13/08/2026: Everything is terrible!!! If you can't make the aperitivo dinner because you're not provided, then remove the menu displayed that says aperitivo cenato!!! You absolutely cannot bring adapted, rubbery, burnt, and inedible dishes to the table. The bathroom is terrible too!!! Absolutely to be avoided!!!!

13/07/2026: Takeout pizzeria with a few tables for those like us who decided to dine in. We tried both the pizza by the slice and the pan pizza and were truly amazed. The dough is light and doesn't recur overnight, the toppings are varied, and the staff is friendly. Recommended

16/06/2026: Excellent dinner with high-quality, home-made dishes at great prices. Super-soft cheese and eggs, perfectly cooked arrosticini. Very friendly service. The agriturismo is surrounded by nature with views of the fields. There are also geese and chickens and a children's play area.

23/07/2026: For me, these are the best arrosticini in Pescara. The decision to keep them slightly rare on the inside is spot on, and the cuts are perfect, soft and tender like butter, just as they advertise. The cipollata (onion stew) is very good, another of the restaurant's signature dishes, and truly excellent paired with focaccia and meat. Excellent wine selection, a welcoming atmosphere, and always very friendly service.

22/07/2026: I'll start by saying that even on the phone when I booked, I was annoyed by the arrogance with which I was answered by someone who asked me to sit inside with the air conditioning on, given the high temperatures these days! I overlooked it, but I wouldn't have even wanted to go again, but I was just curious. They raved about it so much. Now I don't know if all Frate Tac restaurants are the same as the one I went to in the hills of Pescara, but frankly, it was an experience to forget! The food isn't bad, the quality of the ingredients is good—I'm talking about the platter bearing the name of the house. The pizza is decent. The arrosticini were ordered by other diners who were with me and said they weren't special but not bad either. What's unacceptable is the tablecloths; there weren't even paper placemats in front of each person! Now, I understand the cost of the paper, but eating at the table is unacceptable, absolutely not! I don't even eat at the table at home, which I'm sure I clean every day! It's unacceptable! Extremely tired staff, unsmiling, and barely responding to requests! However, there's always room for improvement, and I highly recommend this place for just about everything! I'm not even giving it a passing grade yet!

10/08/2026: For an authentic, no-frills dining experience in Lanciano's historic center, "Bar Ristorante Il Chiostro" is an absolute must. In my opinion, the highlight is Una Paella d'Autore (A Signature Paella). The true and undisputed star of the evening is their famous Valencian Paella, an explosion of colors and flavors faithful to tradition. As is evident from the richness of the dish served, the rice remains perfectly cooked, enriched by a generous helping of fresh seafood, mussels, succulent shrimp, and peas. A standout offering that alone is absolutely worth the reservation. The location in the village where the restaurant is located is enchanting, simply magical. Dining on their outdoor terrace, nestled among the historic alleys of the village just steps from the center, offers an intimate and evocative atmosphere from another era. The splendid medieval architecture of the area makes the perfect backdrop for a summer evening or a relaxed dinner al fresco. The service is excellent, reflecting the spirit of the restaurant, where the hospitality fully reflects the genuine soul of the establishment, managed by a team of young, cheerful, and very approachable people. The approach is decidedly spartan and genuine, without frills or excessive formality. Despite the busyness and informal management, the owner's helpfulness and friendliness never falter, immediately putting guests at ease. Ideal for those who prioritize the substance of good food and the beauty of the urban panorama.

30/07/2026: My friend Umberto and I stumbled upon this restaurant after a tiring walk, and despite the hour, they welcomed us and treated us to truly excellent dishes, including a choice of starters, main courses, and side dishes. The courtesy, kindness, and helpfulness of the owner and her staff convinced us to return for lunch during our remaining stay in Lanciano. I recommend it to everyone.

26/07/2026: As often happens, we had dinner at this restaurant, which I believe has the best location in Alba Adriatica. The food was delicious, the staff was young and friendly. Then, something unexpected happened! The plastic chair I had been sitting on for the entire dinner gave way! I fell flat on my face, and since I was wearing shorts, I suffered two cuts on my legs. Since I was taking blood thinners, the blood wasn't coming out very copiously, but it was coming out! Some very kind people at the table next to me helped me get up. A waitress brought me disinfectant and plasters! I was shocked by the behavior of the guy I believe to be responsible, a guy whose only concern was that I didn't hurt myself so much that I had to call an ambulance with the consequences that would follow. Given that fortunately my financial situation doesn't cause me any problems, I would have expected a discount on the dinner or at least that I had been offered my share, since I was the one who downplayed the situation and reassured everyone. Evidently, money comes before human relationships! The guy delegated a waitress to avoid having responsibilities!! I adopt a maxim "always use good manners, because what you consider useless today could be indispensable tomorrow"!! If I had called the police they probably would have been in trouble!!

24/07/2026: The staff were friendly but the beach service wasn't exactly nice, the sand wasn't cleaned, they were packed like sardines and the price wasn't really in line with what was offered.

09/06/2026: We were passing through Capestrano and stopped for a quick lunch at this restaurant, in a nice tourist spot near the castle. All in all, it wasn't bad, but the pasta was unsalted and the cherry tomatoes were raw. The trout, however, was good, and so was the salad! The owner was very polite and courteous!

24/02/2026: I happened upon this small pastry shop, late one afternoon, while walking my dog. The smell of freshly baked cakes led us both to the property and as it was late in the day i expected the pastries to be hard. However i was pleasantly surprised to find they were delicious and among the best i had ever tasted. A subsequent visit confirmed that it was no fluke and i fully intend to visit again the next time i am in Pescara. Some reviews have commented about the rudeness of the staff and the expensive prices, but both the older woman and her daughter were very pleasant to my dog and me and although the prices are more than i am used to paying, i am happy to pay extra for the superior quality.

03/07/2026: The ambiance isn't bad, but the shrimp pasta isn't quite up to par. A poor shrimp sitting on a plate of chitarrina, a sour sauce that didn't even look like shrimp... I didn't even try the main course because it was just the lamb bones. Bad, bad... and to think that all it takes to flavor a sauce is a bit of shells and a pinch of baking soda. And the service... four requests to finally get some water... We won't be back.

29/06/2026: I called just to see if they were open, and in a decidedly irritated tone, I was reminded that they're closed on Mondays and that "it's written everywhere." What can I say... I'd only recommend a welcome like that to my worst enemy.
