20/12/2025: Kind and very professional staff, excellent food such as the tagliata and pizza which are top notch, moderate prices in line with the average in a location with plenty of parking spaces.
12/12/2025: After 20 days of booking, I found myself without a place available upon my arrival.
To make matters worse, there wasn't even any pizza dough available.
A truly disappointing organization, especially considering the wait and the planned reservation. Unfortunately, it was a negative experience that won't make me want to return.

03/07/2025: Went to this restaurant at 10pm, traveled up two flights of stairs and this place is either under construction or non-existent... There was no music, no sounds, no tables, no people, no anything. Nothing existed but a rug leading to the next level on the stairs.

Dopo aver sbirciato tra le varie opzioni di consegna, ho capito che il cibo a domicilio di questo posto era un po’ come un film di Hollywood: promesso bene, ma finisce spesso con qualche scena mancata. Piatti buoni? Sì, ma alle volte con ingredienti/aggiunte pagate, mancanti o con una versione che sembrava uscita da un’altra stagione. La sorpresa più grande? La costante sensazione che, anche ordinando lo stesso piatto due volte, non ti trovavi mai davanti allo stesso identico capolavoro. Ragion per cui non ho ordinato più.
Così eccomi lì, sotto il consiglio della mia compagna, ad entrare in un locale che ti accoglie con vibes da pub di quartiere, dove le luci sono soft e non ti fanno sembrare di stare in una sala di radioterapia. Spazi ampi, qui si può respirare, non devi per forza condividere il tavolo con il vicino. La disposizione è fatta bene, e la sensazione è quella di essere in un posto dove si può parlare senza urlare, ma anche godersi il silenzio se si preferisce.
Il menù? Un parco giochi di possibilità. Piatti invitanti e porzioni che a volte ti fanno dire "Ok, può andare, mi devo accontentare", altre volte "Hmm, potevano farla un po' più abbondante". E qui quando si è in gruppo ti vien da dire: perché lui lo ha più grosso? (No doppi sensi) Ha anche più patatine? Forse il mio ha un tocco di mistero che ancora devo scoprire?
Le patatine, sì, sono poche. Non so se scelgono in base a preferenze su chi darne di più.
La qualità? Più o meno buona, senza troppi fronzoli: alcuni piatti sono una scoperta, altri un po' sotto le aspettative.
Si ha quell'impressione di mancanza di qualcosa, come un film senza il colpo di scena finale. Ma ci tornerò sicuramente, perché a parte tutto l'atmosfera che si respira con gli ampi spazi è piacevole.

Our stay at Grancia dei Celestini was absolutely amazing. Set within a beautiful historic establishment full of charm and character, the atmosphere is truly special. Everything was spotless and impeccably maintained.
Antonio is a wonderful host — warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. His care and attention to every detail made us feel completely at home. The breakfast and dinner was delicious and prepared with so much love.
An unforgettable experience — we can’t wait to return!

Antonio was brilliant and "il cuoco," Claudio served us "a meal to die for."
We loved the informality. We arrived for dinner and made not a single decision, the meal was pre-detemined and fabulous. This is our new home away from home.

06/04/2026: We arrive, order (cacio e ova balls, baked potatoes, and some supposed broccoli—"supposed" because broccoli, the real kind, is probably an abstract concept here) and prepare to eat peacefully.
But no. We discover that the benches are reserved for a higher category of customers: those ordering a first course. We, evidently, belong to the economy class and therefore don't deserve the luxury of a seat... despite the tables being perfectly empty.
Interesting company policy: it doesn't matter if you consume, it matters how much you consume. A sort of cabin-style "premium seating."
All this is accompanied by a decidedly less-than-warm welcome and dishes that, besides being questionable, are also described in rather creative terms.
For completeness, I've also attached a photo of the "broccoli," so maybe someone can identify them better than us.
If you're looking for a place where you'll feel judged by the receipt, you're in the right place. If, on the other hand, you just want to eat and relax... maybe it's better to look around.

01/05/2026: We came on May 1st to enjoy the typical Teramo specialties, which are truly delicious. Even the fried appetizers are made with attention to flavor and quality. Soft and flavorful fried cheese, beautifully flavored meatballs, and a truly delicious Mazzarella sandwich. The staff is professional yet welcoming and attentive to the customer's needs.
19/04/2026: Easter Lunch:
The mazzarella, the holiday's key dish, listed as "deconstructed" on the menu, was actually an offal stew with a predominance of liver and lung, but without endive or intestines (see attached specifications for a deconstructed dish);
the rest was unremarkable;
the waiters were extremely kind and professional;
the tables were only two-thirds full.

16/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, simple yet quaint location. The seafood dishes are well-prepared, made with top-quality ingredients, and are plentiful. The menu is extensive and the prices are absolutely competitive. Highly recommended.
25/10/2025: The restaurant feels a bit dated, but it's clean and decorated in a nautical style.
Adequate space between tables and well-lit.
Fast and informal service, very friendly and helpful wait staff.
Simple, well-cooked dishes and generous portions are what set this restaurant apart.

21/02/2026: A simple but welcoming refuge! A place to refuel without any pretensions. The sausage, scamorza, and broccoli rabe sandwich is excellent. We expected the prices to be slightly lower for this location, but in the end, it was worth it, especially for the quality of the products. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful!
04/02/2026: High-altitude refuge reached by chairlift.
Service was literally inadequate even on a Sunday in November. The food was incredibly late, and they had very little to offer.

13/06/2026: What can I say? Very nice place, food, and prices are even better.
The menu is presented without prices, which I think is a negative, and it's probably not even legal. Speaking of the food, the portions are very small; the seafood risotto is a rice dish where they forgot the fish; it tasted more like bland white rice with four clams.
I was very disappointed because I went with high expectations, but once I found out they'd changed management. I paid €70 for two seafood risottos, a mixed fried fish (very little), a still water, and two coffees. I can't say what I paid or how much, because, as I said, it wasn't possible to find out.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend it, and I definitely wouldn't go back.

15/06/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant with a group of 61 people. The food was good, and the service was generally satisfactory.
Unfortunately, there were some unclear aspects regarding the final bill. The agreed-upon price was €28 per person. When quoting, I had asked to replace the fruit with a dessert, as we were celebrating a birthday. The owner explained that if we chose a specially purchased dessert, there would be an additional €2 per person; otherwise, they would serve their own small dessert, and the birthday cake would be paid for separately.
In the end, we were charged €30 per person, and a cake was also added for €30. The dessert served in place of the fruit was very small (about two teaspoons per person), and several guests commented that it wasn't even clear what it was.
Another negative aspect concerns the payment: I wasn't given a receipt for the cake, and the complimentary gift of one person for every 25 participants, as had been agreed upon over the phone, was not applied.
02/06/2026: Good food in adequate quantities. Adequate service. High prices (two mixed roasts, certainly not generous, cost €50).
