31/01/2026: Legendary perfect arrosticini .....top

05/01/2026: Compared to the last time we visited the restaurant to enjoy Abruzzo arrosticini (then called Margherita Due), in my opinion, the cuisine has undergone a significant downgrade. The tables, set haphazardly with minimal cutlery and napkins, weren't enhanced by the house wines, very much house wines, which were acceptable, while the tap water was served in jugs unsuitable for a restaurant that wasn't at all cheap. What can I say about the bruschetta dish with very generic and cheap side dishes? The arrosticini, well-cooked and of good quality, were overly salty, to the point that the salt covered the flavor of the mutton. The bread that accompanied the arrosticini was overly refined and too rich in crumbs. The French fries were original only in shape. To finish, the coffee tasted like a regular Borbone coffee, but without the option of having it decaf. I advise customers to pay particular attention to the price of the dinner, which, in my opinion, is excessive, perhaps due to a miscalculation by the handyman or to unfair prices (€100 for four servings of arrosticini seems a lot to me). Pay attention to the layout of the restaurant, which has an excessive number of stairs.

02/11/2025: Exceptional, excellent service. The lady in the dining room was very helpful and welcoming, making you feel at home. The food was superb; we chose the six-course tasting menu, which guests can choose from, as long as they share the same dishes for the table. Each course lived up to expectations, even more. We also really appreciated that the homemade bread, which was delicious, was brought only with the main courses, so we didn't have to fill up first and could fully appreciate each course. The wine pairing was recommended by the lady who proved to be extremely knowledgeable. High-end dining with excellent value.

26/12/2025: I personally managed the order, quantities, and combinations. Qualified, very attentive service, rustic, very intimate setting. Qualified products: very greasy side dishes, excellent pork dish, the only flaw to consider is the lack of fruit.

02/02/2026: We stopped here during a visit to Lanciano. It's a truly lovely place with a view of the square and right under the Cathedral of the Madonna del Ponte! The girl who welcomed us was truly professional. We sat outside since it was a pleasantly warm day. The place looks great inside too! We had Black Velvet, arrosticini, baked potatoes, and a platter. Everything was delicious! We'll be back when we're in the area!!! Top Rating S&P A+

28/01/2026: Good evening, this evening I stopped by their place to enjoy an aperitif voucher they gave me. Unfortunately, due to my forgetfulness and other commitments, we showed up for an aperitif in January 2026. The voucher expired on December 31, 2025. The staff informed me that the owner had said it had expired... Excuse me, is it a medicine?....and yet you received money from the voucher, I don't think it's expired....I understand the expiration, but it's a matter of common sense, which is essential if you want to run a business....that's what makes the difference today....I certainly lost an aperitif, never mind, but it doesn't matter. I don't know what you gained in return, maybe a few free euros in exchange for no service provided... Or a nice advertisement 😀😀😀 As they say, "advertising is the soul of commerce." You guys can draw your conclusions... Congratulations....top 😀😀😀

04/01/2026: Welcoming place, excellent food. It's WORTH eating here. It's a shame about the cover charge, which is really too high. 2.50 per person is exaggerated for a tablecloth and paper napkin. It's a real shame to be disappointed by such a small price. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

04/01/2026: It was truly a wonderful discovery. Aside from the warm welcome from Francesca and Francesco and the super-friendly staff, we ate wonderfully. I recommend the fried fish, delicious and plentiful. The appetizers and first courses are equally delicious. I also tried the cod, both as an appetizer and as a main course with peppers, and it was truly delicious. Highly recommended. We'll be back very soon.

14/12/2025: We were here for dinner yesterday. The food was excellent, with artisanal arrosticini and high-quality classics. Everything was truly delicious, even the wine. The people who served us were very kind, as was the girl at the cash register who gave us the bill. An exceptional place with knowledgeable staff.

16/11/2025: We went for dinner yesterday. The place was very nice, rustic, and welcoming. Excellent service, the staff were always attentive and helpful. We had truly superb mixed bruschetta, and we couldn't miss the skewers, both liver and traditional, truly exceptional. Value for money 🔝 So, congratulations on everything, and definitely highly recommended. We'll definitely be back on our next weekend in Abruzzo in May.

31/10/2025: A stroll along the seafront… 1:00 PM… Time to eat… And this is the perfect place for a quality meal at an excellent price. Carole is very attentive. We had the €25 lunch: antipasto, primo, water, a glass of wine, and coffee… It was very, very good 😋… What more could you ask for? 😉

16/12/2025: A true agriturismo, serving traditional dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. It features a large dining room and two smaller rooms for groups of up to 12. The owner's daughter is becoming a skilled chef using her grandmother's recipes. Reservations are required.

10/11/2025: Incredible experience! I'll start by describing the first course: ricotta ravioli with meat sauce. The ravioli are exceptional, with a firm dough that you can taste, and the artisanal ricotta filling is perfect. The meat sauce isn't too heavy or overpowering, as it should be for ravioli where the filling should also stand out. The level is raised with the cacio e ova balls, by far the best I've ever had. Fried but not heavy, the cheese is top-quality, and the sauce is perfect. The cheesecake is artisanal, and I've rarely had one of this level in a restaurant. The grilled meat was exceptional, and the baked potatoes were excellent. An absolute must-try for anyone in the area.

25/10/2025: The San Bartolomeo restaurant has always been a guarantee of excellent cuisine. The rustic setting offers traditional local dishes.

01/01/2026: We were a large group of people, staying overnight for New Year's Eve. They let us stay past checkout time so we could rest after the evening. The staff was super helpful and courteous. We sincerely thank all the waiters and the owner Elio, who put up with us until well after 3:00 AM. Excellent dinner. Thanks again, we'll definitely be back!
