Osteria L'Antico Granaio In Atri

13/08/2026: The pizza was really good, a pleasant surprise. Even the fries (despite being frozen) seemed crispy and definitely not soft like they are often served in the area. Perhaps a little too soft, as we felt the constant urge to drink all night, but that's it. The owner was very friendly and courteous, and the place is cute, but in my opinion it could use a makeover (especially given the numerous renovations of buildings and restaurants in this seaside town). The dishes were streaked and a bit dirty. The price was fair.

25/07/2026: The pizza is made fresh on-site, and the dough was absolutely excellent – a perfect 10/10. Unfortunately, the toppings felt rather budget-oriented and didn't quite match the quality of the crust. The wine had a noticeable cork taint, even though it was served in a carafe, which suggests it had been poured from a bottle rather than being homemade as expected. The waitress who served us was very kind, friendly, and professional. The only thing I couldn't understand was that the restaurant opens at 12:00, but pizza isn't available until around 6:00 p.m. The table charge was surprisingly low at just €1 per person. However, I couldn't find any information about this fee on the menu, at least not during our visit.
