't bad, but the shrimp pasta isn't quite up to par. A poor shrimp sitting on a plate of chitarrina, a sour sauce that didn't even look like shrimp... I didn't even try the main course because it was just the lamb bones. Bad, bad... and to think that all it takes to flavor a sauce is a bit of shells and a pinch of baking soda. And the service... four requests to finally get some water... We won't be back.

29/06/2026: I called just to see if they were open, and in a decidedly irritated tone, I was reminded that they're closed on Mondays and that "it's written everywhere." What can I say... I'd only recommend a welcome like that to my worst enemy.

04/12/2025: A family-run restaurant run by the talented Genny, who always offers excellent advice. The spaghetti with clams is fabulous, as are the seafood gnocchi, the fish soup, and the calamari stewed with chili pepper. Excellent value for money.

12/06/2026: I've rarely seen such a clean holiday complex. The apartments were also very nice and spotlessly clean. The service was reliable and friendly. The beach is also very beautiful and clean. The sun loungers and parasols were in excellent condition. The sea was pleasantly calm and comfortably warm. (Early June, start of the season) We found the prices in the bars and restaurants to be surprisingly reasonable. Cheaper than in Germany. Self-catering isn't difficult either; there are supermarkets nearby, and the small market on the grounds is also well-stocked and has fair prices. The pool is certainly fine, especially for children... but personally, I preferred the sea. 😜

15/03/2026: It was a negative experience in this restaurant. We booked the table. It wasn't ready, they forgot. They brought us hot appetizers, practically a minimal part, and told us that they had run out in the kitchen. The first courses weren't bad, but the second courses, meat and lamb, I didn't like, and we still paid €50 per person without desserts because no one else came to our table. Very poor service. We will never go back.

17/05/2026: We started dinner with a beef tartare and fried cheese, each one better than the last, both in presentation and in the quality of the ingredients. The liver and meat arrosticini were truly tender and well-cooked (the meat ones lacked salt, but I had salt on hand and was able to add more). Impeccable service, the wait staff were all professional and friendly, especially Francesco, who must have chased at least three tables looking for lost items. I highly recommend it.

10/05/2026: IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S COMMENT: If we'd asked to change the Prosecco, would you have charged us for that too? I repeat, if a customer complains about something wrong, I'll remake it properly, charging only for what's consumed. I understand the desire to rinse one's hands with a one-euro-and-fifty-cent discount, but it still doesn't hold up, since two sips were enough for me to decide to leave the cocktail there. If I don't consume it, why should I pay for it? I understand wanting to distance oneself from someone who tries to exploit it, but the circumstances speak for themselves. REVIEW: Lack of humility and professionalism. Leaving aside the flat Prosecco, I couldn't drink a cocktail because the amount of syrup was excessive (it felt like drinking the glucose syrup they administer for blood sugar tests). Two waiters were very delicately informed of the problem, and that they could take it back. Once we got to the cashier, we explained this to the lady at the counter, who, instead of understanding the issue (since the cocktail hadn't been consumed), started giving a lecture on how this drink was made, as if I'd never had it before. Without any apology, it was added to the bill anyway, with a slight discount of €1.50. Now, as someone who works in the industry, if a customer complains about a burnt or bad pizza, I humbly apologize and proceed to make another one, made well, without charging for the one they returned. I know when a customer is taking advantage of it, and I hate to criticize, but I didn't take advantage of the situation, and at the very least, transparency and fairness are expected. Obviously, I'll never go back.

18/12/2025: A well-kept place down to the smallest details, very bright in the evening, the outdoor pool with blue lights gives a great effect, the clean lawn with outdoor tables, a shame about the temperature, but I will return when the weather is warm, inside very welcoming with attentive and thoughtful staff, once the order was taken well recommended by the owner, the dishes begin to arrive, hot and cold appetizers all of the Abruzzo tradition, the same for the first courses, handmade, amazing ravioli, the second a grilled lamb cooked well and tender, the same for the desserts, the sweet pizza could not be missed, I highly recommend this farmhouse, reservations are recommended, the place is always full, Congratulations ☺️

18/08/2026: Medieval inn with brown earthenware service in the style of the time, very very nice inside, in summer you can also eat outside practically in the square, top staff, prices in line with the average of the place, highly recommended

09/08/2026: A decidedly negative experience, starting with the service. The waitress was rude and annoyed practically from the moment we arrived. On the menu, next to the names of the dishes, there was a description in English. For a first course, listed with its Abruzzese name and described simply as pasta with "vegetables," I asked how it was made. The answer was: "with water and flour." Apparently thinking I hadn't explained myself well, I asked what the sauce was and was told, in an already annoyed tone, that "it was written." I pointed out that "vegetables" generically means vegetables and that I simply wanted to know what they were. Only then, with even greater impatience, was I told that it was broccoli. I should add that not everyone is required to speak English and that, in a restaurant in Italy, it would at least be appropriate to clearly indicate the ingredients or composition of the dishes in Italian. This is even more true if, when a customer asks for an explanation, the waitress seems annoyed at having to provide it. In any case, even with perfect English, the word "vegetables" doesn't really tell you which vegetables are actually on your plate. Moving on to the food, the first courses were a complete disappointment: overcooked pasta and tasteless sauces. The only positive note was the grilled meat, which was actually good, although it's easy to think it helped that, in that case, it was simply grilled meat. As for the "courtesy" of the service, I think there's a lot to work on. Being treated condescendingly and rudely upon arrival and receiving annoyed responses to simple questions about the menu is certainly not what you expect when eating out. We won't be returning.

28/06/2026: A very charming hotel, with a beautiful view of the lake, surrounded by greenery and complete tranquility. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This is our second time back in a week. We also had lunch, and the food was excellent. The chef has adapted some dishes from his menu to be vegan, with excellent and pleasant results. We will definitely return. Weather note: during this scorching heat, temperatures here are pleasant both day and night.

07/08/2026: Very well located, with its own parking. We randomly selected it from a Google search on the way back. Very satisfied. Food prices are quite low. Pizza costs around €8-10, and you get a good portion! Tastes delicious!

13/08/2026: The pizza was really good, a pleasant surprise. Even the fries (despite being frozen) seemed crispy and definitely not soft like they are often served in the area. Perhaps a little too soft, as we felt the constant urge to drink all night, but that's it. The owner was very friendly and courteous, and the place is cute, but in my opinion it could use a makeover (especially given the numerous renovations of buildings and restaurants in this seaside town). The dishes were streaked and a bit dirty. The price was fair.

28/07/2026: Terrible experience in Alba A. There is no more pizza for lunch, the food is frozen/reheated, service practically non-existent... empty room

03/05/2026: My worst experience in Abruzzo was at this very restaurant. I went there this weekend with a group of friends and the food was terrible. The service was completely incompetent, the menu was meager, and the selection was limited. We opted for the arrosticini, which everyone raves about, but they were a total disappointment: truly inedible. The worst, however, came at the checkout: the owner was rude and arrogant, convinced he was friendly but simply out of place. I even went to the bathroom and the situation was terrible: dirt everywhere, truly questionable hygiene. The overall atmosphere is old, neglected, and absolutely not up to the price tag. It was the first time and will certainly be the last. I hope the authorities investigate, because it's absurd that a place in this condition can remain open. I can't give less than one star, otherwise I would have gladly done so!!!!

23/12/2025: Rustic, welcoming, and rustic. Dinner with delicious traditional appetizers and incredibly delicious arrosticini. Friendly, knowledgeable, and top-notch staff! Best arrosticini in the area!
