I ate their first arrosticini in their sandwich shop because the restaurant wasn't open... and since then, their products have remained unparalleled in their deliciousness. Every time I'm in the area, I stop there to eat...

23/12/2025: We ate here last week and had the toasted sandwiches. They're nice and big, and they're delicious.
They fill you up and don't leave you feeling sick.
Prices are normal.
The staff, in my opinion, is a bit lacking; they seem to be waiting for you to finish your order, and I also think they're a little slow in preparing the toasts.
The place is located on Corso di Pescara and has tables outside, but none inside.
If you want to try a different kind of toasted sandwich, I recommend it.

20/08/2025: Nothing to say, I went for lunch, for a quick and light meal. I had a Greek salad and my wife had chicken curry with basmati rice and avocado: everything was really tasty, beautifully presented and above all... with a smile. Long live this place too 🙌

23/08/2025: I'm not a food critic, so I won't go into detail. My home cooking is always the best. Today, however, I ate well, appreciated the service, and the bill was reasonable. If I were to find myself in this area again, I'd return to this restaurant to feel at home for a while.

26/01/2026: A farm with a simple and welcoming restaurant where you can also choose from a freshwater menu; the trout is the best I've eaten in the area. It's definitely a place you'll want to return to, and so I'll be back as soon as I can!
20/01/2026: Excellent place, and the trout and fish dishes are highly recommended, but the meat a little less so. Service was a bit slow; we waited an hour.

The service was fast, attentive, and truly heartfelt, exuding a rare passion. Stopping here for a break has never been so pleasant and satisfying: it's the ideal stop for anyone seeking quality and courtesy before leaving.

12/01/2026: I hate to give it 3 stars, but after coming here several times, and having eaten very well, something happened the last time that really bothered me.
It might seem like a minor thing or something you could completely overlook, but as a paying customer, absolutely not:
Guys, it's absolutely not possible that, after dinner, you have to leave the restaurant with your jacket, sweatshirt, pants, and even your t-shirt literally filled with the smell of grilled meat.
I mean, does the sliced steak arrive at someone's table with that sort of griddle you use to sear the meat on? That's fine by me, but it can't be done in a crowded room.
By the way, another couple at the table next to us noticed the smell perfectly because they came in later, and the guy himself put his jacket down in the other room, realizing the very strong and, at a certain point, annoying odor.
Now, we went home after dinner, but I can imagine the considerable hassle and annoyance it would have been if we'd had to go somewhere else, anywhere else, literally stinking and impregnated with the smell of grilled meat.
Because it's one thing to enter the kitchen or the grill area—you might be able to smell it—but eating in the dining room like normal customers is absolutely excessive, which is very different from the normal aroma a steak gives off once it's brought to the table.
If it were to happen again and we weren't moved elsewhere, we'd never return.
And please, especially in winter when it's 2-3 degrees outside, when everything is obviously closed, think about this.
Because we weren't the only ones in the area who were annoyed.

25/04/2025: On our way back from a trip to Puglia, we decided to stop at this restaurant instead of the usual sandwich at the service station. Located in an industrial area, the place is frequented by workers. The owner is welcoming, but the atmosphere is a bit less so given its simplicity. The main course was good, with vegetables that I would have preferred warm. So far, so good; the problem lies in the lack of a menu and the owner's subjective interpretation of how she charged for meals. For this reason, I'm listing in this review the prices we were given, which absolutely don't justify what we were served. The first course, for example, was homemade "strozzapreti" pasta with traces of a sour sauce and rare pieces of ragù for €10 (in Polignano al Mare, right in the center, we paid €8 for a first course and it was superior). The second course was €13. All in all, it might be worth the price, but I doubt working-class customers can afford to pay that kind of money for their lunch break! A first course, two second courses, two glasses of wine, a Fanta, a bottle of water, and two coffees for a total of €53...an absolutely disproportionate amount for the location, the setting, and the food offered. Sometimes, being fair and giving your customers the menu prevents inequality among them and the risk of unpleasant reviews like this. Not recommended.

14/08/2025: We went to the restaurant with a reservation at 8:30 PM. We already knew what to order, so we ordered right away: a bruschetta with sausage as an appetizer, 20 arrosticini, and two beers.
After more than an hour of waiting, the waiter informed us that the arrosticini were out of stock, including the frozen ones, and that we could choose something else. At the same time, our appetizer arrived... completely burned and inedible.
At that point, we got up to leave, but had to wait in line at the cash register, which wasn't working. Meanwhile, other customers in our situation were forced to rush to other restaurants that were almost closing.
Result: we left without dinner, still paying a cover charge and two warm beers after a pointless wait.
It wasn't just our experience: the table next to us had ordered a Margherita pizza and a hamburger with fries. The fries never arrived, the burger was burnt, and the pizza was bland.
There's a complete lack of organization in the kitchen and in order management. It's unacceptable to let you know after more than an hour that the main course isn't available and to offer frozen food instead of fresh. A terrible experience: never again.
13/08/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for three years because the food is excellent. The pizza is really good, and so are the arrosticini. Unfortunately, the pizzonde this year were horribly seasoned with low-quality vegetables and were completely indigestible. Isn't it negligent to use two fresh tomatoes? The problem with this place is the slow service. The waiters wander around like people who are in suspense and can't hear. The orders are almost always wrong, and you get one thing instead of another. To avoid further waiting, you eat but without satisfaction. There's no fruit. And in July, oh dear, buy her two bottles of ratafia... and yet it would take very little to make a customer happy, but it almost seems like you don't care because the tourists are just passing by and leaving.
