27/02/2025: We ordered two sandwiches: One with pulled pork and one with panpanella... Lots and lots of stuff! As a dessert, spectacular chocolate dried figs! And a good bottle of wine. Fast service and very high quality... Highly recommended

13/02/2025: Every now and then we come for an aperitif in this original and unique place, cozy but very characteristic... the trio of gigantic bruschettas is generously stuffed and artistically prepared by the chef Elisa... but also the platters and other very tasty specialties... the prices are reasonable and all the staff are approachable and affable... I highly recommend coming here at least once!

17/03/2025: I went there for lunch yesterday with my partner Valentina from Pescasseroli, I compliment the owners, every time we go there for lunch I am really happy with the goodness and quality of the food, the owners are very kind and patient, the food is of excellent quality and is very well prepared, not to mention the final bill to pay which is absolutely fair and much better than the average of the places in the area, where due to the tourist location the prices are quite high. 13/02/2025: Had lunch last Sunday, we had two first courses and pasta with river prawns and they were both good, and spectacular kebabs for the second course. The appetizer was also good, including the delicious ricotta. They welcomed us as if we were at home and we had a really good time. Modest prices considering the quality of the products.

20/01/2025: The food was good and the waiters were friendly. Don't expect a visually luxurious restaurant. The Foce is decorated with many items that they will have collected since they first opened the doors. The dining room was kept nice and warm and there is a bathroom available for customers.

09/03/2025: Booked for Saturday midday, good reviews, I was hoping!!! Unfortunately the starter was decent but the cold cuts were not of quality, without flavour. The rest seems all reheated and the dessert...because it's called dessert!

The owners are very kind and super helpful. We were very happy. We will definitely return here when we have the chance.

Abbiamo scelto come location il lido STELLA D'ORO Pescara sud, serata oltre le aspettative, in perfetta sintonia...sposi, invitati e staff. La Direzione di una professionalità impeccabile, i loro volti sorridenti sono stati la ciliegina sulla torta. L’atmosfera che si è creata era accompagnata da un perfetto MOOD condiviso da tutti, invitati e non, i quali grazie alla musica coinvolgente del fantastico DJ che ha iniziato una marcia nuziale di Wagner interrotta subito da un rock sfrenato, si sono inseriti come spettatori durante la cerimonia e gli innumerevoli balli, da villeggianti sono diventati parte integrante della nostra festa. Crudi, freddi e caldi…primo piatto, arrosto misto e frittura a centro tavola…tutto pesce, accompagnato da un Trebbiano e Cerasuolo della cantina Wilma di Chieti scalo…che il viaggio abbia inizio!! Se il vostro intento è quello di divertirvi e godervi una festa a pieno regime…che sia un battesimo, una comunione, cresima, diciottesimo matrimonio o compleanni vari, non vi pentirete di aver scelto LA STELLA D’ORO. Torneremo! E non è una minaccia… :)
