02/06/2025: Recommended because you eat quite well anyway, but I'm sorry we didn't have a great time, the prices are quite affordable I must say, I was disappointed by the appetizer, the slices of cured meats were almost transparent (really thin and not fresh), the best dish and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED were the GNOCCHI ALLA NORCIA, I'm really sorry about the service, I did NOT find them ready for guests, tourists or those who come from outside and have never been there, they were unable to explain the menu to us, we often found ourselves ignored and looked at badly even though we used kind and truly humble ways (as it should be, especially because being a waiter does not imply anything obvious) that said, I'm sorry because maybe a little more attention could have made us feel at home, just as it should be in a restaurant, we had to re-evaluate the environment because unfortunately it is located in front of a cemetery and above all because at the time of our dinner there was a match (visible projected on site) and unfortunately we are not fans of stadium cheering while eating

The guys who welcomed us were also kind and helpful (leaving us the booked room before check-in, thoughtfulness that is appreciated). Good and varied breakfast. Well done.

24/02/2025: Really nice hotel located in the center of Pescina. Clean and spacious room, excellent breakfast and very kind staff. It is located in an ideal position for visiting the attractions of this part of Abruzzo. A beautiful discovery!

02/06/2025: Una tipica trattoria Abruzzese. Piatti semplici della tradizione preparati secondo le ricette originali. Proprietari e personale super cortese. Anche la loro gentilezza é di altri tempi. Il servizio merita voto 5. Assolutamente consigliato!

27/05/2025: Ristorante all'interno di quella che era un salotto di un'abitazione, carino, raccolto. Cucina tipica fatta bene con un primo piatto particolare con una pasta fatta in casa. Da provare i loro dolci. Servizio attento e gentile, molto accogliente. Conto molto contenuto per quello che si è mangiato. Locale sicuramente da provare se ci si trova in quelle zone.

02/06/2025: Osteria Zio Tobia: authentic flavors with a sea view Unforgettable lunch at Osteria Zio Tobia in Tortoreto. The restaurant has a wonderful view of the sea, is surrounded by greenery and cared for in every detail, even inside. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with sweet adopted kittens that roam free. We arrived early and the owners, very kind and friendly, immediately made us sit down. The cuisine is typical of Abruzzo, authentic and of the highest quality. We chose the antipasto dell'indeciso to taste a bit of everything: everything very fresh and genuine. The arrosticini, both classic and liver, were delicate and delicious, very different from those found elsewhere. On the advice of the lady we accompanied everything with a local Cerasuolo, truly excellent. The wine selection is also wide and well-curated. We concluded with an original dessert inspired by zuppa inglese, two coffees and an excellent amaro. The bill? Really honest for the quality offered. Plus, we were happy to stop and chat with the owners – a rare and special touch. Highly recommended, much better than the usual tourist restaurants in the area.

18/05/2025: Nascosta tra i vicoli di scanno, piccola piccola pasticceria artigianale con dolci tipici. Gentilissimo il ragazzo che ci ha servito. Abbiamo assaggiato 4 tipi diversi di biscotti, ottimo per chi è allergico a latte e derivati perché praticamente può mangiare quasi tutto, ma il vincitore è la tavoletta con cioccolato fondente di cui non ricordo il nome.

06/04/2025: We were in this place on Saturday evening (after having booked the day before) 4 people seated at a table large enough for a maximum of 2 positioned between the cashier and the pizzeria counter... Overall very good pizza... Asked for 20 kebabs at 9.45pm but they were finished 😵 (in Abruzzo on Saturday evenings at the same time even pharmacies serve kebabs).... Pos not "working" payment in cash without receipt 🤷..... It's a shame because it doesn't take much to make the customer feel at ease.....
