16/04/2025: The place is not "fashionable", the appearance is a bit shabby but it represents those places where the focus is on substance and little on appearance. The score could be 3* because the average between location and cuisine would say this, but I would like to reward the goodness of simple but expertly prepared dishes. Review update: renovated place, so the 4* are more than deserved, I would also add the courtesy and speed are not common, well done!

28/03/2025: The pizza is definitely one of the best in Francavilla and the service is fast and courteous. The only flaw in winter is the room with slightly chaotic acoustics, while in summer the tables by the pool are the best. 👍🏻

21/03/2025: The location is really nice, excellent color combination, soft relaxing environment for spending time with the family. Let's move on to the baramares appetizer food, good and well presented, the quality of the cured meats and cheeses is excellent, praise for the stracciatella. For the supplì with avocado mayonnaise perhaps a little bland... To be reviewed. As for the pizzas, the dough is made to perfection and the mixture of flours used is very tasty. The quantity of yeast and the right maturation time of the dough are adequate. Excellent cooking. The slightly disappointing part concerns the toppings, for the pizza with seafood appetizers, the freshness of the fish is unquestionable, but the variety of flavors is a little too obvious. The last phase of the review concerns the bill, which is absolutely fair compared to what I ate... Overall, perhaps it didn't win me over 100%, but I will repeat the experience with other diners

13/04/2025: The friendliness of the owner is unparalleled, if she doesn't want adults to get ice cream with a flavor she can easily specify it in the price list rather than muttering under her breath while the customer is paying. Too much is a nuisance and the unjustly deserved fame hurts her, given that the ice cream is certainly not among the best.

28/03/2025: Not being from the area, I didn't know this place. Passing by, inspired by the name, I decided to go in. We were greeted with kindness by efficient, friendly and very helpful waiters. The food was really excellent, prepared with high quality products and offered at a very affordable price. We will definitely be back! ☺️

23/03/2025: Small but very welcoming and well-kept place in the small edge of Decontra. The service was excellent, simple and friendly. We opted for a venison appetizer: cutting board and mix of 3 hot appetizers; all very good... too bad we didn't find the cheese and egg paddles among the hot appetizers, I was left curious!! Next we had the ricotta-filled ravioli with white venison sauce: Very good! And some venison pappardelle, good but not exceptional! We chose the second one from the off-menu and we liked it. To finish, a good tiramisu. The portions and raw materials are excellent, as are the bill and the house wine. Recommended!!

The location is enchanting, with attention to the smallest details and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfectly immersed in the beauty of the landscape. The cuisine was an authentic celebration of the flavors of Abruzzo tradition, brought to levels of absolute excellence. Each dish was not simply "good", but a real explosion of flavors that exceeded all expectations. The traditional recipes accompanied us on an unforgettable sensorial journey, where each ingredient was enhanced to perfection. From the appetizers to the first courses, from the second courses to the sweet pizza, everything gave us a unique gastronomic experience. Special thanks go to the owners, Marianna and Luigi, who with their warm and genuine hospitality made our evening even more pleasant. It's clear that they put their heart into everything they do, and their dedication is reflected not only in the cuisine, but in every detail of the experience. "Il Cervo" is not just a restaurant: it is a place where the Abruzzo culinary tradition finds its highest expression. I can't wait to return!

09/03/2025: If you went out for the Sunday binge like the weekly shopping you do at the discount store, you're in the wrong place. Here you can enjoy the food, the flavors carefully paired. The cellar is equally delicious. The impeccable service. What drives me crazy when I discover wonderful realities like this is reading the negative criticism of some keyboard scientist.

13/12/2024: very nice place, a well-kept beach managed by smart guys with a great desire to work. The restaurant was very good and appreciated with really good fish first courses although the highlight in my opinion was a soute of fabulous mussels.

06/11/2024: beautiful and warm September day sheltered from the shade where you were cool a stone's throw from the sea. good food, background music and helpful staff. I pointed out to the waitress that the second course was not perfect, perhaps due to a technical problem and they were kind to adjust the bill so they still deserve 5 stars. I recommend it because I really liked everything

19/03/2025: Personale gentilissimo, locale molto bello anche se un po’ piccolo (come la maggior parte dei locali in pieno centro storico). Antipasti ottimi, segnalo in particolare l’uovo croccante con tartufo; abbondantissimo il tagliere, buono il carciofo (fuori menù). Buone le pappardelle agnello e carciofi, squisita l’anatra al miele con verza, il maialino da latte al tartufo un po’ asciutto. Vorrei segnalare la professionalità del personale che ha deciso di fare uno sconto per scusarsi del baccano fatto da un tavolo vicino (tra l’altro, per noi, giustificato: si festeggiava un imminente matrimonio!). Nel complesso ottima esperienza, da ripetere!

12/03/2025: The place is small, always full (and there must be a reason), cute, elegantly furnished without going overboard, with taste, the staff is courteous, the choice of menu is wide 3 very varied, the dishes are all really excellent, the artichoke, but also the octopus, like the suckling pig or the rabbit tortello, all prepared in atypical combinations or variations of traditional dishes, really excellent, all of them. The price paid for what was ordered was truly "competitive"; A place where you can eat well and where you can return.

08/12/2024: A fantastic discovery! A true pearl in the middle of nature. Exceptional food, a perfect mix of traditional Abruzzo dishes and modern Italian cuisine. Very fresh flavours, cooked and combined in a way that we have hardly found before. Excellent prices, considering the quality of the dishes offered, it is difficult to find a quality/price ratio like this. Courteous and professional service. We will definitely be back!

23/02/2025: Definitely a place to visit if you are in Pizzoferrato, the first courses are tasty, as is the meat. Prices are very affordable.
