Trattoria with surreal decor, excellent food and service with a smile

Simple but welcoming atmosphere. We had lunch on the small terrace overlooking the river. The service was fast and friendly. The crostini with delicious liver pâté was excellent, as were the tagliatelle and tortelli with ragù. A must-try.

Amaizing food, wish I would discovered it earlier. Family atmosphere. Must visit when you in Santa Sofia.

The prices are too high for the quality of the dishes, which is absolutely decent. You can find the same deal for the same price at many other restaurants/trattorias in the area. The waiters are friendly and the service is prompt, albeit with a few minor oversights. It's definitely nice to eat on the terrace overlooking the river or upstairs. We wanted to try it once, but that's enough for us.

There's a street artists' festival in Santa Sofia, and we decide to stop by to see them. We're looking for a place for dinner and think this trattoria might be a good choice, but there's no menu displayed. We go in and ask to see it. It's interesting, so we ask to make a reservation for 7:30 PM (it's 7 PM and the trattoria only has four people seated). We're told, rather brusquely, "Eat now or never." We're a little disappointed, but we decide to stay anyway. We ask to sit on the small terrace, since there are several empty tables. Again, brusquely, we're told, "No! Come down and eat downstairs!" Somewhat perplexed, we follow the person downstairs to a covered area with many tables, all empty. Not a single person. We ask to sit at an outside table, and, confirming the person's lack of tact and kindness, he replies, "No! You eat here!" (The table is right in the center). We sat down (despite Adri having decided to leave) and ordered an appetizer (crostini with liver pâté), a first course (fregola with peas), and two second courses (a penne with tomato sauce and burrata with black truffle). Two beers and a water. Luckily, we were served by other, more friendly people. The food was excellent, so it's recommended (hoping they'll be kinder to you), but the approach was terrible (it was also our anniversary, alas...). The tablecloths were paper, and the cutlery, along with a paper napkin, came in a little bag. The price wasn't exactly cheap (almost €35 per person).

Tradition and goodness, seasoned with plenty of friendliness! We'll definitely be back!

We went to this trattoria for the Manu Chao concert. A super positive experience, a rustic and very welcoming place. We ate in the summer terrace along the river. The tagliatelle with ragù was excellent, as were the main courses. Highly recommended. The host was very friendly (thanks for the hats).

Cibo ben cucinato e portate particolari molto buone. Passatelli fritti, tortino di carciofi con fonduta e burratina con speck molto buoni. Al di sopra di ogni aspettativa gnocchi di patate con porcini e guanciale. Deliziosi i secondi. Bravi!

Posto molto carino , location particolare ,terrazzino sul fiume, cibo molto buono e presenrato bene. Gestore gentile e simpatico. Assolutamente consigliato
